  1. Hello My company manages several clients across several techs. Each tech needs to only see notifications for their client (clients are in their own Groups in PC Monitor) I know you can limit access to groups via Device but if you give a certain device no access to a group that device will still get notifications from the group. Is there a way of limiting notifications to only certain groups on the mobile app's? Cheers.

  2. Today I just downloaded and installed 32 bit debian Pulseway on a Linux (Ubuntu 12.04) machine. There is 12GB of memory installed and 1GB in use. In the Pulseway client (W8 Phone in this case, but I've seen it wrong in other clients) - the client shows 4GB installed and 3GB available. I have tried installing the 64 bit debian, but the Ubuntu installer says its the wrong architecture. Any ideas? Thanks, Richard

    I saw the email that came out today about remote desktop being add and in beta, but I tried this out but all it seems to do is just be an RDP session that needs port forwards open to work. What I'm seeing and what it looks like in the screenshot is two different things. I'm using the dashboard 4.5.2, is that right or am I missing something?

Hi Pulseway and fellow community, I'm trialling Pulseway on 5 PCs as a possible RMM deployment to 40-50 PCs soon, however Remote Desktop capability is the real decider as to whether or not we will go ahead. With Remote Desktop (Beta), I am able to establish connection with the PCs and open a remote session with no issues - however I am unable to keep the session open for longer than 30 secs-1 min before it freezes and completely drops the session. I am able to reestablish the session shortly after but again, it drops out after 30 seconds or so. Is anyone else experiencing these sorts of issues?     One of the systems I monitor is a Microsoft Surface Pro 3, which has both a forward- and a rear-facing webcam. When I use the Webcam function in Pulseway, it accesses the rear camera only. Is it possible to switch it to the front camera?

    Hello, I see a restart option but I don't see restart PC option in safe mode when I'm in details of one of the monitored computers (using my.pulseway.com). Does this feature exist or if not will it be implemented soon? Thank you, Serge

    In pulseway dahsboard (and other pulseway apps) The name of the computer that have a freshly installed pulseway agent will be shown in the pulseway apps. when i change the computername later on, how dows pulseway handle this? does it change in dahsboard? or does it keep the original name? thanks

    I have MegaRaid controller cards in several of my servers. On my Windows servers I can use an app called MegaRaid Manager that logs errors and other info to the application event log that Pulseway monitors for me wonderfully. However, on my Linux servers the app different, it is called StorCLI. I can get plenty of information from this and even have a log generated but I don't know how to get Pulseway configured to monitor it. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Aaron

  13. I had a conversation yesterday with Vick at Pulseway and discussed my solution to the problem of the Pulseway service not starting reliably 100 percent of the time. I always set the service to run delayed in Windows. I have had to do this with ScreenConnect as well. If I do not, every once in a while, on reboot, I will find the service not running. This is a real problem if I only had the remote built into Pulseway as my remote control, but I run ScreenConnect. What I find, is that Pulseway may not be working but ScreenConnect is running, or it works the other way. I would like to see an option on install of the agent, in the form of a radio button that I…

  15. Hi there, Is there a way to change access/notification settings for multiple associated accounts at once (like a bulk select)? I know I can bulk select machines, but this is still done at an individual account level. When we have multiple users (set up for auditing purposes), whenever we add a new system we have to go through each account and grant them access to it. Thanks again guys for all your work!

We have a server with a lot of brute force attacks RDP: 3389 SQL: 1433 We can see in event viewer two repeated events (failed loing attempts) eventID: 4625 Microsoft Windows Security Auditing eventID: 18456 MSSQLSERVER We want to receive a notification when we receive "5 o more" failed login attempts in RDP and SQL. Can we use "Pulseway Counters" or "Pulseway evenlog"? How?

  18. I notice that there are tickets coming from RMM events, such as offline statuses for servers where it takes up far more room than it should. Both the title and the description contain the same information: Only the first line is necessary in the title, or something like, "'MYSERVER' in group 'My Servers' is offline" with the full description within the ticket.

    I'm not going to say what I really am feeling about this product right now because "my content will need to be approved by a moderator". But I am baffled by this company at the moment. I recently renewed for another year and the invoice does not match the amount my card was charged. It's only a few dollars different but accountants are sticklers and in order for me to submit my credit card statement to accounts payable I need an ACCURATE invoice.   22. Hi, I'm using Pulseway for personal use currently with the free plan. I'm able to remotely boot my PC from my phone on the same network, but not on my phone outside of the network or on my laptop at home and not. I don't know what I've done wrong, could you look at the pictures below to see if everything is configured correctly? Could anyone help me diagnose and fix this problem? Thanks.

    Hi All, I tried to search the forum/site for an answer to this so please forgive me if I missed it. Can anyone explain the difference between the Pro and Team versions of Pulseway. I near as I can figure the Pro version does everything I need. My set-up is a simple 10 system small business set-up. I don't require any 3rd party services like Connectwise, AV or backups, etc. So what else does the Team version offer that the Pro does not? Thanks, David

    Is it possible to run a simple inventory report. I'd like a report that shows endpoints for each client with some basic data like the Assets Overview Report or the Executive Summary Report, but broken down by client. These reports work great if you run one for each client, but if WE want a summary of ALL the systems we manage they get jumbled bu issue, or sorted by username.
