Hi I have created a Patch Policy, and when to Agent Status, selected a Scope or Group (I tried both) and then assigned the policy However, if new agents are installed and part of the correct Scope or Group, they do not get the policy assigned. The Status shows as 'Not Assigned' What is the correct way to ensure that any new agent installation gets the correct patch management policy automatically without any manual intervention? Thanks

Hello, I tried to remove the agent, with this: Get-WmiObject win32_product -filter "Name LIKE 'Pulseway'" | Select-Object IdentifyingNumber; But it is empty. Try to reinstall the agent, but I get the error "Service already exist." In add/remove software is Pulseway agent, how can I remove it?

During testing we have removed the installer entries from the registry on a managed PC. Therefore, Pulseway is not listed on Add/Remove Programs. How do we now uninstall Pulseway?

Hello, suddenly I am unable to uninstall KAV from some of the computers (they both are in the same group) as in the RMM the uninstall option along with change policy are greyed out with notification "disabled by policy". Not really sure what that should mean as I do not recall any changes in AV policy being changed lately. Also uninstall from within the Windows is not possible, greyed out too. What gives? Thanks

Has the 8.8.11 Agent update changed the behavior of the -support flag I'd heretofore been using with pcmontask.exe to bring up the Support Request window? I can confirm that "C:\Program Files\Pulseway\pcmontask.exe" -support still brings up the Support Request window in 8.8.10. If this is a permanent change, is there another way to bring up this window? Clients found using the taskbar icon to request support frustrating as Windows often shunts it to the "hidden items" section, or the icon is simply not visible, so as such I'd been using the aforementioned desktop shortcut with the -support flag. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello all, I have been deploying webroot to a few sites through pulseway. This is the first time I have had to manually install webroot. Webroot would not install through pulseway on three computers. The manual download installed immediately and began a scan and reported into the webroot console. In pulseway the status for all of these was install failed and there are no actions available. I waited quite a while and no change. To get actions available I then installed again thrugh pulseway which imediately worked.

We have requested this from the support team with 0 response (seems to be a common issue). We need documentation for the custom data. How do we display it, set it, etc. We would like to be able to pull information from the system via script and output to the custom field, but cannot find any documentation on how to do it.

Hi all, We have SMTP working fine in PSA Pulseway. I believe the settings are correct in the Email Parser but when testing it can never connect to the server. Any suggestions? I have read through all the asks here that came up when searching IMAP. Using the same user from SMTP settings page. Error! Connection to server failed. Please check the given configurations and try again later.

I have a policy applied to all workstations which under Notifications > Storage is set to send a notification when a non-system partition has less than 25% (this value doesn't matter for now), however I have one workstation where I want to change this value. I can do this using the Pulseway manager, but this involves logging onto the computer to do it. When I change this setting via Pulseway Manager I can see that it adds an entry in the registry under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\HDDList - so in theory I could script this/do it remotely without interrupting the user to log onto their PC to set it, however I can't see where the Id0…

Hello to all, I currently have a problem to deploy the agent on a machine. I have activated the Administrator account on the machine, but nothing works. I created another administrator account but still this error: "We couldn't access the admin share (\systemName\admin$) on the target system." I would like to understand in order to be able to do a mass deployment in the future. Sincerely

Ok need to know how to not show the Pulseway manager after install. We cannot always install onsite and have issues with employees changing settings. Plus how do we change setting in the pulseway manager remotely, sadly manager has more power over the the monitoring system.

Good morning Pulseway team, I came across an issue that was a big oversight and I'm looking to find out if there is a way to not allow an end user to uninstall the Pulseway Manager. The story is I had an employee that was having issues with their computer. They assumed that it had to be the Pulseway Manager tool since he's convinced that ever since the tool has been installed he has had a much slower computer. The real reason was his in truck hotspot wasn't giving him the speeds as he was getting in the office... I am new to Pulseway, and have noticed that when I deploy manually by downloading the .msi and running as a local admin that the Pulseway Manager shortcuts get added to the desktop and the start menu. However, if I use a probe and deploy via mass deployment that the agent still gets deployed but without any shortcuts. Is there a way to replicate this behavior (no shortcuts) when running locally? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After receiving a verification on my phone I get this nasty gram. So far: .Net 4.0 install was blocked because a later version was already installed. So I don't think it is a .net version issue. Any help would be appreciated. --Tim I blocked out the server name to keep it annonymous I blocked out the server name to keep it anonymous. Also, please ignore the localhost:8443 page. Anyone have any insight on how to install PCMonitor on a provisioned Citrix XenApp 6.5 server? I have 10 application servers that I'd like to monitor. I can install PCm after the server boots, but I'd like to build it into the base image so I don't have to reinstall every time it reboots. Of course you can install it on the base image but every server that boots is a clone of the base so the unique identity isn't there. How can I make each server uniquely register itself from the base image on boot?

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue recently. Yesterday I installed Pulseway on 4 computers, installed and activated fine but after a restart they all showed offline and when I checked them the Pulseway service hadn't started. After an hour or so reinstalling and disabling other start-up apps I found that the only way to get it to start on a reboot was to set the service to Automatic-delayed start. This is obviously not a specific computer issue as it occurred on 4 different machines all installed one after the other, the only similarity is that they're all running Windows 10. I suppose it's possible that a recent Windows update or even a Pulseway up…

I would like to move away from using TeamViewer. LTT was just advertising Pulseway, I thought I would try it out. I installed the Remote Control Desktop client (6.6.3) and the Dashboard client (6.5.1), and proceeded to set up an organization, group, site, and policy. Then I downloaded the "Agent" client to the desktop I would like to be able to remote into. I installed, registered my product, assigned it to my group, and checked the "Enable Remote Control" box. I was under the impression this is all I had to do. Although both the Remote Control Desktop and Dashboard show the computer, I'm unable to "Start Remote Control Session". It's grayed out. Hello, I created a windows agent config file by exporting from an existing installation with the Remote Desktop module installed, but when I use that configuration with a fresh installation Remote Desktop module does not install. Is this normal? Is there something else that needs to be done to have the Remote Desktop module install automatically?

Hi there, We've recently set up Policies to use on all of our servers. We have nightly/weekly reboots on some of the servers within each group. We would like to know if there's a way to have Maintenance windows on a server level basis? Not all servers in a group are rebooted at the same time each week so we wouldn't want to miss any notifications. Thanks in advance
