Hello, I created a windows agent config file by exporting from an existing installation with the Remote Desktop module installed, but when I use that configuration with a fresh installation Remote Desktop module does not install. Is this normal? Is there something else that needs to be done to have the Remote Desktop module install automatically?

Hello we have a PC that has been showing offline for over 3 weeks now even though its is on, i assumed there was a problem with PC monitor and follwoing other posts on this forum decided it may be best to uninstall and reinstall but when i try to uninstall from Add/Remove Programs i recieve the following error and it will not uninstall; Error 1001. Unable to get installer types in the C:\Programs Files\PC Monitor\PCMonitorSrv.exe assembley. --> Unable to load one or more of the requested types, Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property for more information. This system is a Windows 7 32bit Any Help would be appreciated.

I am getting this error on the latest release (2.8). I have tried restarting and reinstalls with no success. I have been using PC Monitor for almost a ~year and this has only started recently.

I recently upgraded my system from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro and the service for PW ("PC Monitor" to be specific) no longer starts on its own. I have a backup of starting the service manually if it is not running each time I log in or every morning if system is already logged in. Another issue with Windows 10 is the UAC for starting services which is another issue all together. Why is the service no longer able to start on its own. I can go into the services.msc and start it manually.

Hi, so I'm a little confused. The Pulseway app on my phone allows me to run "built in" automated scripts. I cannot find anything about them in the manual or in the forum. So my question is where are they and how do we create new ones? im currently looking to run power she'll scripts but if the app has built in scripts then that might be the way to go. thank you tony

I have used PC Monitor for a couple of days now and ran into two problems: The first is that if I restart the computer using PC Monitor the PC Monitor shell is being loaded but not the 'Service'. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue recently. Yesterday I installed Pulseway on 4 computers, installed and activated fine but after a restart they all showed offline and when I checked them the Pulseway service hadn't started. After an hour or so reinstalling and disabling other start-up apps I found that the only way to get it to start on a reboot was to set the service to Automatic-delayed start. This is obviously not a specific computer issue as it occurred on 4 different machines all installed one after the other, the only similarity is that they're all running Windows 10. G'Day, I've just configured Wake on LAN for one of my machines and it is working well. I'm thinking of setting it up for another machine but I am wondering what port should be used. For the first machine I am using the default port 9 but what do I use for the second machine? I'm tempted to just try port 10 but I don't want to go using a port that I shouldn't be using. David.

Hello, I was having an issue install the Kaspersky Anti-Virus on a machine, and decided to try uninstalling Pulseway from the system. I uninstalled the program, and deleted the service using the sc delete "PC Monitor" command under an administrator account. The issue I am having, is the re-installation fails, and hangs on the "scheduled tasks" portion of the initialization wizard (the part before the pc monitor panel comes up). After the installer crashes, it still shows the application as "installed" for the user, and most things work on the machine. (remote desktop does not from the pulseway dashboard). Hi When i try to validate my account, i get the following error: I tried to connect to this server via telnet, and i didn't get any error. I also restartet the pc monitor service, but the error remains. PC Monitor lost connection today at 01:37am. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks and regards Simon

I'm reasonably new to PW. I've just on-boarded 50 endpoints, and it automatically monitors Automatic services. That great, but Services like Bio-metric and Remote Registry; whilst configured as automatic, aren't always started.. So constant notifications. I know how to remove the service monitor, but is there an easy way to exclude certain services from being monitored globally?

My desktop has been running pc monitor for close to a year now. Suddenly it stopped working. My laptop is a clean build, never installed pc monitor. Both give me the same error on clicking Validate Account, or any other button inside the manager. "An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for system.serviceModel/client: Invalid access to memory location. Hi, recently my PC upgrade from Win8.1 Pro to Win10 Pro. ALL working fine execpt Pulseway service cannot start Automatic at start up. As per advise of support, i changed to Automic Delay and it works now. However, Remote Wake Up to my PC is NOT working at all. Anyone can help on this matter? Is there anyway to configure powershell impersonation remotely? I am trying to run a few different powershell scripts and I'm getting access denied. I assume BC it's running as system.
