Hi, My motherboard has 6 fan headers, bit only 2 are listed in PC Monitor... Fan 1 and Fan 3 respectively. It also has quite a few Temperature sensors but again only showing a few of them. This used to show pretty much everything on previous versions, so not sure what has changed. I have reinstalled Windows 7 64bit Ent, but is still the same. Is there anything I can do to check the sensors are being picked up correctly, registry entries perhaps? Failing this, is it possible to download earlier versions that seeme to be more compatible with my Motherboard? I love this application, it really does help... So thank you! Just hope I can get it working perfectly again. …

I set up a Raspberry Pi with MobilePCMonitor and then imaged my Raspberry Pi filesystem to several other Raspberry Pis. Each Pi is set to generate a different hostname on boot and then start up MobilePCMonitor after changing the hostname. Sometimes when I boot up two Pis that both received the same filesystem image, they refuse to identify themselves independently in the MobilePCMonitor admin area. The machine that’s listed in the admin area alternates between the two hostnames periodically. It’s as if they’re both vying for the same spot. Please help!

I've noticed lately that when I have a remote session live on a machine, my local keyboard input is not being accepted in items such as Notepad, Chrome, Outlook, etc. This seems fairly system wide and I'm not always able to replicate the problem. This is likely something to do with the keyboard forwarding method, but I can't isolate this myself. Also, this does occur on several different machines - not one workstation in particular. As soon as I close the remote session, the keyboard functions normally in my local Windows 10 environments. Good luck with this one - it seems very transient.

I run into an issue with one of my PC's no longer being able to run the PC Monitor Service. It seems to have started approx. 30 days ago. I've since uninstalled PC Monitor, rebooted and reinstalled with the same result. The service will start, but will stop itself 10 secs later. Anyone know what may be stopping the service? I've logged into the PC Monitor Manager and made sure it was connected.

I've been trying to automate as many of my maintenance tasks as possible with Pulseway, but I've noticed that the scheduled start time does not correspond with the actual start time. It's not consistent though, so it doesn't appear to be a time zone issue. Here's some examples: Sample: Cleanup Temporary Files Weekly on Thursday starting on 29 December 2016 at 20:00 16 February 2017 21:39 Took 8 seconds Result: Successful 15 February 2017 20:00 Took 15 seconds Result: Success…

I can't seem to update any agent settings remotely anymore. I normally use Dashboard to edit an agent's config and change the computer name as needed (hire/term). As of about a week ago, this no longer works. The agent config screen comes up normally after right clicking in Dashboard and choosing edit computer settings, lets me make my changes, and then gives the standard "this may take 30 secs" message when saving. But nothing happens, no update. If I go back in and look at the settings again the modifications are not there. This also happens with Pulseway Manager under Manage Systems. I don't see a way to update agent settings using the WebApp. I have not up…

I would like to think this is a bug rather than desired effect, as the previous method was far more useful. This changed following the revamp to the "all systems page" (I'm running 8.9.0 build 127 release 312 : hosted) The Output of a script now just displays in one line, and to get all the detail, you need to on-hover. Which means, you cannot select any text from it. It's really annoying. See example below.

My headless Ubuntu 22.04 (x86_64) machine, running agent 9.3, recently sent me a "Low Memory" notification. This was unexpected as I don't have any memory-intensive processes running on the machine currently. Since this was the first time I received such a notification, I decided to investigate the matter to understand what could have triggered it. The notification: I ran "free -h" to get a clearer picture of the memory usage. Here's the output: $ free -h total used free shared buff/cache available Mem: 62Gi 1.2Gi 3.9Gi 832Mi 57Gi 60Gi Swap: 8.0Gi 0B …

The PC Dashboard desktop app cannot edit the local agent config for any agent that is version 9.0+, is there a new dashboard release coming? "Edit system settings" from the dashboard results in "unsupported config" error. On a side note, is there any other way to modify the agent config besides logging in and using the local manager app? I don't see a way to do that in the web app.

In this system, (all Win 6.1) we redirect ALL possible folders, including Start Menu. It appears that the PC Monitor Start Menu shortcut is machine specific. When I launch PC Monitor from the shortcut on any machine other than the one on which the shortcut was originally installed, I get this error: [Window Title] Problem with Shortcut [Content] The parameter is incorrect. [OK] I suspect the same problem will occur if you DON'T redirect folders but DO use roaming profiles...but I haven't tested that. Probably the best and easiest fix: Install the shortcut to the All Users Start Menu.

PC Monitor agent 2.5 beta 5 I have an Event Log monitor that notifies me if it finds an Application event from source "Backup" of level "Error". There are a few in the log, the last occuring 30 Sep 2011. However, PC Monitor has sent me 3-4 Notifications AFTER that last event. The latest bogus notification was at 2:07AM this morning, and I realized from the Notification details that it was actually reporting an Event that occured 6 Sep 2011; currently, the first such event in the log. I did not record which Events the prior Notifications were reporting, but I do know there were no Events coincident with the Notifications.

Hi I've the PC Service running on a windows server 2003 SP2. When a process goes crazy and starts using the whole CPU, I receive a warning notification. (Which is good) After a few minutes with the 100% CPU, the PC Service stops updating. Then the server is listed as offline in the PC Monitor in my windows phone. Since the server is listed as offline, I can not kill the crazy process. I have to login with remote desktop. After a I kill the crazy process, the PC Sevice starts working again. Can this be fixed? Thanks, Marco

Hello, XP has known bug, it goes back to hibernation state after reassuming from hibernation and idling for 5 minutes. It is useful for me. When I stop using my XP (remote desktop or dlna server) I just leave it and it goes back to hibernation state by itself. NOT anymore. After installing PC monitor it does not hibernate. I even set it permanently to go to hibernation after 10 minutes but it does not work.

Hello, I've setup the event log filter on a few hosts on my network to log bad logon events. It works sometimes which is weird .. it seems to be completely random when I do and don't receive the alerts and notifications. Sometimes they go through just fine, other times I can try to enter a bad password 10 times (to test) and receive nothing. Under event log filter here is what I have: Event Logs: Security Level: Audit Failure Event IDs: 4625, 529, 530, 531, 532, 533, 534, 535, 536, 537 Notification Priority: Elevated Any ideas? thanks!

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I'm unable to scroll on Notifications... so if the notification is an event log alert, and I check it from my phone I only get the first few lines and am unable to move the message up or down to see the rest.. If I view the same message from my tablet, I can see more of the message .. but again .. can't scroll up or down if the message is longer than the resolution of the device. Thoughts?

Hi Guys, On my dashboard and iphone app, randomly, servers are popping on & off "the grid". On the dashboard, sometimes i get the big red error running across the bottom of the screen saying something like "The connection to the servers has been lost..."... I can get you the exact wording in a few mins (when it comes back up). But ever since my dashboard upgrading to version 2.8.1, it's been acting strange with this problem. any ideas?? thanks.

Hi, I posted earlier this week in the installation section, regarding WOL in Windows 8, but in hindsight actually believe it's a bug I'm reporting rather than an installation issue: http://forum.pulseway.com/topic/602-windows-8-wake-up-function/ Could someone review this please? It's quite a frustrating issue. Thanks in advance.

I'm running PC Monitor and all is well. Except for the fact that it seems to be locking files at OS level. Mainly when I'm running my VirtualBox image with a raw disk I get the following error: Failed to open image: '<filename>' for writing due to wrong permissions (ERR_VD_IMAGE_READ_ONLY). I have found that disabling the PC Monitor service will let me start the VirtualBox image correctly. I have tried this several times. Therefore I can only conclude that PC Monitor is blocking the write mode. However I'm not sure whether it is the vmdk file or the physical disk itself that is locked by PC Monitor. I'm suspecting the physical drive since creating the …
