Hi, It would be great having full access to a linux machine (where promox is installed), the same way windows machines have remote management. Maybe you can offer a temporary connection with user, password and port, in order to connect through ssh using that machine as a tunnel. The web terminal is a good thing, but it is limited and it can't run programs like nano or vim. Thanks. Great service guys. I really love pulseway

Would be great to see some reports of all remote connection sessions that can be sorted by customers and allow you to add billing based on session time.

Hi Marius Do you have a eta for the remote control feature? Phil

  4. As part of our contracts, we often support users on their mobile phones\tablets. We have worked with a few remote solutions that offered support of these devices. Ideally we would have screen control, but even screen viewing would be useful.

a remote control feature would put pc monitor on a new level and open new markets. i am already doing this trick by firing a command script from pc monitor that opens a ssh tunnel from the target machine to my enterprise server running a ssh server allowing a server2client tunnel from enterpriseserver:30001 to localhost:3389 and then i can connect to enterpriseserver:33001 with any RDP client and can remote control the target machine. but this is a hacking trick and not usable in an efficient way for all agents, if pc monitor comes with this functionality just opening a tcp connection to a localhost tcp port of choice it would be enough one step further would be …

Hi, A USP of Pulseway is the RMM built for Mobiles but yet we can’t remote control from a Mobile device! We still have to use our ScreenConnect or TeamViewer for remote control! Paul

I am waiting for the Mac version. Currently running a VM. It would be nice to have a Remote Desktop Access using the browser.

Maybe it could be possible in the future to choose an option: ask a user permission when taking over a Terminal Server user in the Remote Desktop Client tool.

Hello, Sometimes I have to watch my clients through the pulseway remote desktop, however I tend to multitask with other scripting / programming. I would be nice to have a option in the Pulseway Remote Desktop to view only.

Hey guys! I have a couple of things that would greatly improve my own workflow and also improving the remote desktop client in general, so I decided to collect them all in one thread. Please share your thoughts. 1. Adding sections for tags, notes and last logged on user in the Remote Desktop Client GUI. This is illustrated in the uploaded picture within this thread. 2. Transfer files. Both ways would be great, but at least being able to transfer from host to client at first. 3. Portable remote sessions. What I mean by this is to have a link that a user can go to (for example https://pulseway.yourdomain.com/help), and then download a portable ve…

Any idea when the Remote Desktop comes for Mac? So that we can control the Windows Systems via Pulseway Etc.? Remote Desktop can now only be controlled via Windows.

  12. Hi. It would be nice with a searchable Remote Desktop history. It could include fields like... Date/Time Device Session User Confirmed Durration For audit it would be great if it was possible to document what when users has had a remote desktop session, and if it has been approved by the session user.

  13. I was curious if there was a way to display multiple screens on the remote desktop for those that are working from home. I know about the toggle but I mean simultaneously, much like the Chrome Remote Desktop or even if we had to remote into the same machine twice and use two windows (which would work perfectly). It would make a lot of peoples life easier particularly during these times!

  14. Hello, I would like to see the ability to run dual screens viewable at the same time on the remote control. That way customers who need to run dual screens and have to work from home arent stuck playing swap between screens. I think either opening a second connection to the computer with one of the separate screen would be fine, but maybe there is a better way like how Remote Desktop works or Google Chrome Remote Desktop works.

  15. Hi: I dont now if is a bug When i try to start a remote desktop to a server from the windows dashboard it trying to connect to a WAN IP for that server, this con not be done. If you want to connect from Internet to a more than one server in the same network, you must change the remote desktop port in every server to a diferent port. By default all server has a 3389 TCP port to Remote Desktop or Terminal Server. You must put in the Windows App a configuring option for remote Desktop in each Server. Also if a good idea put a selection option for connect as "Console Mode" (Admin mode for Vista Sp1 or better).

Could we have some remote security features? Remote lock and wipe ideally. Maybe a find my device feature too? I know this has been requested for mobile devices ios and android, but it could be handy for laptops too

It would be great if the capability to run and view results of remote network diagnostics from a host computer was added. Thing such as: - Ping - Traceroute - SpeedTest (via Ookla)

  18. Hi. If it is possible I would like to exclude full automation scripts from the diagnostics log "trace.log". In normal situations it is fine with just an indication of the execution with the script name. I guess you could add one more checkbox like "Include full Automation Scripts" in settings, and let it be disabled as default. Best Regards, Martin.

Hey Pulseway, I think there was another topic about this, but I can't find it any more, but is it possible to make notifications disappear (archive) automatically when the problem that caused them is gone? E.g.: A ping is missing for a little while and then comes back (2 notifications), a system is too hot and cools down (1 notification), a disk too full (2 notifications), memory usage peeks (we get this all the time), a network loses network connection for five minutes (many many notifications if it happens). The result of these problems is that we get spammed full of notifications every night when really only a small part of that is relevant to the well-being of ou…

It would be nice to have the ability to reorganize scripts. We have Categories available for organization, but no way to move a script from one category to another. As our script library grows, we'd like to add some more granular categorization, but this would require us to recreate scripts in the new categories and delete them from the old. Drag and drop reorganization would be great here.

Many times I've made quotes that I forgot an Item. I want my quotes to be organized with like parts together. If I want to add another item I have to delete everything below and then reenter the rest. I wish I could reorganize the items more easily.

  22. We are considering switching over to the RepairShopr PSA platform, and would like to know if an integration with them may be in the works. I understand they use the REST API as well, and have solid documentation on their site for integrating into their platform. Can this be looked into? It is definitely becoming a popular solution, and companies like Ninja RMM and SolarWinds MSP are already integrated with them. Here is their article on their API: http://feedback.repairshopr.com/knowledgebase/articles/376312 Thank you!

  23. Hi We would love to have the following possibility regarding answers to notifications. 1) When I receive a mail during out-of-office hours, due to some problems with our servers, the notification is send to 2-4 persons depending on what problem that occurs. All persons receive a personalized mail with only their own mail address instead of all persons listed in the same mail. That stops me from pressing, "answer all" and write, "no problem, I will look into this". The problem is that more than one person starts to look into the same problem and disturb each other - or even worse, everyone think someone else is looking into the problem. 2) Another way around the same topi…

The CSV data export would be much more usefull if it had some other way of getting the data aside from download or email. Ideally the information would be highly usable and "alive" in the Portal app whether the endpoint is offline or stolen However I am able to get more insight once the info is inAccess. I found when I Import to access that I must set " as text qualifier get a good import otherwise commas in the data cause extra fields to be created.
