We are very happy with Pulseway, but have noticed an interaction we are trying to fix.

We recently moved to AutoPilot/Intune for shipping out laptops and having them get automatically configured. We are pushing out the pulseway client and its working well.

However, we want Pulseway to NOT manage windows updates, only 3rd party applications. Right now, both Intune and Pulseway are setup to manage windows updates, and the rules are not playing nicely together.

Is there a way to tell the Patch management to ignore windows updates, and only care about 3rd party applications?

	Hi all,
My goal is to create a Win32 package to deploy using Microsoft Intune that auto registers the computer.

I've done this successfully with agent version 8. However, today I cannot get it to work with agent version 9. Despite contradicting help information out there that directs you to use Orca, the .MSI file that is generated contains the appropriate information to auto-register the agent. In the past I've converted the .MSI to .INTUNE, created the app in Endpoint Manager and assigned it with success.

I'm working on doing this process again with agent version 9. I can get it to deploy with Intune, however auto-registration fails. My process is the same as with agent version 8. I'm at a lost as to why the registration info is being manipulated somehow during the .MSI conversion to .INTUNE.

I'd love to get my hands on a version 8 agent to test with. Any advice appreciated.

	Hi All!

Does anyone know what to do about the Google Update Services?

We have added the policy profile "All Auto-Started Services Notifications" to our servers, which works just fine.

The problem is, that Google renames their update service every time, they update Google, making it virtually imporssible not to disable notifications on my iPhone, as it keeps me up all night.

I was hoping, that it was possible to use a wildcard character, ignoring the current build number in the Google update service.

	Something like Google*

	Regards,

I don't want to take away the patch policy because it enables me to stop Windows updates from happening by themselves or allowing the end users to run them.

	Hi,
I am trying to install Pulseway on a Windows 2012 Server and I am getting the error above.
There was a previous install which doesn't seem to have uninstalled properly.
I'd appreciate some help on this... I have stopped all running Pulseway services - that I can identify but no luck.

A second request: is there an uninstaller program available to completely remove a previous version of Pulseway?

For the first time, we are trying to manage the Pulseway agent using policies rather than touching every agent manually. Where are current and accurate instructions for how to do this? We have an on-premise instance running v9.5.1.

The tutorial video (under training center) feels like a nice marketing overview, but it reflects a previous version, so some details are inaccurate, and it is an overview. It doesn't provide enough information to actually create a new policy from the Web App.

The Help Center has a whole section devoted to "Policies and Agent Configurations", but I still haven't found one article that actually provides the information I need for creating my first policy and modifying the configuration.

	An example:

When I go to ADMINISTRATION/Configuration/Policies and click "Create New Policy", the very first screen asks me to select a "policy type". What's this? I see no mention of it in any of the documentation I've seen so far. I chose "Device Configuration" and clicked "Next". Now I see Device Type, OS Type, and Manufacturer. Huh? But since all three sections indicate that this is a "root level" policy, there's nothing I can do here except assign the policy to some endpoints, which I don't want to do yet (that's putting the cart before the horse). So I click "Next" and I have the option of assigning a profile. I haven't made any profiles and don't even know what they are at this point, so again, there's nothing I can do at this point, so I "Save". Now I go to edit the newly created policy and I have no more options that I did the first pass through.
I then created a "Monitoring" policy, but this offers the same options as the "Device Configuration" policy. Searching the forums hasn't led me to anything helpful yet either.

Where are all the settings that I can choose to enable or disable? Why does all the documentation I'm finding appear to be out of date? If Pulseway is going to change stuff, then the documentation should be kept current to reflect the changes.

We just signed a 3-year deal for 2500 endpoints, and I am astonished at how frustrated I've become trying to setup some pretty simple and basic things. My time is WAY to valuable to have to spend hours and hours guessing and doing trial and error.

May I please get some help?

	Thank you,

	Stephen

A fresh install of the Pulseway Remote Desktop Client on a brand-new Windows 11 laptop gives me this error:

The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

The first time I installed this app, I had no issues, but after a few months, this message started appearing. I was able to fix it after messing with certificates and uninstalling/reinstalling a few times with Revo. Are we not at the point where installing this app will take care of installing all necessary certificates, configs, etc? What is the best way to resolve this error?
