To provide the background, my organisation takes a gentle approach to scheduling reboots. The reboot notification is configured to appear 23 hours before the scheduled reboot time providing users with ample time to reboot their computer before the scheduled time. Unfortunately, some users are still reporting it to be disruptive even with 23 hours grace. I suspect this might be to do with the language used by the notification prompt: it states "Your computer is about to reboot". Obviously, with 23 hours notice, "about to" isn't strictly accurate. A better message might be the following:</p><p>"<i class="fas fa-arrows-spin" title="arrows-spin"></i> <strong>Your computer is scheduled to reboot at hh:mm dd/mm/yyyy</strong><br>Security patches have been installed on your computer which require a reboot. You can choose to reboot your computer now to avoid disruption tomorrow or you may snooze this notification and decide later.<br>If you choose to do nothing, your computer will reboot in <strong>hh:mm:ss</strong> as scheduled."</p><p>I appreciate this suggested message is best only for our organisation, so it would be helpful if it were possible to customize this notification.</p>

	I have some questions about functionality on Linux. If these things can be done, and I missed something, please share.  If these things aren't possible, then they should be considered as feature requests.
</p>

<ul><li>
		<strong>Scheduled Maintenance:</strong> Linux servers have scheduled maintenance as well.  We need a way set a maintenance window on Linux servers.  I considered writing a script to modify the maintenance settings in config.xml, and schedule it in crontab for the beginning and end of maintenance window.  However, if the server were to not come back during the maintenance window, then a notification will not be sent, so this is a flaw.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Rules:</strong> It would be helpful to be able to write/assign scripts (possibly from the Pulseway script library, or just local on the machine) to run when certain events happen.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>File Content Monitors:</strong> It would be very helpful to be able to create a plugin for Pulseway that monitors the contents of one or more specific files, then they could be displayed in the Pulseway app, along with it's values.  For example, we could script the power values from a UPS, and then display the voltage, battery remaining, status, etc.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Remote configuration:</strong>   We should be able to set the configuration options from the GUI on a Windows machine, at least for the functionality that's supported on Linux.
	</li>

	Hi there!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I often find myself running scripts on our machines in a way that demands follow up/verification, so I thought it would be a good thing to be able to add scripts to a queue in Pulseway to have them run at a later point in time when a system becomes available online. Currently I tend to keep a document with all the machines listed, so I can mark them one by one in order to know which ones are done, and which ones remain. This is kinda tedious because our machines (especially laptops) tend to be offline for longer periods of time, and I have to follow up on a daily basis until the script ran successfully on all of them.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I know about automation tasks in Pulseway and the possibility to schedule scripts to run daily, weekly etc. But they will continue to run on all computers for as long as the task is enabled. I've tried to cope with this by building scripts that won't reapply the software and/or settings if existing data is found. It seems to work, although it's not an optimal solution since the scripts will run tens or hundreds of times on our systems when they only really need to be ran once.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	So, what am I suggesting?
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		The possibility to run one or multiple scripts (either directly or via an automation task depending on what the Pulseway devs prefer)
		<ul>
			<li>
				With an option to run once.
			</li>
			<li>
				With an option to include offline systems (the script/s will be queued for when they come back online)
			</li>
			<li>
				With an option to send success/failure-reports to the administrator
			</li>
			<li>
				With an option to retry once, twice or three times whenever a script is unsuccessful. (in my case this is useful because Powershell Impersonation doesn't work in home environments when VPN is disabled, so a second attempt may succeed.)
			</li>
			<li>
				A section in Pulseway WebGUI where an administrator can see the deployment progress and success/failure-ratio.
			</li>
		</ul>
	</li>
</ul>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	One of many scenarios: I have a script that will install a scheduled task with some predefined values, and upgrade an MSI-installation to a newer version. I want to make sure that all our computers run the script with a successful output.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Please let me know if you find this suggestion useful!

	Many other RMM platforms already have this feature available. We can setup our own email service already with SMTP or OAuth, which is great but can be a hassle with current day e-mail security measures.
</p>

<p>
	It would be nice if the Pulseway RMM platform was natively capable of sending email notifications without additional setup. For example, for our use: we would normally have a distribution group setup, alerts@business.com. We would have Pulseway send all notifications there to be reviewed and handled. As it works right now we would have to use one of our own accounts or pay for another email account for the purpose, for the notifications to be sent, then setup either SMTP or OAuth. It seems counter intuitive to be forced to use our own email service to send notification emails to ourselves.

<p>
	if a computer has a completed backup, no notification.  If a computer has not done a backup in x time, send a notification.

<p>
	Great Dashboads and periodic reports and only 0,50$ per check/month.  A BIG timesaver as now I only need to spent time to backup tickets that are actually need my attention.
</p>

<p>
	They have integrations with all the wellknown PSA's but not Pulseway.  I'd like to urge to get this integration working

	Every self-respecting developer these days uses source code management. All (automation) scripts I currently use are SCM'ed in Gitlab but the only option currently to make them available in Pulseway is a dumb copy/paste.

	While the system tray is a good idea to allow the customer to communicate with the tech without calling and just opening a ticket, is something that it has fall behind in development and features. Compared to other competitors I don't understand why this section of the Pulseway hasn't been improved in years.
</p>

<p>
	1. The system tray has no customization other than the logo.
</p>

<p>
	2. The system tray support request is very limited to just "Message" and "Priority"
</p>

<p>
	3. When the customer fill up the box called "Message" is obvious that this is to type the message or explain the problem they are experiencing and the reason for the ticket. Well, when the PSA receive this ticket the entire SUBJECT is the message. I don't know who in development though this was a good idea.
</p>

<p>
	4. The Integration of the System Tray and the RMM should be separated. Because inside the RMM I will like to for the Agent to create a ticket regardless of the Priority, because the customer will choose the priority, but by doing so, the PSA create a ticket for every single Priority, which of course makes it counter productive and a huge mess.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Here is what developers should do.
</p>

<p>
	1. More customization. Allow us to create templates or design the content of the systray for example:
</p>

<p>
	- Contact Information
</p>

<p>
	- Open a New Ticket
</p>

<p>
	- Take a Screenshot and Open a ticket
</p>

<p>
	- Useful Links that we can add for the customer to click (for example a knowledge on our website)
</p>

<p>
	- Allow real chat with the customer, initiated by the customer. We can get notification on our phone.
</p>

<p>
	All these features should be enabled based on a policy, for example I may don't want ALL the customers be able to chat with me, only those who are in a high SLA. Everyone else need to open a ticket. So it will be good that I can create maybe one policy for my SLA customer and one for my regular customers.
</p>

<p>
	2. When the customer request support, this should open their email application, this makes them fill more comfortable typing the SUBJECT and the Description of the problem, in addition some may want to add attachments, copy other emails or forward other emails, or attach screenshots. They may also want to CC other people in the office that may be having the same issue, instead of us receiving 5 emails for the same issue. One person can report for all.
</p>

<p>
	3. Separate the system tray support request from the RMM ticket creation. I only want Critical or High tickets created from Servers only, I don't need normal or Low, but if a customer send a Normal or Low request we should get it as a ticket.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	If the development team need help on making this better, let me know cause this is way overdue.
</p>

<p>

</p>

	For security purposes and business operations, it would be advantageous for Pulseway to allow MSP's to white-label the systray app and desktop icon. It would be difficult for a hacker to see what RMM software is attached to the system if the entire application was white-labeled. Other RMM's allow this. Currently the systray app only has predefined options. It would be efficient if more options were available for systray like NinjaOne has for there systray application. For instance, when i was recently testing NinjaOne I can have a link to my public knowledgebase, chat with a technician, new user request form, etc... It also allows me to customize icons with my own. NinjaOne has a very professional systray app, because we were able to brand it as our own. The desktop icon and label are Pulseway branded which does not allow the MSP to customize these two without going in to each machine and doing so. Same for the Pulseway Manager's splash and registration tab.

	Hi Pulseway,
</p>

<p>
	Please add support for WinGet. It's the official Windows packet manager.
</p>

<p>
	Pulseway is available in WinGet right now but Jaden of Pulseway Support just told me by email that it's not officially supported by you.
</p>

	Pulseway should introduce a dedicated asset management module to provide comprehensive tracking and management of hardware and software across IT environments. Currently, Pulseway focuses heavily on monitoring, but adding an asset management feature would enable users to easily track equipment, licensing, and lifecycle status in one centralized platform. This would streamline inventory management, reduce manual effort, and help IT teams stay on top of hardware warranties, software licenses, and scheduled maintenance.
</p>

<p>
	By integrating asset management, Pulseway can offer a complete solution for IT administrators who need real-time insights into both their systems' performance and asset usage, reducing the risk of oversight, improving budgeting accuracy, and supporting better decision-making when it comes to IT resource allocation and replacement cycles. Additionally, having this capability within Pulseway will eliminate the need for third-party tools, providing users a seamless, single-platform experience.

	I was a longtime user of Spiceworks Help Desk for many years (before they did away with on-prem) and it had a specific feature that helped out a lot. They called it Tickets Anywhere. Basically when you received a ticket email, you could reply to it and put commands in the message body. Say for instance a ticket come in and I checked it and saw it was something "Joe" could do, in the body of the reply the very first thing would be #assign Joe . The ticket was assigned to Joe, and the user got a quick response showing we were on top of things. There were many commands you could do just by replying. #add 30m would add 30 minutes to the time spent working on the ticket. #close obviously closed the ticket. #reopen would reopen if it had been closed. #priority high changes priority, #status waiting changed ticket status, #accept and #assign to me would assign to the user detected as replying to the email. There were quite a few commands and I used them regularly, and so did the other techs. I don't know if Pulseway could be set up to act on commands like this but I for one would love to see them. The clients see quick responses and they're much happier.

	Several of my clients manage multiple locations under the same company or management structure.  I have Pulseway configured to treat each location as a separate site but under the same customer.  As designed, the client remote access feature in the v9.7 client portal allows an individual login to access resources from only one site location.  This is unnecessarily restrictive.  If a customer manages multiple sites they should be allowed to access resources in all those customer locations from a single login to the client portal.  This can be done by allowing a "Shift-click" to select multiple site locations in the Pulseway web application.  Thank you.

<p>
	would also be good if we can move items into OUs and create new groups/OUs
