Hello, Kind of a strange one here: I took over doing IT for a company that had hired a small IT firm before turning to in-house IT. The IT firm was using Pulseway to monitor our servers and workstations, but we paid for the licensing. The IT firm started to use Pulseway to monitor their other clients as well. When I took over I demanded to have access as we paid for the software and was given it, the license will expire in about 5 weeks now. They had set up some custom triggers and such that I would like to keep using without reconfiguring everything. So can I create a new account and import the old account configuration to it? Then I could strip the systems tha…

I see that configuring policies / monitoring is done through the agent. What happens if you want to change the default workstation policy, how do you apply this to everyone? How can you upload files to pulseway? For example if I want to push out an installation currently I would push it up to our current RMM, and then push down to all machines and run script accordingly. Windows updates and third party patching - Kinda confused on how this works Are there any plans to change monitoring policies from the web interface instead of the agent? That's what I have so far. I'll post more as I go along.

I've installed the self hosted RMM on a server with configuration: Windows server 2012 R2 MSSQL Express 2016 Domain joined server Trial license Now I'd like to add some Active Directory users. What would be totally awesome is if I could just create and AD group, say 'RMM Admins' and have all members of that group be an admin on the RMM platform. I haven't seen this feature in the manual or in the Pulseway Enterprise Manager. Am I missing something ?

Hi, I use Pulseway Professional for our own computers. Now I think to change to the MSP Edition and offer the RMM service to some of our customers. I want to ask the people here to share some Pulseway expieriences/impressions with me, to be sure to don't miss anything when making this decission. Hello, I have installed Pulseway on various PCs, but several of them will show offline randomly even when I know a user is on them. Currently I have 4 machines showing offline when I know someone is using them right now. They might show online for a few hours, then show offline for a few hours. First off compliments for such a great product that i'll be using for a long time. I understand the remote desktop is in beta however i have not seen any doucmentation on whether multiple screens will be supported. This will pretty much be my deciding factor whether i can go without getting teamviewer... everyone at my company has at least two screens so this makes the feature unusable if i cant see multiple screens. Dear All, I am quite a new PC Monitor user and I'd like to ask the respected gurus a very simple question. We are actually monitoring our servers via some kind of a manufacturer's cloud. What I mean by that is that my server reports its data to the manufacturers's server (cloud) and mobile devices are getting data from this cloud as well. Since I have the access to the file system via the mobile client, WHAT is the guarantee that I will be the only one capable of browsing my server file system? What will prevent someone else from doing that? Manufacturer's employees or their friends? How secure is this application? Thank you.

I had a conversation yesterday with Vick at Pulseway and discussed my solution to the problem of the Pulseway service not starting reliably 100 percent of the time. I always set the service to run delayed in Windows. I have had to do this with ScreenConnect as well. If I do not, every once in a while, on reboot, I will find the service not running. This is a real problem if I only had the remote built into Pulseway as my remote control, but I run ScreenConnect. I have been searching for a way to have my Mac Pro running 4D Server app notify me if the server app has "hung" or crashed outright. I am not a programmer, but simply a small business owner trying to stay on top of the systems we have. Having stumbled into Pulseway this week, I am so far impressed with its capabilities. It looks just like what I need! However, I could not find a way to tell it to notify me if my database app runs into trouble. The physical machine is extremely stable, but I am grateful for the notifications that Pulseway offers in terms of dismounting volumes, failing drives, etc. My one last need is to be notified if the server application hangs or …

Hi all I got a message from pulseway support that my mobile phone was added to my pulseway account. I did not add it. This happened while I was working on malware removal on-site at a customers premises on today. I have changed my pulseway password with no propagation. Could this be related to the malware on my customers pc? Thanks,

I've got Pulseway installed on a number of servers and it notify's nicely if a backup is successful or fails, but I've a couple of instances when a backup hasn't even tried to run so has neither failed or succeeded. I've noticed a number of posts requesting a feature for Pulseway to generate an alert when no backup activity has been detected in X number of days. Has this been looked at? Is this possible? Can this be developed please? Thank you

Is anyone able to clearly tell me how Pulseway's new PSA solution integrates with RMM? As far as I can tell, so far all that happens is tickets can be automatically raised by RMM notifications. Haven't done a deep dive yet, but I can't even see where a ticket would be raised against a particular enduser/client/company? Is there any other functionality available that I'm not seeing? After installing some new software (not related to Pulseway) a reboot was required. As it happens, the server went down and no notifications were sent out. Looking at the Pulseway manager it looked like it was monitoring the server, however i got NO notifications about the downed server. When i ran a service pulseway restart... i quickly got a notification that the server was on-line. That seemed to resolve the problem. My question is why does Pulseway not automatically do a restart when the machine is rebooted? Is this something i need to do every time a server is rebooted? When a specific service goes down, i am getting the appropriate notifications; however, when it comes back on-line i am not getting any notifications. I would like to know when the server goes down but also when it comes back up... any ideas?

Hi guys I have a client PC on W7 Pro. Customer reported that the PC rebooted on its own. After this incident I can not see the pc on pulseway. I have updates locked down so I can remotely choose which ones to install. Haven't been on site yet to examine the logs, doing it tomorrow anyone seen this problem before?
