Hi, i am new to pulseway and i would like to ask the forum two things: -Is there a way to receive an alert if a file is not updated in the last X mins? I have an app that updates a file every X mins ... i would like to be alerted if this app is not updating it anymore -is there a way to see the screenshot of the server updated every X mins? or manual update? I see in the app a screenshot but it is blank...

Hello, When I attempt to start a remote desktop session (from Desktop Client) I receive an error dialog with the message "An error occured while trying to start the remote desktop session" (spelling as per dialog). This is after I select the user session from the list and occurs whether there is a user logged into the computer or not. The target computer is Windows 10, running agent version 4.8 and it has been rebooted since installing the agent. I'm currently trialing Pulseway through the SaaS offering. Appreciate any assistance you can offer

Hello, When examining a connected computer under New Systems (Beta)/Systems/<Machine Name>/Printers I can only see "local" printers (Send to Onenote, XPS writer and Fax). The network attached printer (shared from a local server) cannot be seen. Is this by design or a yet to be implemented feature? Appreciate your time in reply.

I see the system supports Zendesk. Is there a way to add support for Freshdesk.com to send support tickets from clients? Or is they a way to add an email address to forward support requests to instead of using my account email address I used when I setup my Pulseway account?

We've got a bout 30 Pulseway clients showing as offline as of 1 hour ago. They all still have internet access as our remote control software is working. Any issues with the Pulseway servers at your end?

The notifications on my Android don't clear when I've cleared them on my PC. What kind of issue is this?

Or any other setting periodically. Event log would do if the only option.

I have an agent that shows offline. The server is connected to the internet and I have other servers on the same network showing up in Pulseway. When I try to Validate the account i get: There was no endpoint listening at (my server URL) that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. We are using PW to monitor our customers desktop and server parks. In our SLA we offer a clean-up of the system : "Delete Temporary Internet Files, Coockies, etc..." Is there a way to script this in PW?

In the Android app, when I go to "Screens" - "View available screens". After it quickly goes through the "loading screens" it pops up with just 1 screen as "Active" even though the computer has dual screens and both are being used. The second screen is set with the extend my display option in Windows 8.1 Pro and on the computer it is working fine as an extended desktop. How do I get it so I can get screen images of the second screen through the app? Do I have to change something in the Pulseway Manager app? I've installed Pulseway onto 3 machines of mine. 1 Windows machine, 2 Linux machines. I'm able to start a remote session to the Windows machine, but cannot to either of the Linux machines. Is there something in the config.xml file that I missed? Thanks!

I have been using Pulseway for a long time on my servers and VMs. I am implementing a Mobile Workforce using Windows 8 Tablets for my Technicians and I'd like to track them using Pulseway. The tablets are Wifi only, so when they are truly offline because they aren't connected to a wireless network, then the offline indication would be correct; however, when the screen falls asleep the device apparently puts the Wireless Adapter into a low-power state that closes the connection to the Pulseway servers, and they are shown as offline. I signed up for a free trial a couple of hours ago, and the iOS app seems great (but for a couple of bugs), but the Windows browser based interface is just awful . The scroll bar is exactly 6 pixels wide which is so thin that I can't hit it accurately. The normal browser scrollbar is 20 inches wide (IE and Google chrome), so you made it 70% thinner for no good reason. Making things worse, the space bar and the down/up arrows can't be used to scroll the window either. After playing with it for about 10 minutes, I just gave up. This is just poor interface design. It seems that you concentrate on mobile apps, but the Windows interface could really use some work. …

I have just tried to use the new Remote Desktop client on Windows 8.1. I am at a location which means I am behind a proxy server (MS TMG). I have entered the correct proxy server details into the Settings dialog, but always get "An unknown connection error occurred". I have tried installing the TMG client but that didnt help. Any ideas what might be wrong? G.

Hello, What tools are available for me to monitor my 200+ Windows 7 clients to see if Windows 7 backup completed successfully and drive has remaining space? I'm assuming pulseway monitors drive space and alerts me if it's low but I wasn't sure about easy way to find out if backup has been done last night and possible notification. Thanks, Serge

Hi Technically can you tell me what you monitor in terms of Exchange Server 2010 Active Queues? Also is there a way or are there any plans to monitor an active Send Connector or Receive Connector? For example it would be great to be able to view a Send Connector queue that delivers to a smart host ie outbound internet mail or Internal relay. Mark

Hi The pulseway service is using 5-10% CPU on our systems, is that really necessary? I mean, thats a lot for a monitoring service.. (16 core xeon, 32GB mem,SSD)

I'm using Pulseway to monitor about 10 servers in my domain. Most of these run in a VMWare environment. Last night and this morning I received notifications that servers were offline. The first notifications involved 2 virtual servers running on the same physical host. The third and fourth notifications were for 2 other virtual servers, both of which were running on different physical hosts than the first 2 VM's. My first thought was that there was a network hiccup that caused the Pulseway agent to lose contact on these servers. However, here's the problem with that assumption. In pulseway dahsboard (and other pulseway apps) The name of the computer that have a freshly installed pulseway agent will be shown in the pulseway apps. when i change the computername later on, how dows pulseway handle this? does it change in dahsboard? or does it keep the original name? thanks

Say i have made a group with computers i would like total survaillance on, ie a computer that is not function properly. when i am done using this this computer, i move this computer out of the group making the group empty. then i would like to move a new computer to this group, will this group remember its settings? that ive setup last time a computer have been in the group.
