Hello all, I am new here and I do not know is this the right place to ask this query here or not but I hope I will get a positive response, I have a WordPress blog that is hosted on the well know hosting service provider. For the last few month i am facing a slow page and 500 internal server errors, this will affect the traffic and ranking of my blog, and now i am thinking to change the hosting provider, can anyone suggest me any other best-hosting provider? Thank you

Hi, on the website it lists support@pulseway.com as an email address. It's quite handy as can forward an alert (so adding context and info to the question). However on doing so today, I got a bounceback: Hello ...., We're writing to let you know that the group you tried to contact (support) may not exist, or you may not have permission to post messages to the group. A few more details on why you weren't able to post: * You might have spelled or formatted the group name incorrectly. * The owner of the group may have removed this group. * You may need to join the group before receiving permission to post. * This group may not be open…

Can someone please explain what the "System Description Contains" filtering option does when creating new Scopes? Does this allow you to filter by Computer Descripton? or something else entirely? Thanks.

Hi, We are facing the following issue. Our systems in Devices -> Device Management are showing the uptime e.g. "Online for 13 days, 17 hours, 23 minutes" while this is not true (device recently powered off/powered on). This causes quite a bit of frustration for the end users, as we have enabled a policy that indicates that a laptop should be restarted if it has not been restarted for more than 10 days (one of your standard workflows). Now our end users are falsely receiving the message that their laptop has not been restarted in the past 10 days while this is the case. Is this a known problem and what can be done about it? T…

Hi, I've tried to install the PC Monitor service on a Windows 2003 Server machine. The service starts and stops again. In the trace.log the information below is produced. I have 2 systems that keep going on / offline in Pulseway. It's 1 physical system with a VM. It'll go off/on every few minutes for about 30 secs. Then stop for a while and start doing it again. Not at the same time either. The physical machine will show offline but I can still interact with the VM. Never experienced this issue before. I tried to restart the systems but didn't help. I reset the network they're on but that didn't help either. I believe it's an issue with PulseWay. Should I try to uninstall / reinstall?

Not sure if the last update has changed either Tasks, Scope or Tags but i have a few Tasks that i use each week that now report as Skipped and doesn't seem to matter if i change the script that Task is using or which Scope. Running the Script against the actual Device works. Anyone else noticed this??

Is there a way to easily check which tasks and scripts have ran for the past xx days with its status for a particular machine? I would have expected to find it when selecting the machine amongst all the other information Instead we have to go to Tasks , and then Execution History, but it is per task, and there could be hundred of executions for that task, and we need to open then one by one to find the desired machine. Not easy Basically, very quickly, we want to check what has ran or not, and if the tasks were successful Thanks

hi i'm new to team account is there a way for me to create a user for an end customer, and limit that user so he'll be able to do only specific actions on the agent? i've found the policies, which i've seen i can make those limitations there. and i've found that i can apply those policies to a site, an organization or an agent group. but how can i apply them so they limit the user via those policies? i could only find team permissions but it's only full/no/read only - nothing in between what am i missing here? thank you

Hi there, This might be a bit of a long shot - but I have an end client who's interested in deploying custom Teams issues with Pulseway (as there aren't many users in-office for obvious reasons). I've attempted to deploy this by pushing a batch script, to copy the backgrounds from a shared location. The backgrounds folder in question is located in the user's roaming appdata (%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds\Uploads). For this reason I wasn't able to use %username% correctly in my batch script, as the script is being run by some Pulseway service, rather than as the local user account. Please let me know if you've any ideas and have a great day. …

Has you system just had a small outage ? Servers from on location showed as offline - but they weren't Initially servers from elsewhere showed fine still (for about 20 minutes) so I assume it was a problem at the one location- then it went offline as well and then they all came back ? If it was an issue at your end - is there anywhere I can look for a health report of your service (or ideally push another notification down) If of course the issue wasn't at your end I apologise - but welcome any suggestions as to how 2 related sites could show false results ? Many Thanks

This may seem trivial, but so far I am not finding documentation on how to push a third party application to a device. Is that a function Pulseway can do? Just need to remote silent install an exe or msi.

This is not 2FA... it's bothering you with an email to login to your account. Two-Factor requires any two of these: Something you know (your username & password, check) Something you have (a software/hardware code generator, a Yubikey) Something you are (fingerprint, etc.) Bio-metrics are far from perfect, and usually avoided in these situations - I'm just amazed you went through the effort to implement this "2 factor send you an email" when it's simple to implement the time-based solution that is used by Google and others. I've been waiting for a long time for you to add 2FA - and to have it implemented like this is insulting; I feel like you ma…

Is there a way to display time stamps on reports? For instance, when running the the CPU use report - the graphs is great and all, but it would be nice to have some more data like time of day. Or maybe at least can I find out when the agent polls the server?

Hello, I've had a couple of occurrences lately of a remote desktop limit violation, with the error message "There are too many concurrent remote desktop sessions for this server.". While the message is obvious, as far as I'm concerned we shouldn't be near the 5 session limit we are licensed for. Is there a way to establish what connections are open and by whom? Kind regards

Hello, Kind of a strange one here: I took over doing IT for a company that had hired a small IT firm before turning to in-house IT. The IT firm was using Pulseway to monitor our servers and workstations, but we paid for the licensing. The IT firm started to use Pulseway to monitor their other clients as well. When I took over I demanded to have access as we paid for the software and was given it, the license will expire in about 5 weeks now. They had set up some custom triggers and such that I would like to keep using without reconfiguring everything. So can I create a new account and import the old account configuration to it? Then I could strip the systems tha…

Hello, I'm needing to know if there's an easy way with 6.0 to transfer agents from an On-Prem server with an MSP to my own SaaS Pulseway account without having to uninstall and reinstall all agents? I also use webroot on all devices. I wondered if this article "https://forum.pulseway.com/topic/1797-migrate-your-agents-from-professional-to-enterprise/" would be valid or could it be modified for version 6.0? Thank you!

Hi All I wanted to share my experience with workflows, in the hope that someone else can benefit, or if there is a better way to do things I am all ears! In the sales/onboarding process I noticed how amazing and powerful the automation engine was, yet restrictive it was that I wasn't able to trigger an automation workflow myself (on schedule, or other action like restart). Also the management of Tags wasn't available from tasks/scripts. I needed a way to bring those two elements together. I 'wrote' a program using Visual Studio that does nothing other than waits a period of time, and then stops. Code is attached. I am creating a scheduled task that run…

We are busy setting up the integration between Pulseway and Autotask. When signed into the server, opening Pulseway Manager 8.50, and going to Settings>Autotask we can enable the Autotask integration and enter the credentials for the account. After that the Account and Queue dropdowns become available with the company and the queue that the tickets needs to go to and this works as expected. With the amount of servers that we manage we want to roll this setting out using endpoint policies. We go to the webapp, create a policy, go to other settings, select Autotask. After we entered the same credentials as we did in Pulseway Manager the dropdown menu's don't…
