Someone changed the windows password for the local administrator account on a stand alone machine and decided to not write it down!!! Luckily I had my fantastic PCMonitor installed! I tried doing this using dsmod and going crazy trying to find it then looked into powershell but both were very difficult to use to do this and did not work. Again this is a local account and not in AD. Then I tried the following at the command shell: net user administrator Password1 and the password was changed! It would be nice if we could have an interface to change user passwords though... :-)

Hi, wondering if anyone else if having this issue. I monitor ~34 servers and for the last 2 days, they have been randomly showing as offline. They are still up and the Pulseway service/software is running. On the Pulseway dashboard it keeps dropping servers off the screen and then they reappear and the complete list is never there now. A number of servers have the blinking "Offline Since xx days ago" but are not going red, some are. Reflects the same on my Android (Droid Maxx) phone. From "netbios -b -f", I noticed that the PCMonitorSrv.exe process, which is use by Pulseway, is making connection with random ports to random IP. What are these for? Hi, I have an error message when try to connect the systems behind a Corporate firewall. (see message capture). But, any system that has public IP, it works perfect. Do I need to open specific port for this service at firewall? or allow traffic from specific network? Thanks

Hello, When I attempt to start a remote desktop session (from Desktop Client) I receive an error dialog with the message "An error occured while trying to start the remote desktop session" (spelling as per dialog). This is after I select the user session from the list and occurs whether there is a user logged into the computer or not. The target computer is Windows 10, running agent version 4.8 and it has been rebooted since installing the agent. I'm currently trialing Pulseway through the SaaS offering. Have been using Labtech for a few years but it's becoming way to expensive and are looking for options, I know right off the bat no matter where we go we'll be probably losing a lot of features. But some features we don't use. Some questions.. 1.In house server reliability with regards to the software itself. Is the in-house implementation reliable? We are currently discussing rolling out a monitoring/management system on our network, so far the runner is N-Able and Pulseway. I like Pulseway for its easy and clean interface, but it lacks some functions that N-Able has, and we need! We plan to use it inside a NOC, to monitor the netwerk realtime, is this possible with Pulseway? I have a trial setup through one of the distribitors, but i'm still not really convinced. Hi, First time posting here; been using Pulseway for years without issue. Recently, however, I am seeing a number of issues with the wake up command. Neither the web interface, nor my app (android, Galaxy s7 edge) while on cellular connection works resulting in a 'wake up command failed' message. To further complicate the issue, I can only get the wake up command to work over wifi as long as I'm on my home network. Until recently, it worked over the internet, which is desired. Hi. I would like to start sending my clients a report to show that monitoring is taking place and updates applied etc. Does anyone have recommendations on what to send. I've requested a trial and I just configured a server. I'm using mycompanyname.pulseway.com. I've configured a mail server under server admin > settings > email and the test email is getting delivered but no notifications at my mailaddress. Did I miss something ?

Our technical support AD credentials have changed passwords and now we are getting hundreds of machines trying to login with the configured AD account PowerShell User Impersonation credentials…locking the technician accounts. These machines are spread out at 19 separate locations and over 600 miles, at remote locations. How do we remotely modify the Runtime PowerShell user credentials on those machines? I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, but it absorbs the previous configuration…including the former PowerShell User credentials….I also tried calling tech support but was sent to voicemail. So this is strange, new Pulseway PRO account, 13 PC's being monitored Have configured a policy with notifications enabled for all sorts of things Have added the policy to all organisations and can see it inherited down to the PC's However nothing is being generated, no login notifications, no disk space notification ( I have a server with 6% space that should be triggering) no patching notifications, nothing! Hi all, I hope you're having a great day and are keeping safe. I'm having an issue with setting up email notifications via SMTP to Office365. I've followed the document on setting Pulseway up to talk with Office365. I've also been in touch with support on this and haven't been satisfied with their answer. Have any of you linked this up successfully? If so, which IP addresses do you have whitelisted? Is there anything obvious I'm missing? I've set up a relay and can't see any attempt at mail delivery via 365. Cheers! Joe

I have just noticed that I get a success event and email sent when the backup only partially works. I am using Windows server backup and backup 2 vitual servers from the host. If the backup manages to backup just one of the VMs but the other fails I am still sent success info. I do get failed if the entire backup fails but getting a success when it has not properly backed up is a bit of a problem tbh. Any fixes or workarounds?
