I added two switches to one of my Pulseway clients to monitor over SNMP. I added the agents in server modules > SNMP and then added the triggers in Notifications. I pulled a power cord on one of the switches and the alert tripped right away sending notifications to my phone and dashboard. I pulled a PSU cord on the other switch and no alerts. Looking at the values (3 is working correctly) I see the PSU value has changed to 5. Obviously out of tolerance but no alerts. I then recreated the variables for the agents seeing if something went wrong. Now the switch that didn't alert the first time alerts but the one that was working doesn't alert. Can someone…

After being unable to open the Management Agent looked like the installation was corrupt, I uninstalled the agent and then tried to re-install it. It fails with error 1001: the specified service already exists. Installation Incomplete. Is there a way round this issue? Regards Paul.

I've just downloaded PC Monitor and really loving how it fits so much of our functions perfectly. Right now our company has a set of proprietary USB based devices that we keep plugged in our desktops. The problem is that this batch was poorly manufactured and has occasional failures. What we would like to do is able to be notified whenever one of the devices is no longer working in a USB port. I'm not sure if this is currently possible on the current version of PC Monitor or is there some other method to achieve this? Thanks!

Hello, after installing Pulseway Agent on a Server I got following message when registering the machine: There was no endpoint listening at https://ourcompany.pulseway.com/Server.svc ...... There are other servers in the network where the installation did work without any problem. I have set proxy settings, without any success. I already uninstalled, rebooted and checked if a firewall blocks the traffic. no changes... Any hints on that? Thanks and regards Roland

Hi Pulseway was setup by someone who has now left and I have installed the client upon multiple computers and servers which all appear within Pulseway manager / Manage systems and in the pulseway dashboard but none appear within the mobile app nor within the webapp. I have obviously missed something, but what? Hi, I'm running a Ryzen 5 1600 in an Asus X370 Pro motherboard but the only temps shown in the apps are the ones from the HDDs. Is there any way to display the CPU temps? Thank you

Hi, I use Pulseway only for parental monitoring, so my kid won't play online games instead of studying when I am not home -I get notified when he launches the game program and then I can kill the game from my mobile phone-, but the little bastard learnt to kill all processes in task manager before playing. I know Pulseway creates an entry in the task scheduler to launch "watchdog.bat" if it goes down, but, I don't know why, but watchdog.bat no longer exists in my pulsway folder (I reinstalled it just in case, but no, no watchdog.bat). If I create a task to launch PCMonitorSrv.exe and pcmontask.exe every minute they would not start, so I assume they must be launched …

Hello, I downloaded an agent to a Windows Server VMware guest hoping to be able to monitor the CPU temp. When I go to the Pulseway manager on the guest and go to Notifications > Hardware and to setup a new notification, the dropdown for "device" is empty. Will this work on VMware guests or is there another approach?

So I need to setup Remote Access for one of our vendors. I created the account for him but when he tries to log in remotely it gives him an "unable to access remote server" error. Hello team ! Hello community ! New to pulseway, but already loving it ! We do monitor a large bunch of windows laptops, and set up pulseway to alert when there are critical updates are available. The consequence of this setting is that whenever Microsoft releases a critical update, we have random critical alerts as soon as the laptop gets connected, which is not manageable. We could deactivate alerts, but it is not the point, as you may agree. Do you believe there is a way to get an alert when a computer has not been updated for, for example, one month ? I retired a computer running Pulseway Manager and replaced it with a new one. MMSoft website FAQ describes the procedure to delete a monitored computer. Step one is to uninstall the Pulseway Manager on the computer to be deleted. I did not do that. I just archived the computer and reformatted the system drive. The next step is to bring up Pulseway Manager on another computer and use the Account tab to show a list of computers in the group, and delete it from there. I do not have an Account tab in any of my Pulseway Managers (v6.2.1). I signed on to my MMSoft website account thinking that I should be able to delete the computer from there. We have a lot of groups and love that the system creates a custom install for each group. Is there a way to NOT have the desktop icon installed without having to hand edit the MSI file?

Setting up a test environment for Pulseway, brand new server 2019 install, have loaded everything up as per normal, hoever when trying to validate another win2019 server for monitoring, i get the cold not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authorit '******.*****.***.**' any ideas?

Hi there, I'm wondering if someone here could help me out. I was just installing Pulseway on a server and the installer crashed part way through. So now the service is on the server (but not running) but the rest of the application is not. So if I re-run the installer it detects the presence of the service and stops, saying that Pulseway is already installed. But I can't start the service because it detects that the program files are not there. Likewise, because the program files are not there Windows doesn't show Pulseway as a program I can uninstall if I wanted to clear everything out to get a clean start. Can anyone suggest a way forward for me here?

Is there any way to give an endpoint a custom name inside of Pulseway without having to remote into the endpoint and change it in the agent?

I currently use a Windows Server 2012 Essentials R2 as my primary Domain Controller and have Eset Remote Administrator version 6.1.365.0 installed and running. I've installed the Pulseway Manager 4.7.3 on the server without difficulty and am able to connect to this with my mobile device - an iPhone 4. When I attempt to setup the Server module for Eset within the Pulseway Manager on the server I am unable to connect to my Eset Remote Administrator server. Able to install Pulseway no problem, but we do get the following error when we try and register/validate the account: This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms. Hello, I've been trying to uninstall pulseway from Windows Server 2008 (not R2) from our fileserver since it is having issues with pulseway. I want to uninstall the agent and reinstall it but I cannot remove it. What are the steps to removing it? I cannot find it in program and features and I have tried by deleting the service and the folder but no luck.

Hi. I've been trying to remove an agent from my account because my client replaced their PC. I have removed it from the Configuration section in the Web App and tried from the Dashboard but when my client switched their old PC back on the agent then registers itself and I get the warning email that I have too many Systems on my account. Apart from trying when the PC is switched on, is there a way to remove from my account? Regards, Andy

Hello I am trying out Pulseway but I am having issues starting the service. I was able to install the software fine but I am not able to register the device. I received the email stating that I was going to authenticate a device but it doesn't complete. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any assistance is greatly apprecaited. I have done this on 2 different computers and both expercienced the exact same thing.

Hello and TYIA~ I am trying to put together a work flow that will hold a ticket for 7-days once we believe it is complete. Once assigned to a particular status, I would like the ticket to stay open for 7-days, then if there are no further updates, close itself. Does anyone have anything like this they wouldn't mind sharing?

Hi When I install Webroot from the within pulseway it shows as installed but there is no trace of webroot on the target PC? It also does not show up in the webroot console which leads me to believe that while pulseway says it is installed it clearly is not? Target PC is Windows 7 Pro. I have uninstalled both WR and PW in the hope that a reinstall would work. Reinstalled pulseway and WR not showing up on the target PC or WR console. Never had problems installing before !!
