Is there any plan or discussion to allow MSP's the ability to white label the agent settings such as the name, desktop shortcuts, icon, installation path name, etc? We used to have this with a former RMM tool we used and it was helpful to maintain brand consistency with our clients. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

Would be nice to have a configurable pop-up with some basic troubleshooting steps such as "Please restart your system" when someone opens a Request Support window from the tray icon.

I just thought I would throw this out there. If Pulseway could manage printers in a similar fashion as Uniprint or other cloud print platforms this would be the greatest thing ever. This would be a major revenue generator for us MSP's. I was also thinking of an addition for managing credentials and group policies. I was reviewing a product called Onelogin and the concept was interesting. Kind of like active directory for everything (mac, android etc.) which would allow us to manage large groups. In my opinion this would make Pulseway the onestop cloud solution. We could manage computers, control security and easily deploy printers anywhere anytime.

Hi. I am trying to make a read-only team. It should have access to all devices like te "Administrators" team, but just read-only. I can set the access level for all individual organizations, but when we create new organizations i have to updates the teams access level for this organizations. If the Access level editor has a top-level "All Organizations" where it is possible to set the acces level for inherance to all organizations. Could that be possible?

It would be nice with a build in option to trigger notifications based on failed Agent Jobs. We are currently using this custom SQL Query in 'msdb': SELECT STUFF((SELECT N', ' + name FROM (SELECT name FROM dbo.sysjobs WHERE (SELECT TOP 1 run_status FROM dbo.sysjobhistory WHERE (step_id = 0) AND (job_id = sysjobs.job_id) ORDER BY run_date DESC, run_time DESC) = 0 AND (enabled = 1)) AS [n1] FOR XML PATH(''),TYPE).value('text()[1]','nvarchar(max)'),1,2,N'') AS [Failed] // Martin.

Hi. When receiving the notification "The computer 'XXX' in group 'XXX' is shutting down" I am always wondering who is shutting down the server. Could it be possible to add information about which user initiated the shutdown? I know that Windows write it to the eventlog, so the information should be available. If it could possible to match the users with RDP connections, so we also can see what client the user was connected from, it would something near perfect. The computer 'XXX' in group 'XXX' is shutting down by user 'XXX' logged on interactively. The computer 'XXX' in group 'XXX' is shutting down by user 'XXX' logged on remotely from client …

Hello fellow forum readers! The new policies setting within Pulseway seems like a good step forward, great job on that! Now on to the request part of the post; It seems silly to just be able to assign a single policy to a customer. A better solution would be to allow multiple policy settings to a single Agent Group. This way you can specify a default policy for all customers, and finetune the policy for specific solutions. In the customer only policy it would be possible to filter out specific errors, which are a known feature for the particular Agent Group. Looking forward to a response, Alex Grolleman

Hi MMSOFT. We think it would be a very nice feature to add RDP to your Remote Desktop Client Desktop App. We mostly use Azure VMs, and here RDP is enabled by default using a custom TCP port. It could be configured on the managed deviced like this. Add Windows RDP to Pulseway Remote Desktop Client [ ] no [x] yes Connect to RDP through [x] public ip [ ] other ip/dns: ________________ Use custom TCP port [ ] no - use default 3389 [x] yes - port: ________________ Of course it could be done with VNC and other common remote tools too. Some options could maybe be discovered by the pulseway client itself - like Teamviewer ID. Best Regards, …

It would be nice with a build in option to trigger notifications based on the date since last backup of any databse. We are currently using this custom SQL Query i 'msdb': SELECT STUFF((SELECT N', ' + name FROM (SELECT TOP (100) PERCENT db.name FROM (SELECT name FROM master.sys.databases WHERE (state = 0) AND (NOT (name IN ('tempdb')))) AS db LEFT OUTER JOIN (SELECT database_name AS name, backup_finish_date AS timestamp FROM dbo.backupset UNION SELECT name, create_date FROM master.sys.databases) AS b ON b.name = db.name GROUP BY db.name HAVING (NOT (1 * ISNULL(STR(ABS(DATEDIFF(hh, GETDATE(), MAX(b.timestamp)))), - 1) BETWEEN 0 AND 48)) ORDER BY db.name) AS [n1] F…

Pulseway WebApp in 6.x has implemented the centralized management of Group Policy via the Configuration section of Server Admin. This is a Great Start! Now it would be great if we could configure policy at the Site and Organization Level as well. With application rules similar to Active Directory where the Organization policy would be overwritten by the Site Policy which would be overwritten by the Group Policy. This would allow for easy policy changes across all systems at the Organization Level and more granular policy changes at Site and Group Level. Right Now I have 100 policies I have to manage and any change requires editing each policy because of the …

I am finding the interface to be aggravating. In some places when i click on a ticket I get a pop out window that holds my ticket and time entries. I love it working this way. But then I go to the timesheets look at the list of the tickets there and click one and it opens in a new or the current tab. I dislike tickets opening in the current or new tab, but even more... I dislike the inconsistency where in one place it opens differently than another. Let's get the interface to be consistent. AND while your at it, maybe the new/same tab vs new window can be a configurable choice so that users won't complain that their favorite way of tickets opening isn't stuck doing the op…

As the title says, any plans to integrate the Dashboard product into the WebApp? Makes sense, one less install and a central point for reporting and config.

Per PCI 3.2, TLS 1.0 will soon be required to be disabled. We tested this out on a few of our servers with Pulseway and after doing so the Pulseway Agent on the server stop reporting into the Pulseway Console. When trying to verify the account on the Pulseway Manager 5.1 we got the following error: An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to https://ws15.pulseway.com/Server.svc. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to theservice shutting down). See server logs for more details. The only way to fix it was to re-enable th…

Sometimes i am creating a ticket after i have already started work on the problem. Not ideal I know, but it happens. It happens enough that i would really like to be able to put in the time i started working on the problem and then hit the now choice and then hit a "Add time" or start tracking time button that continues to update the "now" or "end" field. that way i dont have to remember to hit that now button when i am done and hit the save button.

Hi Support, Firstly I have to say that I really love this program, it has really put a spotlight on efficiency and making day to day server support a breeze. I also have to commend you on your ongoing commitment to the community in providing updates and improvements. As for my feature request, is it possible to have a LOCAL UP ADDRESS added either before or after the EXTERNAL IP ADDRESS option. At the moment I have to fire up the command prompt widget and hit an IPCONFIG to get the address. A quick visual would help improve remote troubleshooting when getting users to ping servers and such. Thanks again for the great work Daniel

Had an idea for a self help portal for users using Pulseway. I was looking through the API and didn't see any hooks to allow this; but what if admins could define a list of scripts that users could self-run on their systems through Pulseway. A good use case for this would be installing common apps like Google Chrome or doing a series of regular tasks like emptying recycling bins or clearing various caches. Basically giving users access to a set list of scripts that they can run on their own computers through Pulseway. The place I'm currently working at would greatly benefit from this having several hundred users and the number of times we have to install a sin…

It was would be awesome if you could in the pulseway rules, create a rule that if it see's an alert/notification/event log error X numbers of times within so many hours or minutes then run the rule specified. What this would do is allow me to automate a fix to a problem without having a false positive and running a rule that really was only effecting 1 person versus 10 people for example.

So, here we use another local PSA solution. The idea is to send alert emails from status to open a ticket Ex: if status is high, send a mail to example@example.com o a field that we can select one or more status to send email. This is a very important feature to show for our costumer that we are solving te issues and working a lot in his infrastructure. Some costumers need see our work in a report...

hi there was wondering whether there is a way to change the way that the maintenance schedule works? basically, its a great idea, and does help, but say we have the maintenance schedule on during the night, but still want to see the notifications during this time at a later time, can this be implemented so that they are stored somewhere? thanks...gary

Hi, Is it possible to have options to update: Adobe Flash Adobe Reader Java Firefox Google Chrome Sliverlight VLC Player And maybe other programs? For there updates we now still need to login to the servers. If you could bundle Pulseway with some Scripts to auto update the applications that would be Great. I Think that there are more applications that are popular like: CCleaner etc. that many of us use, and do not get updates automatically.
