Feature Requests

I just signed up for Pulseway to monitor a small client of my side business. I am in the process of setting up patch management for workstations. I would like the systems to prompt the end users to reboot upon installing updates but Pulseway seems to be very restrictive in how it lets you set that up. It looks like all I can do is have it reboot immediately or give the users a 5 minute warning with a generic message. I work with a competitor product at my day job and it allows us to specify whatever message we want, set whatever timer amount we want and allow the users to defer the updates as many times as we want or force a reboot after a certain number of deferment…

Hi: thist is a great piece of software ever!!! there is some request i have made by email a few months ago ;-) In possible in the Active Directory module show all user logged in the Domain ¿? Not only the local session active session in the Server. Will be really great add. Another add will be a possibility to see all shares on the Server and the active connection, and the option to disconnect any active session. Is posible to show in the notification when a user is logged in a server, the IP address from the conection is made ? We manage over 100 servers most of which run Windows Server 2008 or 2008 R2. We would love the ability to have reports generated for successful or unsuccessful Windows Server 2008 or R2 backups. This is the only thing holding me back from moving forward with your software.

Would also, love to see a widget to place on one of my android screens .. that way I could just slide over to it when I'm curious as to what's going on .. I'd love to be able to customize it to and be able to select what information to show. For example, I might do the following: - Show active user count on my terminal server - Show memory/cpu usage - Items in queue on the exchange server - Maybe even active calls on my asterisk server (I know that one is a stretch)

We've recently integrated PC Monitor with other systems / applications like Syslog Server and PagerDuty. What other system / application integration would you like to see added in future releases?

It would be really nice to have a option in Enterprise server that automaticly adds newly added computers to a associated account. If you use unnatented installation through GPO to install your computers automaticly, then you have to add this computers manualy to the associated accounts.. mabye a checkbox in the account settings window? Hi. When reciving notification on high cpu or memory usage, it would be very nice if the notification could include a top-10 list of cpu or memory consuming processes. Hi All, I would like the following notifications available; - POP3 Check -> The Pulseway service checks a particular mailbox via POP3 and checks the amount of messages; if messages exceed # -> Alert. - Telnet on #Port -> The Pulseway service checks telnet on a particular port towards an IP. If Telnet fails, -> Alert. - Files -> The Pulseway service checks a directory on amount of files, if file count exceed #-> Alert. I was wondering if you had on the roadmap or if you could add the possiblity of doing SAML connections for use with single sign on, and if you guys had any plans to do MFA using Google Authenticator, RSA, or Duo Security, etc.? I love the product and the capability of using it mobile, but it would be great to enhance both the web and mobile apps with added security.

Patch management for windows servers Although windows updates can be installed through Pulseway this is a manual process. Is there a patch management module for this? We could approve important/critical updates on certain servers to be automatically installed on a specific day. Also notifications to let us know updates have been installed and a reboot is required.

Often times when client calls in they don't know their computer name. We would like to see the currently logged in user right in the dashboard to identify the correct computer.

While the system tray is a good idea to allow the customer to communicate with the tech without calling and just opening a ticket, is something that it has fall behind in development and features. Compared to other competitors I don't understand why this section of the Pulseway hasn't been improved in years. 1. The system tray has no customization other than the logo. 2. The system tray support request is very limited to just "Message" and "Priority" 3. When the customer fill up the box called "Message" is obvious that this is to type the message or explain the problem they are experiencing and the reason for the ticket. can i request a feature that would be very useful? we have 50 servers that we are monitoring and want to enable a new feature from the latest release but as it stands at the moment i need to log onto each config to enable the feature. can there be some sort of master page to enable it on all servers (even if its just in a specific group) rather than doing each one individually? thanks gary

Hi - I think the Dashboard is a really important tool for alerting and giving visual assurance, but it's a bit limited when you have a number of monitored systems or groups as the dashboard quickly ends up with multiple screens, meaning some machines aren't visible? I can't quite imagine how this would work well with 50 or more monitored machines as so much information would not be visible? If you've got a single machine in a group/category...it takes up an entire row on the dashboard, with a huge amount of wasted space to the right of the machine icon...it would be great if the dashboard could be more like "tiles" than "rows", with monitored systems shown as a 1x1 ti…

The report feature is very useful, but it would be more useful (at least for me) if it could be broken up by group. Ideally, I would like to be able to run the report only on computers in a certain group i.e. run installed software report on the "Web Servers" group. Less ideal, but still usable, would be to sort the software report by group and computer instead of by software. I understand the usefulness of doing it the current way for licensing, etc. Maybe there is a way to do this right now that I am missing. If there is please let me know. Hi, when you shut down or reboot the server, you receive quite a lot of notifications about services going down. Is it possible to somehow detect that shutdown/reboot has been issued and suppress all notifications for monitored services until next start?

Hi, When wil the management app be there for Apple Mac OSX? So we can manage systems like the windows app now.

If the monitoring system (Win, OSX) Pulseway Manager password is locked against changes are seen all settings, but they are disable. If triggered locked Pulseway Manager, there would be only the password field, and after successful login would only previewed the settings window. Thus, it is seen though disable many important settings and end user would not know what it is set. Perhaps just as it should ESET ideal. He can not even uninstall without a password. TY, RK
