Is there any way to create an automatic - daily or weekly - report listing a particular type of notification? In my case, I'd like to report the ping notifications which I use to check connectivity of remote equipment. I see how to save them as csv files, but that needs you to remember to do it regularly and assumes that no-one has deleted the notifications.

Hi This morning all of my servers went through patching critical updates - the policy says install critical updates and reboot if necessary. When I checked the policy listed "updates marked important, no updates installed" but the machines all rebooted? - That seems weird to me as I would not expect and also do not want a reboot if no updates are installed. Is that a normal behavior?

If I make a change to a policy those changes are not getting applied to the end servers. I have double checked that the correct policy is applied to the correct server under the configuration tab. Any ideas

Its not very well documented but the following will work for removing Pulseway via the terminal tool in the Webapp. (note this is actually several commands strung together in one line) sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.pulseway.PulsewayHelper.plist && launchctl unload /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.pulseway.PulsewayHelper && launchctl unload /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.pulseway.PulsewayCommandHelper && rm -v /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.pulseway.Pulseway*

Dear Pulseway Support, At one of our customers we accidently clicked on "Disable Pulseway User Agent (pcmontask.exe). From this moment we aren't able anymore to remote access the PC. Now we need to ask the customer to 'Enable' it, but I'm hoping that something else is possible, to enable it somehow from remote (via PowerShell -> Registry)?

Now that Pulseway has the ability to roll out Win 10 Feature updates, how do you configure the rules to allow for it? I have attached my rule, I know it is wrong, how do I adjust it to allow my 1909 machines to update to 20H2? Any help would me much appreciated. Thx

Regarding the following in the recent security response statement: At what point with 2FA be required when adding or modifying scripts? We will be prompted when saving a script, or will the upcoming change jus check that MFA is enabled on the account that is updating the script? In relation to this, are there any plans to integrate Azure AD SSO into Pulseway? (appreciate it has pro's and con's in regards to security)

Pulseway Client Portal now includes a built-in chat function that allows the end user to communicate directly with a technician. This can be started automatically as a step in a troubleshooter, or you can give users the option to start it directly themselves. A summary of the chat is recorded and can be sent to the technician. Automation Workflows: Run assigned patch policy Start patching systems as they get added to Pulseway using the new Run Assigned Patch Policy action, now available for the System Registered workflow trigger. So, I'm currently dealing with a pretty urgent issue that unfortunately, I am at the mercy of whenever the devs look into it. None of my tasks will run which means I'm dead in the water for a lot of my custom automation. This is terrible. I assume based on talks with staff over time, that these are something like VPS instances that area spun up? I asked regular Support to reboot my instance for the sake of it as scripts run, but tasks to control them do not, they just immediately say skipped. It's amazing what reboot can fix at times, and then Support can dig in later to figure out what happened, if the reboot works. But I was told no can do, only devs have ac…

The latest version of the remote control app, no longer requires elevation when it's launched in a directory where the local user has full access to. New installations will also be placed in the Application Data folder by default for the current user, eliminating the need of elevation.

Hello. I no longer need to monitor the 6 systems I was monitoring. I've deleted them from the Web app's Account / Manage Systems section, is that all I need to do? The subscription is valid until June 2022, can I get a refund for the time not used?

Hey all, Is there a way to allow a user to move devices between groups without giving them full administrator? The way we have been moving machines is by going to the server admin tab and moving through there. Im trying to more granularly manage permissions within our org for the helpdesk. Thank you in advance!

This is becoming a growing issue for us, to the point where I'm actively looking for alternative solutions. Remote control works great for Windows computers. But for Mac OS...not at all really. Maybe 1 out of 10 times will I actually be able to connect to the Mac. And even then, oftentimes my mouse wont actually be on the remote screen where it shows up on my side. I just don't know what else to try.

Is there a way to automatically tag computers that have been offline for a certain length of time? If so, would it be possible to remove them so I don't have to scroll through each list?

Hi Folks, Been noticing this on a test machine for the last few days and just had a client email about it. When starting Firefox v94.0.1, you get a popup notification saying to Upgrade or Dismiss. Checking the Mozilla releases there is a new minor release, V94.0.2. Not a major update for sure but I don't like the idea of Clients receiving Update notifications and having to make decisions on what to do, that's my job. Is there a way to turn off update notifications for 3rd Party Patching? Thanks, Craig

Is there a powershell script that can scan local computers for the log4j vulnerability? If not, does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this via the Pulseway agents?

Windows Service Monitoring can now be configured directly in the Web Application, within Endpoint Policies, accessible using the NEW Monitored Service category. In addition, a new Monitored Services section has been added to the Services feature page when working with an online System, providing a distinction of general Service information and those Services being actively monitored.

Due to an issue this month with the Windows updates on some domain controllers I would like to pause (skip) the scheduled updates I have set in Pulsway this month. I assume I could just change the scheduled time to next month but would be way simpler to just be able to click pause. Is there a pause option? Do i need to change the scheduled time of the update or is there a better way? Cheers :-)

Hi, I have a Pulseway free account. Recently I added a new user account to my main Windows 11 PC. This PC has two users with the Pulseway application installed on both. I also have another system being used as a home media server and this has Pulseway installed. For some reason, Pulseway thinks I have three registered systems on my account even though the account itself only shows two systems. Please could someone explain why this is happening. Is this a bug?

We are busy setting up the integration between Pulseway and Autotask. When signed into the server, opening Pulseway Manager 8.50, and going to Settings>Autotask we can enable the Autotask integration and enter the credentials for the account. After that the Account and Queue dropdowns become available with the company and the queue that the tickets needs to go to and this works as expected. With the amount of servers that we manage we want to roll this setting out using endpoint policies. We go to the webapp, create a policy, go to other settings, select Autotask. After we entered the same credentials as we did in Pulseway Manager the dropdown menu's don't…
