When I register a new computer on my account, I find an additional (duplicate) entry in the list of computers. In this case, I added a 5th computer to my free account, and now I get a notification that I have registered 6 computers.

I'm trying to email myself a file from another PC managed with pulseway, but even though I set up the SMTP server in the dashboard (and send a test email, confirmed it is working), the option to email a file on the android and web apps do not appear. I've tested this on two PCs and both have this issue. My account is a free account, so I'm wondering if this was moved to a premium only feature? If it did, are there any alternatives to somehow getting a file from a managed PC to my android phone?

When selecting the End User Accounts page, the page previously showed me a single test account to set up our support portal. When i load the page now, i get the following error: The same error occurs when creating a new account.

I was attempting to create a task on Pulseway, and got an error after attempting to save / publish the task. I am using the current version of Google Chrome. Something went wrong. The formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message: There was an error while trying to deserialize parameter https://webapp.pulseway.com:parameters. The InnerException message was 'Error in line 1 position 1046. 'Element' 'ScopeName' from namespace 'http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/MM.Monitor.Types' is not expected. My PC does not show up as online any more. When i press the Validate Account button in the PC application i get this error box "Error: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed." I have restarted the service and the PC, but i doesn't solve the problem. I do have access to the internet via cable and sharing a wireless hotspot for my mobile phone. Any ideas?

Hello, I've setup the event log filter on a few hosts on my network to log bad logon events. It works sometimes which is weird .. it seems to be completely random when I do and don't receive the alerts and notifications. Sometimes they go through just fine, other times I can try to enter a bad password 10 times (to test) and receive nothing. Under event log filter here is what I have: Event Logs: Security Level: Audit Failure Event IDs: 4625, 529, 530, 531, 532, 533, 534, 535, 536, 537 Notification Priority: Elevated Any ideas? thanks!

I'm trying to help a user who reported some issues, and I need to see the system logs. Every time I click, after about 15 seconds, I see the error: Data not available. At the same time, I'm able to see the Application log, however, Security log also returns this error. To my knowledge it only happens on one PC, I can access logs on all other PCs I checked. Let me know if I need to provide any additional info.

Hi, I have noticed with a few of our systems that the event notifications are no longer being sent, I have checked through the event logs on the specific computers and can see the monitored event occur however cannot see an event entry from Pulseway that it has sent the notification. I have not done much more testing other than tweaking the event details to see if it is something within the specific event. Regards, Michael

Hello, When trying to install the Pulseway manager 4.8.2 today on a number of PC's and received the following error: The formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message. .... I'm new to Pulseway, having just installed an Enterprise Server instance (version 4.8) so am unsure whether this is a bug, or a deployment or newbie issue. I only just noticed that the agent version on your website is 4.8.2 and I'm assuming that our server is 4.8, given that I can still install the 4.8 agent without error. Our fleet are experiencing issues with high memory usage. I believe this is due to Pulseway creating an excessive amount of handles (Named pipes). Attached are some screenshots. Please refer to the "Handles" columns. I have used Process Explorer to look at the handles and 99%are all NamedPipe (please see bottom section of attached screenshot labelled Process Explorer). We have around 100 computers with this problem. Restarting will allow them to use the computer for a while until it builds up again.

I used the pulseway management system to push out Kaspersky to a few desktops for testing, some of the installationsfailed because of 'kaspersky endpoint security is not compatible with the network agent lower than 10.0' on some desktops. Pulseway only gives the option to 'reboot' when this occurs. If you then try installing Bitdefender (which I bought with our desktop licenses), it installs correctly, updates and then magically vanishes like it was never installed after a few minutes of running. Hi - Since upgrading my laptop from 2.5 to 2.6.1 beta and then 2.6.2 beta, I'm finding my HP laptop's fan(s) are permanently stuck on full - even after a reboot I've gone now gone back to 2.5 to see if this fixes it -Tom

I recently starting using Pulseway to monitor my Ubuntu server and set it up to monitor several processes (SSH, Mosh, Calibre Web Server, Plex, etc.). For some reason, I get multiple messages a day stating that one or more of the monitored processes have stopped. However, I know these messages are false because, often, I will be using the service. For example, I will be currently SSH'ed into the machine (using Mosh) and have the Calibre Web Interface up as well, and will get a message saying either or both of the services have stopped. Has anyone had this happen before? If so, is there anything I can do to make the monitoring more reliable?

This is more of an oddity than anything else, but it appears the group notification counter on the Windows 8 App doesn't work. One group shows six notifications on the group screen, but counting manually from the computers I only count five. A number of other groups show four, but a manual count only shows two. The overall notification count is correct. I checked Windows Phone and iOS and neither of these seem to have the issue. Just thought I would let you know.

Hi, Don't know if its intended this way but... We added a system under a different account under our server. But when we want to apply Group Policy's to that group we cannot do that. The Group that the system is in is not visible to us. Is that intended that way or something that's just not there yet? Please let us know, we are planning to use multiple users in Pulseway for better Security for example every company that we manage will get its own username and password where the systems are added to. Hello, since some days my hard disk drives don't spin down anymore while not in use. I tracked the problem down with process monitor and found out that the PCMonitor Service is accessing the drives every minute through the WMI Provider Host Service (wmiprvse.exe). I disabled in Pulseway the storage notification of local disk space on all drives but it did not help. As soon as I disable the Puleway service, the disks spin down after the configured laps of time as they should do. I'am using Pulseway since some years, but the problem occured recently and was not there before. Thanks for your help. Michael

I have 2 systems on which hardware details are not available, altough in a previous version one of them was showing the details just fine. Accessing from WP7, the systems in case have: GA-EX58-UD3R and EVGA EX58 SLI MICRO It looks like when i try to add hardware notifications, nothing is available to choose in the list; no motherboard or cpu

Dear Support Team, I am opening this topic because we have been experiencing high CPU usage by a program on our Windows 2022 servers. The program is using 28-30% of the CPU constantly, even though it should only be using 1-5%. This is causing performance issues on our servers. We have already tried the following to fix the issue: lodctr /R Reinstall the program Reboot the server Update the server Lowering the task priority in Task Manager Limiting the program to using only 1 CPU core None of these solutions have worked. Hello, During the day I have a regular server (Microsoft Hyper-V 2008 R2 64) is offline for a moment. Meanwhile the servers running in Hyper-V are online. I uninstalled PCM 64 and I've reinstalled it fixes the problem. Thank you for your help.
