We have a lot of groups and love that the system creates a custom install for each group. Is there a way to NOT have the desktop icon installed without having to hand edit the MSI file?

I have using Pulseway to monitor 40 servers, most of them are HP Proliant. One of my big issues for 3 years old server is the hard drive fails. Does Pulseway support monitoing Raid status so that I can net notice/warning when HDD failing. If so, how to set it up?

  6. I changed phones recently and the new app says: 'This device is pending approval. Login to the WebApp and approve it from the account devices page.' If I got to https://my.pulseway.com/main/account/devices there is no device to approve. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi. I've been trying to remove an agent from my account because my client replaced their PC. I have removed it from the Configuration section in the Web App and tried from the Dashboard but when my client switched their old PC back on the agent then registers itself and I get the warning email that I have too many Systems on my account. Apart from trying when the PC is switched on, is there a way to remove from my account? Regards, Andy

I retired a computer running Pulseway Manager and replaced it with a new one. MMSoft website FAQ describes the procedure to delete a monitored computer. Step one is to uninstall the Pulseway Manager on the computer to be deleted. I did not do that. I just archived the computer and reformatted the system drive. The next step is to bring up Pulseway Manager on another computer and use the Account tab to show a list of computers in the group, and delete it from there. I do not have an Account tab in any of my Pulseway Managers (v6.2.1). I signed on to my MMSoft website account thinking that I should be able to delete the computer from there. The archived computer shows up as…

Hello. I've been using pcmonitor for over a year now and it's working great. I do have 1 situation with it running on a Windows 2008 R2 server running in terminal services mode. There is a copy of the pcmontask.exe process running for every user logged onto the terminal server. I found the startup key in the registry at: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and have removed the key several times, only to find it's there the next time I check. I configured pcmonitor on this server to NOT update the client automatically but that's had no effect. I suppose it's not that big of a deal but right now there are 15, 12MB processes running. sometimes there are more, …

When I set up my machines to be monitored I used remote scripts to do the following: wget https://xyz.com/files/windows_agent_x64.msi -Outfile c:\ff\windows_agent_x64.msi msiexec /i windows_agent_x64.msi /quiet Now, the problem is that these machines are NOT picking up the info required from the Pulseway policy so not all of the desired information is showing in the webapp for each machine. I then tried using: wget https://xyz.com/files/Pulseway_x64.msi -Outfile c:\ff\Pulseway_x64.msi .\Pulseway_x64.msi /qn username=xyz password=xyz group=Internal server=xyz.pulseway.com Running this on a local machine does pick up the policies and work …

Hi, Here is how I recently "decommissioned" and uninstalled my service files from a machine: Beware: use the rd and del command at YOUR OWN RISK! run these from your remote service app or Pulseway terminal; 1. Check for your Support files and remove; dir c:\PathToSupportFolder\*.* rd <- remove directory, /s including sub-folders, /q just do it! rd /s /q C:\PathToSupportFolder\FolderAndSubFolderToRemove repeat with other sub-folders as needed. Check folders are removed dir c:\PathToSupportFolder\*.* Delete one file: del c:\PathToSupportFolder\filename.ext 2. If you have your own service files in the User Profile folder: Chec…

Hello All, I have PC monitor installed on a home system and the remote app on Android. I'd like to be notified when Windows goes into battery mode via UPS. I want to receive a notification that it's on UPS and how much battery power is remaining. I'm not using the Parachute suite. I didn't want the overhead of another app. Is it a service that I have to tell PC monitor to alert me too once the service changes conditions? Thanks for your time & attention..

  21. We have requested this from the support team with 0 response (seems to be a common issue). We need documentation for the custom data. How do we display it, set it, etc. We would like to be able to pull information from the system via script and output to the custom field, but cannot find any documentation on how to do it.

We are currently assessing Pulseway and use Nagios presently for monitoring. A core requirement is to be able to monitor files & folders, we have two requirements: a) Monitor the files in a folder with the "abc" extension and alert if one exists with a "Created Date" greater than 2 hours ago b) Monitor the folder "Modified date" and alert if less than 2 hours ago Is this possible with Pulseway?

Hi, I am testing Pulseway and have deployed a few agents, all good. One of the agents I have configured as a discovery probe, all good. The probe has located a number but not all of the computers on the LAN. At another site the probe is not locating ANY other computers on the LAN. Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

Hi there Is it possible to start the maintenance mode via the commandline? (e.g. PCMonitorManager.exe call with param). My server performs a weekly reboot. I have a shutdown script which ends all services, task, etc. and a start script which starts them again after the reboot. Now, i have to manually start the maintenance mode, wait until the reboot over night is done, and then end the maintenance mode manually again. Is it possible that i can start the maintenance mode in my shutdown script, and exit maintenance mode in the start script? Thanks for any hint :-) Regards Simon

Hi, I've just installed this on a server as a test - all seemed to go very smoothly - and looks like a nice integrated solution. Slight issue in that I tested with EICAR virus (which it reported nicely ..) But to delete the notification in Kaspersky on the server I need a username and pwd - I tried my pulseway one - it says default user name is KLAdmin But so far I've not found a combination that works ! Thanks James
