Hi there, I've recently started using pulseway again after mostly phasing it out of my use in my home environment. I'm aware that you've changed policy and now no longer have a free tier, although users who previously signed up still have access. I would like to know about the process of converting my existing free tier account over to a paid account as i've already hit the limit of two endpoints again which stopped me from fully adopting pulseway the first time around. Looking at the pricing it seems you have a flat fee rather than a per-endpoint. What is the total number of endpoints included in that plan? And how would I go about transitioning my account…

  3. Our US hosting provider will be performing storage maintenance on Saturday June 3rd. During this time, you may experience intermittent, short-term service disruption. This will only impact those SaaS customers hosted in the US data center. We do apologize for this service disruption and any inconvenience this may cause. However, we have officially taken a decision to switch our hosting provider and are in the process of planning the migration which will take place in phases. If you would like to be included in the first tranche of migrations, please contact myself at stefan.mclaughlin@pulseway.com your account manager.

I was just wondering, is there a way to create Notifications Templates? For example, we intend on using Pulseway to monitor workstations as well as servers. I'm quite happy to configure notifications for each server, but having to configure notifications for each individual workstation for all our clients is going to be a nightmare!

Hi Hopefully someone can help... new user so bare with me. I recently installed PC Monitor on my Windows 7 computer and Android mobile device. Awesome bit of software and I have only just scraped the surface of its full capabilities. I am able to turn the PC on using my mobile phone no problem, but once the PC boots up I am taken to the Windows User log in screen which requires a password before I can log into Windows. I can't see anyway to remotely enter the password in order for Windows to load. Am I totally missing something or is there no work around for this? Someone please help because I am completely stumped otherwise. Chris

  6. In the Android app, when I go to "Screens" - "View available screens". After it quickly goes through the "loading screens" it pops up with just 1 screen as "Active" even though the computer has dual screens and both are being used. The second screen is set with the extend my display option in Windows 8.1 Pro and on the computer it is working fine as an extended desktop. How do I get it so I can get screen images of the second screen through the app? Do I have to change something in the Pulseway Manager app? Considering it's labled "Screens"-plural and attempts to load more than one screen when used I'm assuming it's intended to allow visibility for more than just the prim…

  7. I'm a user of PC Monitor and I had two accounts that were able to login the software. But I didn't used the software for a while. Today I tried to setup my new computer and it said Invaild user name and/or email address. The two username combinations are easy113/easy113@gmail.com and easy1013/easy113@me.com . Could anyone help me to fix it? Thanks! Screnshots http://sdrv.ms/T2mD4L http://sdrv.ms/T2mEpg

I am trying to install a 3rd Party application, Elpha Secure. I have the .msi file saved to Dropbox and I am trying to install it from there. After doing some research I have gone in and set up a Custom Tile, but it was just spinning at Provisioning then "Failed to read metadata". Is there something else I need to be doing?

  9. I have an issue logged with Pulseway support and we worked on it for about an hour or so with no resolve. Basically you run the Policy and Patch folder is not created... nor do any applications install or update, as well as Windows Updates. Anyone else having this issue? As a work around to re-install a corrupt application or new, I used the mobile app, %computername%, patch management and then click Install Applications. Not the best of solutions but for now a work around if you are having issues also.

  10. Since Pulseway forced an update to 9.7 roughly a week ago connecting to clients has been extremely difficult. Almost 100% of the time when attempting to remote control via the app it sits at "Starting remote control Session..." for about a minute before giving the message in the attached image "Connection timeout while trying to start the remote control session." Sometimes the systems you are trying to connect to will go offline in Pulseway after the failed attempt; however, they are most certainly still online since I can RDP from systems right next to them that I also happen to be connected to via Pulseway. They will come back online in Pulseway a minute or two later a…

Hello to All members, I hope somebody could advise me if it is an issue of PC Monitor. At home I have a running server with several HDDs. It is setup to suspend/spin down the disks after 30 min of no activity. After installing PC monitor service my impression is that none of the disks get suspended. I run the WIndows 8 OS. The impression has been confirmed by the power consumption meter. Any idea what could be the issue and how to solve it. Cheers

  12. Hi This morning all of my servers went through patching critical updates - the policy says install critical updates and reboot if necessary. When I checked the policy listed "updates marked important, no updates installed" but the machines all rebooted? - That seems weird to me as I would not expect and also do not want a reboot if no updates are installed. Is that a normal behavior?

I have installed PC monitor on two linux machines (Ubuntu 11.04) and the program appears to be using a huge amount of memory, between 200MB and 400MB as measured with top, htop and ps. Is this normal? Can it be configured to use less memory? Niall

I have to say I'm very disappointed in this upgrade. Functionality actually missing that was in the previous version? (System level user rights, separate notifications rights) No ETA for the return of those features? Disappointing.

I am trying to email a file, but it doesn't arrive at the email address i type in. The test emails work fine. I get no error messages. Or do they just take a while?

  17. Hi, I've been using Pulseway for a few years. Never noticed any real issues. For some reason my monitored processes are not generating notifications when they close. Just for the sake of this post I've chosen the calc.exe process in windows server 2012 r2 and have pulseway 5.3 installed: If I start of by deleting any existing monitored processes then select "calc.exe" from TM..... Then restart calc.exe...it will generate an alert for the first start of calculator. But it won't do anything when I close calc.exe again. Then it won't work at all until I delete and re add the monitored process. Can someone please help me out and list reasons why th…

Moderator, I want to make use of Pulseway for Home/Personal use without the creation of a work email. Is this possible?

  19. I can't get in on the web app. Machines that are online in the mobile app are reporting as offline and nothing is connectable I have had this service for a year now and the service has been down about 6-8 times in the last year. I have to pay for a backup service that, in the same period, has been down 1 time for 1 hour I opened the ticket and all I have gotten is the automated response and that was 40 minutes ago. Chances of renewal dwindling fast!

  20. I see that configuring policies / monitoring is done through the agent. What happens if you want to change the default workstation policy, how do you apply this to everyone? How can you upload files to pulseway? For example if I want to push out an installation currently I would push it up to our current RMM, and then push down to all machines and run script accordingly. Windows updates and third party patching - Kinda confused on how this works Are there any plans to change monitoring policies from the web interface instead of the agent? That's what I have so far. I'll post more as I go along.

I got everything installed and setup last night. This morning I started looking at the monitor on my iPhone. I navigated to the Hard Disk section and expected to only see information about my drives and functionality statistics, but to my surprise, I saw a listing of every file on my computer! I navigated to a personal folder and saw some very private files; although, I could not open them at all, which is good. This still really concerns me, and I have to ask if any of my file contents are sent to your servers. Is this the case? Thanks, Tony

  23. Started by rybzor,

Hello users. Yesterday I've installed PC Monitor for android to remote control my PC and It is great! The only thing I am concerned about is that I need to turn off my windows password in order to allow the app to log in into the system after I turn it on from a distance. Is there any way I could still have my windows password-protected and use PC Monitor? Like... It could type it automaticly when the windows is starting or something? For now, to access my computer, I have to shut down the password completely, so system can get to the desktop after just turning it on. But this way my system isn't protected from anyone that could turn it on manually from home.…

  24. Hi. By default, when adding Pulseway agent to a machine, and monitoring services, it monitor all Automatic services. Thats fine. Some services are Automatic, but not started, as they get started as an when needed. Then I have a manual task of unselecting the services that are on Auto, but not started on all machines, so that the Pulseway agent does not trigger an alert, for example, "Software Protection" Then a couple days later, I get an alert stating the service I asked PW kindly to stop monitoring, is now being monitored, and has stopped!! Grrr.
