  1. Suggest ideas on how to improve Pulseway

In the roadmap i see something called Pulseway Backup. Does this mean you can export/import your Pulseway configuration for usage in another instance? Or does this mean you implement a service where i can backup my server to “a Pulseway cloud” Because the later would be a HUGE benefit to me, as a “Pulseway minded company”. I have tested Atera in the past (amongst loooooots of other RMM’s) and they offer a feature where you can use the agent to backup the selected system to your portion of the Atera cloud, i would think this is not hard to implement, since you obviously allready have the infrastructure and security in place, and it would allow us costumers to mo…

Would like the ability to run a report to see previous Pulseway chat conversations and support requests. Currently - you can send an email at the end of each chat conversation but... it would be nice to go back and view archived support requests and live Pulseway chat conversations if needed.

As the title says, any plans to integrate the Dashboard product into the WebApp? Makes sense, one less install and a central point for reporting and config.

Due to ads on Linus Tech Tips, I wanted to try out Pulseway. I currently run a Synology NAS at my house, but unfortunately I cannot find any version of Pulseway dedicated to Synology NASes. I would like to ask if there is a workaround (maybe a .pat file) or if Pulseway is officially implementing this feature soon. Thank you!

Hi, The main great idea with pulseway was to be able support customers from the mobile phone. It seems more features have to be run from the website rather than the app. Example: I have a script that i need to run on all computers in a group. Can we not have the option to view and run scripts from group level in the mobile app. We can do this when we go down to computer level. Its a pain having to setup a scope online, then create a task to run it. And the same with a group terminal. I know you can create script but sometime us engineers just need to run a command for all computers in a group. Can you not setup the terminal and powershell option i…

If the monitoring system (Win, OSX) Pulseway Manager password is locked against changes are seen all settings, but they are disable. If triggered locked Pulseway Manager, there would be only the password field, and after successful login would only previewed the settings window. Thus, it is seen though disable many important settings and end user would not know what it is set. Perhaps just as it should ESET ideal. He can not even uninstall without a password. TY, RK

  7. We use Puleway Webapp (RMM) and PSA. I have to setup to different logins (PSA is on SAML) for access. Is there any plans to allow us to link and integrate these two logins?

  8. PROBLEM In Pulseway, there is a place for tickets with PSA integration. This is clunky, and frankly cumbersome to use. In order to have any sort of mobile ticketing experience, I must download the Fusion app, and use it. Once in it, the interface is not user-friendly, in that I have to search around just to make a simple note on a ticket. That app logs me out after only minutes of inactivity. Compare that to "Fresh Desk" where I'm logged in all the time, and the interface is very friendly. In fact as a former user of that platform, I completed and notated tickets predominately on that mobile app than I did on a computer, because of the "on the go" type…

  9. Hi Pulseway. Now we have your client on all our servers it would be nice if we could use it to write registry values on all devices. I was thinking of loading a *.reg file. Or it it should have some wau!!-factor you could parse *.adm and *.admx files. Best Regards, Martin Stevnhoved

Hello. I think the Pulseway is really good. There is always some room for improvement... What I did not notice during the test, or was not aware of: The push system is really in need of revision. With the following one would also simplify many processes and solve problems! # Interest What is the interest of the technician and billing? When? Date + time - What? A SHORT text with keywords for copy & paste. Now there is too much text. Status # Push It would make sense to make ONE, BIG window with the messages. Sorted by date/time Critical, Important, Normal, Low --> defined with colors (or as text) Acknowledge …

  11. One of the things keeping us from pushing Pulseway out on all of our managed computers is that its very difficult to change the Pulseway settings on many computers at once (you have to change each computer individually). If there was some way that we could push a settings change to a whole group this would help enormously (most other RMM software seems to use Policies or Templates for this).

  12. I currently use Connectwise Control for remote and to push applications to client machines. Connectwise Control allows me to have a toolbox in which I can choose from programs which are downloaded to my Pulseway Server and push them to the client computer. This is very helpful for downloading apps to the machine rather than having to manually download each app by going to each website. This is great for programs like: Adobe Reader Malware Tools if the machine is unable to browse the web Additional tools I use for diagnostics and password recover like Nirsoft. I select the tool and then it automatically downloads it and runs it. I can als…

Has the pulseway team considered a monitor for Qnap and other network storage devices?

  14. Hi there! I often find myself running scripts on our machines in a way that demands follow up/verification, so I thought it would be a good thing to be able to add scripts to a queue in Pulseway to have them run at a later point in time when a system becomes available online. Currently I tend to keep a document with all the machines listed, so I can mark them one by one in order to know which ones are done, and which ones remain. This is kinda tedious because our machines (especially laptops) tend to be offline for longer periods of time, and I have to follow up on a daily basis until the script ran successfully on all of them. I know about autom…

I would like to be notified when QuickBooks and QuickBooks Enterprise needs updating, if it can not be done through pulseway, then a "notification" would be fine. I have a lot of clients that uses QB and this will prevent them calling me, and this allows me to do my job better and faster. Thanks

We like to monitor desktops but will want to have them on quiet mode, where notifications get logged but will not pop up on the phone (critical events only) Past two nights I missed a critical server notification because it was covered by the desktop once. We will continue to use pulseway for desktops if there's a quiet mode otherwise it just doesn't make sense to have servers and desktops together. Cheers

Hello, I would like a feature where when I remote into a users computer, you are given the option to block the user from inputting any information and or block them from viewing what you are doing.

  18. Hi. It would be super nice, if we could get (read only) SQL access to the hosted Enterprise server database. Then we could do all the integrations on users, assets, notifications (and more) that we would ever dream of. Please consider this a feature request :-) Br, Martin.

Hi all, I would really love to see the dashboard update notifications when an alert criteria has been corrected. For example, if I have an alert that says your ping response is longer than 300ms, I might not do anything about it but keep an eye on it; I would love for that ping to keep going and then alert me again when the ping dips back below the 300ms again. We currently monitor network connections down to Latin America as well as to the Philippines and we get network drops all the time; whats important is when we see the systems come back up whether its on its own or after we've fixed a problem. When an uptime response comes in, we'd like to hear a 2nd notificatio…

It would be good to have a option to reboot an endpoint in safe mode with Pulseway running helps with fixing issues etc

Receive an alert when the PC / Server is waiting to reboot Pascal

  22. Started by Dansbar,

Although the current SNMP functionality is good, some devices don't provide any useful information to SNMP read requests. Many devices send a lot of useful information as SNMP traps and often clearly define the alert level when a trap is sent. Additionally, relying on read requests means that MIBs have to be used to configure each device which is time consuming and if an OID is missed, an important alert can be missed. It would be great to see Pulseway agents able to receive SNMP traps with the ability to then filter as required for notifications.

  23. We currently use TeamViewer as our remote support software and like to have Pulseway as a backup to that, but one thing that we like to do is record our sessions for both accountability and to have the ability to reference something we have done in the past to resolve an issue or to double check one's work. If Pulseway is to compete with this, I would like to see the ability to record these sessions.

Hi - currently, if a pc's OS is trashed & the OS is re-installed (same hardware, same pc name), re-adding it to PC monitor does not overwrite the "dead" entry of the previous installation - is this something that could this be implemented at some stage please ?

  25. We setup some SQL query based notifications on one our servers yesterday and when it fired I noticed that at the bottom of the alert it said: Note: Another notification for this filter will be sent only after this notification is deleted. I know there are other types of alerts that won't refire on their own unless they are reset (I believe disk, mem and cpu are the same). It would be nice if all these types of alerts that need to be manually reset carried this additional note at the bottom as a reminder as I don't think they currently do.
