A few days ago the agent stopped working. When I try to run Pulseway Manager I get an error (see attached PW1), trying to uninstall also gives me an error (see PW2). Trying to install on top of the current software also gives me an error.. I am stuck, unable to use or fix the agent.. Windows 10 64bit

Can someone tell me why this script works locally from the server but not from Pulseway. I've tested running the script both with impersonation enabled and disabled. Both tests were done on server 2012 R2. One with default Powershell version and one with 5.1. This script runs perfectly fine from the server itself just not through pulseway. I have several scripts that give the same type of error. I'd appreciate any help so I can figure this out. It seems like Pulseway doesn't like certain characters? I was listing the build numbers of all the Exchange servers with help of the Installed Applications feature, and noticed that the build number is not correct. It only shows the build number of the exchange server without any update rollups. According to this table: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/240.exchange-server-and-update-rollups-build-numbers.aspx the build number should change whenever a update rollup is installed. Is there a way to get the correct current build number of the Exchange server?

Hello everybody A monitored server was offline in Dashboard all the time. Tried to reinstall --> no change. Delete device from dashboard and reinstalled again. Device is activated and even connected to, (Test notifications and validating account is working to.) But it still doesn't appears in Dashboard or mobile app and so we aren't able to perform any action on this device. I'm running PC Monitor and all is well. Except for the fact that it seems to be locking files at OS level. Mainly when I'm running my VirtualBox image with a raw disk I get the following error: Failed to open image: '<filename>' for writing due to wrong permissions (ERR_VD_IMAGE_READ_ONLY). I have found that disabling the PC Monitor service will let me start the VirtualBox image correctly. I have tried this several times. Therefore I can only conclude that PC Monitor is blocking the write mode. However I'm not sure whether it is the vmdk file or the physical disk itself that is locked by PC Monitor. One of my servers goes offline ramdomly (twice today, one yesterday). I installed Pc Monitor yesterday, I'm a new account. Hello We have a dedicated controller at Pulseway. We have a couple of Windows Servers but one has showed itself as offline since yesterday. The Windows Server itself is up and running fine and the Pulseway service is running. Hi, My motherboard has 6 fan headers, bit only 2 are listed in PC Monitor... Fan 1 and Fan 3 respectively. It also has quite a few Temperature sensors but again only showing a few of them. This used to show pretty much everything on previous versions, so not sure what has changed. I have reinstalled Windows 7 64bit Ent, but is still the same. Is there anything I can do to check the sensors are being picked up correctly, registry entries perhaps? Failing this, is it possible to download earlier versions that seeme to be more compatible with my Motherboard? I love this application, it really does help... So thank you! I'm currently running Pulseway OnPrem (7.0.0 build 120 release 283), and I'm using Pulseway Remote Control (6.6.3). The issue I have experienced is that the remote control notification doesn't always show up on the client when I attempt to remote control a session. We have 150+ computers in our environment and sometimes it works fine, and sometimes it doesn't, and the different behavior can even occur on the same machine from time to time. Pulseway is configured to automatically allow the remote session if no one accept (or deny) the request within a minute, and I have noticed that even if the notification doesn't show up, the connection will still be es…

Hey guys, I'm having this problem since a few hours ago. (5 to be precise). The dashboard and the mobile app notified me that one of the servers is offline. Went to check on it and it was fully operational, even though PcMonitor was saying otherwise. I tried restarting the daemon but no change. 3 of the server cores are at 100%. Here is a screenshot from my webmin running processes. if I run /etc/init.d/pcmonitor stop , the daemon is still running and the dashboard receives a "server shutting down" notification. Hello, I have found that running chocolatey install or uninstall commands via Powershell through the webapp results in the client showing "offline" in Pulseway. I have experienced this with Windows 7 Professional and Windows 10 Enterprise. After checking the system I dont see any errors in the Application or systems logs and the Pulseway service is still running. I used a command like this "choco install skype -y" which should just install the skype package from the chocolatey repository. After restarting the pulseway service on the client it appears online again, but for me this is quite a problem since I update third party packages via remote powershell and chocola…

I was looking forward to this feature as it really would help with troubleshooting etc. But so far I have only been able to get it to work once and on one PC. I've enabled it and everything else is working but when I press 'Screen' I get a lot of twirling circles for about 30 seconds then: 'Screen Error - Unknown error' Otherwise great product which I'm happy to be paying for.

I reckon that with 4.7.4 the remote desktop is final? i can see in manage devices that all my clients is up to date, and i am trying to remote desktop to some windows xp machines (that are on the road) but i get the error: The agent remote desktop libraries are not up to date, please update them to the latest version. i have tried all my XP installations, both virtual and physical, and i cant connect to either f them, they all respond with the same error. what do you suggest i should do now? thanks.

The PC Monitor agent does not start automatically after it is installed. You've agreed elsewhere that PC Monitor installation isn't yet enterprise-friendly, but the impact of this is that even after installing by GPSI, we have to come up with a method to launch the service. If it's a bug, fixing it would be one step closer to being enterprise-ready. If this is by design, is there a way to make the service launch with an MST file?

I've been trying to automate as many of my maintenance tasks as possible with Pulseway, but I've noticed that the scheduled start time does not correspond with the actual start time. It's not consistent though, so it doesn't appear to be a time zone issue. 6.0 dropped for me this morning. I hate it and I tell you why. After going through the painstaking process of setting up my Organizations, Sites and Group, I am left with no endpoints visible. The only place I can find them is under Systems > Systems (this needs to be reworded as it is redundant - maybe Systems > Endpoints OR Endpoints > Systems, your welcome for that tip), anyway, while under that location I can see all my endpoints but they are ALL in the wrong location with no way that I can see to move them to where they should be. I have a Windows computer in my closet that serves up a Plex media server. For months I have been able to use PC monitor to wake and sleep the computer without incident. Within the last week, The iOS app will not sleep the computer. What is strange is the only think I have to do is remote desktop in to the computer. Then I can tap "Suspend" in the ios app and the computer sleeps. This doesn't make any sense. It's not like I have to restart the service. These are the exact steps. First off, I wanted to thank you for bringing the remote desktop feature to Pulseway. I can't wait to put it to work to my job much easier! I just wanted to let you know about this issue in case it is only my setup. The remote connection works great except that my keyboard doesn't work. If this is a known issue, I will patiently wait for the next release. If not, I would be more than willing to assist in any troubleshooting. Thanks for a great product! Matt

In this system, (all Win 6.1) we redirect ALL possible folders, including Start Menu. It appears that the PC Monitor Start Menu shortcut is machine specific. When I launch PC Monitor from the shortcut on any machine other than the one on which the shortcut was originally installed, I get this error: [Window Title] Problem with Shortcut [Content] The parameter is incorrect. [OK] I suspect the same problem will occur if you DON'T redirect folders but DO use roaming profiles...but I haven't tested that. Probably the best and easiest fix: Install the shortcut to the All Users Start Menu.

I can't seem to update any agent settings remotely anymore. I normally use Dashboard to edit an agent's config and change the computer name as needed (hire/term). As of about a week ago, this no longer works. The agent config screen comes up normally after right clicking in Dashboard and choosing edit computer settings, lets me make my changes, and then gives the standard "this may take 30 secs" message when saving. But nothing happens, no update. If I go back in and look at the settings again the modifications are not there. This also happens with Pulseway Manager under Manage Systems. I don't see a way to update agent settings using the WebApp. I have not up…
