Dear All, I'm having some trouble trying to run Windows Powershell commands via PC Monitor (Android App). When I send any command, I get back the following message: "An error occurred when loading the system Windows PowerShell Snap-Ins. Please contact Microsoft Support Services." This is displayed in the PowerShell terminal window inside the PC Monitor app. Has anyone seen this problem before? Or have any ideas how to fix it? I'm running: - one Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 machine. - one Windows 7 Starter machine. I get exactly the same error message when attempting to send commands to both machines. They both have the .NET framework that c…

Hello, We are long-term Pulseway customers but lately the Pulseway client has developed a bug and continuously uses up to 20%+ CPU utilisation. We logged this with Pulseway on the 4th of July this year but they have been completely ignoring the ticket. I regularly reply to the email thread for an update (at least once a week) but I am ignored. The only time I had a meaningful response was when I threatened to cancel our subscription. This was short lived and now I am back to being ignored with no status updates on my ticket. We like the product but we have a handful of servers with this bug and I am simply installing other monitoring products on them. Today…

Hi, First time posting here; been using Pulseway for years without issue. Recently, however, I am seeing a number of issues with the wake up command. Neither the web interface, nor my app (android, Galaxy s7 edge) while on cellular connection works resulting in a 'wake up command failed' message. To further complicate the issue, I can only get the wake up command to work over wifi as long as I'm on my home network. Until recently, it worked over the internet, which is desired. I've looked at all my settings & configurations, but everything seems to be as it was. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it, particularly troubleshooting WOL over 4G fail…

Hi, Has there been any discussion on whether its possible to use Pulseway to prevent devices from upgrading to W11? I can't find anything in the forums. Is anyone using pulseway to manage this update and if so how are you going about it? We're on day 1 of considering this so way behind where we need to be. We have a large proportion registered in intune so we can manage those devices in there. But we also have a lot of standalone devices and pulseway may be our best bet. thanks

Hi, I did a search and this topic has not been asked before. Anyway, what is the difference between shutdown and power off options on PC Monitor? Aren't they the same? I always use the Shutdown option. I haven' t tried the Power off option. If I choose the Power off option, will I still be able to turn on the computer remotely. I know I can with the Shutdown option but how about the Power off option. Regards, Elos

Hello, I have been using the (PC Monitor) Pulseway Remote Desktop on my machine for quite awhile. I decided to uninstall the old pc monitor client to replace with the pulseway, after that I could use the remote desktop anymore. Getting this error; I noticed the file; pcmrdp-agent.dll is missing. I tried forcing the client to update but no luck. All the others pc I have runs Windows 7 they all have the file but not Windows 8.1. When trying adding a file in to the folder I get access denied even tho I'm the admin. So there a easy way to get this fixed?

On one of my machines, an SBS 2008 box, PCMonitorSrv.exe (2.4.1) takes about 30% CPU, while a SVCHOST.EXE instance that appears to be related to it takes about 20%. The SVCHOST instance stops with the PCMonitorSvc, so I'm assuming they're related. When the service is started, it runs 0-5% for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours; then jumps to 50% (total of the 2 services). To my knowledge, this is the only machine (of 10 so far) that does this; at least it's the only one I've noticed. I'm in the process of adding a "Service" Notification on the other 9 to alert me if the service uses > 10% CPU for > 3 minutes to see how widespread it is. I've restart…

Hello, I'm trying to find where to run an uptime / downtime report or get some type of history (graphed would be excellent). I assume I'm just missing it somewhere, seems like a pretty fundamental feature of RMM. Thanks!

I am using pulseway to monitor many different machines mostly Linux and windows. The windows service notifications if pretty user friendly, however I am having trouble getting my Linux machines configured to alert me when a service goes down. Can I get some guidance please? I am using Debian Jessie. I am trying to monitor when the Freeswitch service stops I have tried editing the config.xml not sure if I am entering the correct information, however. thanks.

Hi, I only found out about this today when I saw it in the App Store and I'm impressed. Set this up initially for home use and may subscribe to manage all my PC's After finding out more I am also interested in seeing if I could use this for work too as it would make everything so much easier. Now here comes the question... Can the dashboard and mobile app handle multiple accounts one for personal and one for enterprise? If not, will there be plans to allow users to do this? Thanks Vinny

I have been running pulseway/pc monitor for a few years. Recently the service stopped running. I tried a full re-install but it did no work. I try to start the service through the manager - it shows it starts, then a minute or so later shows its off. I have attached the tracelog. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, One of my Windows PC's went down for a disk controller error. One time it restarted and another time it shut down. Checking the windows logs I found the disk controller error event and the Kernel-Power event (both in System log event). I trapped the events in PC Monitor but when all this happened again the only alert from PC Monitor was for the disk controller event but nothing for Kernel-Power. Just to understand. If a windows machine goes down windows has just the right time to log the event but I guess PC Monitor has not got time to alert. If this is right I guess I can't trap the Kernel-Power event. Thanks Daniele

Hi, I've tried to install the PC Monitor service on a Windows 2003 Server machine. The service starts and stops again. In the trace.log the information below is produced. It would be awesome if the email parser went a little deeper. Sometimes a client emails us directly and we forward that email to Pulseway to open a ticket. The problem with this is that it opens the ticket using our company as the client. It would be great if we could get the parser to look in the email headers to find the address that the email originated from and use THAT to assign and client and user to the ticket. There are other ticket systems that do this. Alternatively (though not as elegant), It would also work to put a flag in the subject line like "@CLIENTNAME" to get the email assigned to the client. Is there a way to do this with workflow…

I just installed PC Monitor on a Windows XP SP3 PC (nothing special about it - fully up to date). All I get is "unknown connection error" when trying to access it using iPhone 3Gs. Is there some Port Forwarding I should be doing? There is no Firewall blocking, or AV software. Thanks for any/all help.
