Is there a way to configure Pulseway to only send email notifications on critical alerts? I've had a look through the account settings and the agent but can't find anything immediately obvious....could someone point me in the right direction?

Hey guys, i'm having an issue or 2 with a laptop i'm administrating in a Nursing home its a Lenovo ThinkPad X131e (3369) I3 4GB and 500GB hdd (80%free) Webcam: The webcam will only take one shot and then will stop responding to commands, on the PC client it will work fine the 1st shot after a reboot. If you then attempt another shot a few hours latter it thinks about it for less then 5 seconds then displays Data Not Available. on the Android client (Samsung S3) it takes 2 or 3 seconds then just black, don't have an iOS device It has always been like this, since setup 4 weeks ago... I saw the email that came out today about remote desktop being add and in beta, but I tried this out but all it seems to do is just be an RDP session that needs port forwards open to work. What I'm seeing and what it looks like in the screenshot is two different things. I'm using the dashboard 4.5.2, is that right or am I missing something?

Hello, When examining a connected computer under New Systems (Beta)/Systems/<Machine Name>/Printers I can only see "local" printers (Send to Onenote, XPS writer and Fax). The network attached printer (shared from a local server) cannot be seen. Is this by design or a yet to be implemented feature? Appreciate your time in reply.

Is there a way to kick off an automated task based on a notification or alert. For Example, if we get a notification of a disk getting full, I would want the automation to run: <Open a ticket>--> <add predetermined note>--> <add 15 minutes>--><run task to clean drive>--><send notification that task has completed>--><close ticket> Is this possible now, or should this be a feature request? So, Wake on Lan seems to work as my machine wakes up (being sent from iPhone, outside of network). However, I still get a "failure" notice and then my machine wakes up. Is this a bug, or something else I may have configured wrong. I did change the port from the default "9" to something else in your system settings. Is it possibly also trying to ping old port settings? Just want to make sure my installation is secure. Thanks.

I hope I am in the right Subforum to ask this question. I recently started to use Pulseway and am impressed what I am able to do with it but I noticed one feature missing that I need. Is it possible with Pulseway to check Servers/Clients with log files for backups if they have been successful or failed? For example if there is a NAS connected to a network and someone is doing a USB Backup on it I want to check if it has failed so I will get a notification when it fails. I want to use it on Windows and Linux machines so my best guess is to use a script of somekind right?

I was on a trial for the past 30 days and now that its over i want to buy a subscription. When i sign into the account it says its not active. How do i get my account active so i can buy a subscription? Thanks!

Last night i setup my pc and my pc monitor android app to work over the internet and 3g. Last nite it worked flawlessly but this morning it would not wake up my home pc. I kept getting network offline error. I came home from work, booted up my pc and boom! it worked. Why is it inconsistent? I have port 9 udp forwared an im running windowd 7 ultimate with a netopia 3347-02 router/modem with att dsl. I am also using a dyndns static ip updater as well. Thanks for any help

I have MegaRaid controller cards in several of my servers. On my Windows servers I can use an app called MegaRaid Manager that logs errors and other info to the application event log that Pulseway monitors for me wonderfully. However, on my Linux servers the app different, it is called StorCLI. I can get plenty of information from this and even have a log generated but I don't know how to get Pulseway configured to monitor it. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Aaron

We've got a bout 30 Pulseway clients showing as offline as of 1 hour ago. They all still have internet access as our remote control software is working. Any issues with the Pulseway servers at your end?

I am new to SNMP and I'm having a little trouble getting set up. I understand that SNMP works by trapping signals sent from the Agent and they are sent to the Master. I don't see any 'trapping" in the Pulseway set up. I have successfully discovered a test device and have been able to pull up the MIB/OID list. This list however makes very little sense to me as it doesn't explain what I am trying to monitor. Could somebody give me some depth in this subject. What is Pulseway monitoring exactly? How do i determine what the OID is? Is there any trapping actually going on? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks, Aaron

Hi, Is it possible to execute / run .msi files via the web or iphone app? I have a new machine with PC Monitor installed and now I need remote access to the machine. We use ScreenConnect and I have the .msi installer file on the remote PC but now need it to run to install it. This is a remote PC with no one at the site to run the installer fo rme. Happy to report that PC Monitor Dashboard 2.7 can be installed as an "External App", and 90% works. The 10% that doesn't is the menu bar. But I don't use the menu bar in Dashboard much after it's installed, so that works for me. Hi All, I tried to search the forum/site for an answer to this so please forgive me if I missed it. Can anyone explain the difference between the Pro and Team versions of Pulseway. I near as I can figure the Pro version does everything I need. My set-up is a simple 10 system small business set-up. I don't require any 3rd party services like Connectwise, AV or backups, etc. So what else does the Team version offer that the Pro does not? Thanks, David

I am having trouble connecting to workstations via the dashboard, as well as the remote desktop application. Getting error "The agent failed to start the rd session."

Hi All, I can see pulseway can do a ping but this appears to be a continuous thing. I'd like to do a ping every X minutes or hours and then alert if latency is greater than X ms. Is there a way to do this? Cheers,

Hi, Ive been reading a few topics and seen that the free limit used to be up to 5 computers, I don't have much intention of having more but could do with being able to link up to all 5 is this possible to do with out having to buy a subscription every year? im not using them for business just personal use should that make any difference. I have several agents that will not send user login and logoff notifications. It will send other notifications.

Perhaps I am just missing it, but how would I go about changing my accoutn password, contact email, and other profile info. When I go to http://pulseway.com/ and then log into 'My Computers' I can click on 'Manage Account' but I cannot find a way to change any of my information. Any help with account issues would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
