Is there a way to monitor the temperature on a machine on an on-going (or logged) basis? I would like to set a notification to be sent when the Core Temp reached xx degrees. I see that it is monitored in the hardware section, but i can't find a place to trigger an event. Thakn you,

Our technical support AD credentials have changed passwords and now we are getting hundreds of machines trying to login with the configured AD account PowerShell User Impersonation credentials…locking the technician accounts. These machines are spread out at 19 separate locations and over 600 miles, at remote locations. How do we remotely modify the Runtime PowerShell user credentials on those machines? I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, but it absorbs the previous configuration…including the former PowerShell User credentials….I also tried calling tech support but was sent to voicemail. Hi All New here, just discovered PC Monitor after years of messing around using several different monitoring solutions to look after 25-30 servers. So far I'm dead impressed with this software and it's associated applications I have a couple of questions 1. When using the desktop monitor application the only way I can get the servers to return to green after a notification is to delete the notification, does the software store a history or log of all the error messages on a particular server, or can I get the server to return to green as soon as the message is read without deleting, this also applies in the Android app. 2. With lots of bad events occurring this past week and one happening right now. I went to create a policy for patch management so that a computer could be assigned to a policy that would prevent windows updates until issues can be resolved. So I have set it to not install under all conditions. It requires me to set a schedule. Is this schedule the dates on which Pulseway will check and refresh the Windows update policy in the event they have changed on the PC or does this schedule apply to anything in this case ? I guess I'm wondering how the policy is enforced. If I set it to repeat daily does it update the windows update settings once a day or is this checked before …

Now that Pulseway has the ability to roll out Win 10 Feature updates, how do you configure the rules to allow for it? I have attached my rule, I know it is wrong, how do I adjust it to allow my 1909 machines to update to 20H2? Any help would me much appreciated. Thx

Hi Having a bit of an issue starting the service This had been installed and working correctly but I think some windows updates were run on the server and I am unable to start the service now Keep getting the error "Unable to start service" when I open the PC monitor manager and try to start the service. Hello, I figured I would re-post this issue we have been having. Only to solve one issue this time. I have successfully uninstalled the pulseway application from a user's computer that was having major issues. (Deleted all pulseway services, related folders, and registry entries). However we are unable to install the program again. The user is using Windows 7 64 bit. Please assist, as I don't want the users PC to be not monitored.

Hi We're looking for a way to monitor our client UPS' using the PulseWay Monitor. They are all connected to customer's servers using either USB or network. Is there a way to use PulseWay to monitor these, and to then alert us if there's an issue / event? The UPS' are all APC based. I believe we can use the SNMP module to do this, but my testing so far has been unsuccessful. Thanks Matt

We had a user who somehow got upgraded to Windows 11 over the weekend. She swears she didn't click on the update to 11 icon in the taskbar. In Pulseway, our patch policy she is assigned is set to install all updates including Optional. When I look on my Win10 laptop under Windows Updates > Optional, Win 11 is in the list. Does this mean users will get upgraded? If so, everyone needs to be aware. Pulseway, anything in the works to block this? I'm not afraid of 11, I just want to roll it out in a more managed way esp since we have to upgrade SSLVPN client after upgrade to 11.

New to PW. Need to setup a notification when Internet is lost from our provider. I already have server monitoring, but need to know when the entire connection to the outside is lost. Thanks.

1) Have been using MPCM for a couple of weeks now - great app. One of the machines I was monitoring had a disk crash. I've replaced it, but can't seem to get rid of that machine in my list of monitored machines ... please don't tell me I need to rebuild the machine, to uninstall the software to remove it from the list. 2) Even when I am not running the (Windows) Phone app, it seems to be polling the servers. Is this correct ? Is it continually running in the background ? Can this be disabled, or modified ? I don't want to be racking up data charges all the time ....

In pulseway dahsboard (and other pulseway apps) The name of the computer that have a freshly installed pulseway agent will be shown in the pulseway apps. when i change the computername later on, how dows pulseway handle this? does it change in dahsboard? or does it keep the original name? thanks

These are the kind of apps that keep me going on in my work I was wondering, If I buy a 25 PC subscription and after a month I need to manage other 20 PCs (45 PCs in total) what can I do? do I have to buy another 25 PC subscription or a 50 PC subscription? Hi all, I hope you're having a great day and are keeping safe. I'm having an issue with setting up email notifications via SMTP to Office365. I've followed the document on setting Pulseway up to talk with Office365. I've also been in touch with support on this and haven't been satisfied with their answer. Have any of you linked this up successfully? If so, which IP addresses do you have whitelisted? Is there anything obvious I'm missing? I've set up a relay and can't see any attempt at mail delivery via 365. Cheers! Joe

Is there a way to monitor a service and started automaticly if the status is stopped. is this possible natively or does it require some kind of manual schedulet task to make this work? if it requires a schedulet task then this could be seen as feature request to create a automated service restart rule into the rules.

Hello! I started testing PCMonitor a week ago and I am very pleased with what it's offering except one thing ... I'm really missing an insight of monitored system history (uptime, cpu/memory usage etc.). It would be really cool if there were some graphs so that you could see how did the server behave through time. You do show a graph of cpu/memory usage, but that is like 30 sec or so which doesn't tell you much in my opinion. Can we, if we buy enterprise version of PCMonitor, configure it to retain information we are interested in in database and build a custom application upon it? Regards, Davorin

I am in the process of testing PC Monitor and I noticed Remote Desktop Connection in the dashboard. I completely turned off the firewall on client's computer but it still comes back with error "Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons" My questions are: 1. is it enabled in the free account or do I need a valid paid subscription? 2. is it to control that particular computer just like sitting at it? 3. is it available for a client's computer running other than Windows Pro? I'm a little frustrated with the fact that I can't monitor RAID configurations and Drive failures and also can not monitor host resources on ESXi hosts. I love the remote features but does anyone have suggestions on how I could monitor RAID arrays remotely. Hopefully via Pulseway. Actually very frustrated Over this even though the product is good in other ways.
