Hello, Will the Pulseway Agent run on a POS (Windows PosReady 7 or Windows 10 Enterprise 1809 LTSC) without have Shell as explorer.exe? We have a POS-software acting as Shell so there is no procesbar nor a notification area. Will Pulseway be able to run and most important be able to run scripts (PowerShell i.e.)? Thx in advance.

Hi, I am monitoring a number of systems remotely for a number of customers and have found that if for any reason they lose their internet connection, all their systems appear on our dashboard as offline. I understand why this is happening, but is there some method within Pulseway to recognise when the remote internet connection is down so that the alerts/notifications can be ignored? Thanks

Hoping there is something here to do what I am after. I want to run the Pulseway RMM reports external to the web page. Maybe through the API? I have a number of reports that I want to run for each "client". Rather than schedule each individual report, I want to be able to run 1 report which includes all the reports that I'm after. Basically, the recipient will get 1 e-mail message which contains all the selected reports. Is this possible. Maybe through an API of some sort? Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Hi. I would like to start sending my clients a report to show that monitoring is taking place and updates applied etc. Does anyone have recommendations on what to send. I'd imagine most of my clients are not concerned with the technical aspects of a report but just need assurance that something is happening! Regards, Andy

I'm in the process of cleaning up some of the duplicates that came from the 6.0 upgrade. One of the scopes that we are having trouble with is the All Systems for <username> from <username> account. we've removed all reports and tasks in the system that were using the scope, but we still get an error message when attempting to delete the scope that its still being used by a report. How can we go about removing these?

This may seem trivial, but so far I am not finding documentation on how to push a third party application to a device. Is that a function Pulseway can do? Just need to remote silent install an exe or msi.

Hello, I'm needing to know if there's an easy way with 6.0 to transfer agents from an On-Prem server with an MSP to my own SaaS Pulseway account without having to uninstall and reinstall all agents? I also use webroot on all devices. I wondered if this article "https://forum.pulseway.com/topic/1797-migrate-your-agents-from-professional-to-enterprise/" would be valid or could it be modified for version 6.0? Thank you!

I'm not going to say what I really am feeling about this product right now because "my content will need to be approved by a moderator". But I am baffled by this company at the moment. I recently renewed for another year and the invoice does not match the amount my card was charged. It's only a few dollars different but accountants are sticklers and in order for me to submit my credit card statement to accounts payable I need an ACCURATE invoice. The "ask a question" is the only apparent support when logged into my account but doesn't actually get an answer or response of any sort. New to Pulseway and on an trial. I often get error "Group not found" and then an other image. If i click one more time on the group-name I mostly can see the systems in the group. GK

Hi, I'm currently using Pulseway for personal use, and I wanted to use remote desktop between my computers. I thought we got two computers with pro free, meaning we can use remote desktop on the two. I only have two computers connected to my account, so that's not the issue. Could you help me figure how to get Pulseway to allow me to use remote desktop?

Maybe I'm using the wrong search tags but I can't seem to find the answer here. When I restart my computer using pulseway, windows boots up and sits there waiting for a password. I can't seem to find a way to enter the password in the pulseway app. Is there a way to do this or a specific script to run instead of restart, or is the only way to remove the windows password?

Where did group policy management go in 6.0? I don't see it in the webapp or on the agents...

I have to say I'm very disappointed in this upgrade. Functionality actually missing that was in the previous version? (System level user rights, separate notifications rights) No ETA for the return of those features? Disappointing.

I'm holding off on onboarding a new client to Pulseway because I don't want to do it twice. Any rough idea about when the release will come out? Is there a beta or RTM version available? One of the systems I monitor is a Microsoft Surface Pro 3, which has both a forward- and a rear-facing webcam. When I use the Webcam function in Pulseway, it accesses the rear camera only. Is it possible to switch it to the front camera?

Is there a script that can be used to change the group name on the Pulseway Manager client for a particular machine? This would help us reorganize a few machines without having the need to remote in to them. Thank you.

I've been hunting for how I simply open up all systems to each user account, but the solution has evaded me. Thus far all I can find is the "Share Systems" which requires that I go in and change it every time a new system or user is added, which is obviously extremely inefficient and awkward to maintain. Any help guiding this PW newbie appreciated!

Hello Team Pulseway! Can we assign a ticket to a custom queue by scanning keywords in the subject line? For example, we have made some custom queues for Hardware, Email issue, Epicor, etc. and would like to create rules to scan the subject line for specific keywords and place them in a specific queue and assign them to specific users too. I tried under Admin -> Business process -> Workflow, but it didn't seem readily apparent exactly what I should be doing from there. OK, for the past couple of days I keep getting alerts on 3 endpoints about Windows Defender needing to have an update installed, even though WebRoot is installed and Windows Defender was disabled. After going through the processes, I noticed that Windows Defender was and was not disabled. Heres what I found when looking at the Startup under Task Manager. There are two (2) Windows Defender installed and one was disabled, the other not. After research, it appears that going from 1709 to 1803 installs the second Windows Defender with so far no way to remove it. So I just manually disabled it and also di…

I have some scripts that I use with windows schedule task, but if I will configure a email notification I have to configure a lot of dependencies. I notice that there are tickets coming from RMM events, such as offline statuses for servers where it takes up far more room than it should. Both the title and the description contain the same information: Only the first line is necessary in the title, or something like, "'MYSERVER' in group 'My Servers' is offline" with the full description within the ticket.

We are a small support company in NZ who manage many different clients in the same industry. Just struggling with the best way to configure pulseway in relation to grouping and scopes. How do others do this? One group per client with all their equipment inside the group ? Or groups dependant on task (workstation / servers etc ) so they can be attributed different patch policies and group policies easily. Would love some thoughts. Thanks.
