I am a new vpn user and I have insufficient knowledge about vpn. I just confused that l2tp and ikev2 are uses ipsec for data security, so why both are use as a protocol.

Hi, One of my Windows PC's went down for a disk controller error. One time it restarted and another time it shut down. Checking the windows logs I found the disk controller error event and the Kernel-Power event (both in System log event). I trapped the events in PC Monitor but when all this happened again the only alert from PC Monitor was for the disk controller event but nothing for Kernel-Power. Just to understand. If a windows machine goes down windows has just the right time to log the event but I guess PC Monitor has not got time to alert. If this is right I guess I can't trap the Kernel-Power event. Hi, Ive been reading a few topics and seen that the free limit used to be up to 5 computers, I don't have much intention of having more but could do with being able to link up to all 5 is this possible to do with out having to buy a subscription every year? im not using them for business just personal use should that make any difference. I am trying to install a 3rd Party application, Elpha Secure. I have the .msi file saved to Dropbox and I am trying to install it from there. After doing some research I have gone in and set up a Custom Tile, but it was just spinning at Provisioning then "Failed to read metadata". Is there something else I need to be doing?

Hi, we're running our Admin sessions for Pulseway on a Windows Server 2022 Remote Desktop Server with Microsoft Security Baseline installed, and the Servicedesk Admin Users are running as "normal" users in Windows without administrative privileges on the Windows Server / RDS Session Host. What is the functioning way to deploy the Pulseway Remote Control App (Version 9.7) in this scenario? Here's what we've tried: Install the RemoteDesktop.msi with a user with administrative privileges, "for all users" -> in this case on starting a Pulseway Remote Desktop Session an elevation prompt appears - but since our Servicedesk Admins do not have administrative rights on …

Hello Guys, Today my adroid app and my Pulseway Manager show me this Message "Invalid username and/or password (202)." but the passwords are stored and not touched for month. when i try to order a new password i got the message "Invalid account details (1011)." and the best part if i try "recover your username" the website says " No account found for email address '.....'". but a few days ago i recieved at this mail address pulyseway notfications. whats wrong with my account ? my accoutname is nusspli Thanks

For customers with locked down outbound access we need to get them a list of IP' to allow Pulseway to function properly, including the Pulseway Remote access. The list that has been shared is: 69.65.50.4 69.65.50.6 69.65.50.5 69.65.50.9 69.65.38.27 The customer added those, but the Pulseway Remote was not working until they added 69.65.48.240 as well. Does anyone out there by chance have a current list of IP addresses for the Pulseway communication to function properly? Thanks

Last month a vulnerability was revealed in SQLite. It can be read about here: https://blog.trailofbits.com/2022/10/25/sqlite-vulnerability-july-2022-library-api/ Just curious if the version Pulseway uses is vulnerable, as I see Pulseway does use SQLite? If so is there any communication on when it is expected to get fixed?

We are testing Pulseway and so far it's a great program. One feature that would be useful to us is the ability to create a checkpoint on a VM in a Hyper-V system from the app. Is this possible?

Dear Pulseway Support, At one of our customers we accidently clicked on "Disable Pulseway User Agent (pcmontask.exe). From this moment we aren't able anymore to remote access the PC. Now we need to ask the customer to 'Enable' it, but I'm hoping that something else is possible, to enable it somehow from remote (via PowerShell -> Registry)?

Hello, I recently switched to a load balancing router TP-Link TL-R600VPN; Now I'm having an issue because of the two internet connections, I keep getting "public IP address changed" notification between the two IPs of each connections. Note that both connection have a dynamic IP that change almost everyday hence I would like to still keep this notification. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

We reinstalled Pulseway on a re-imaged system and after the install we noticed issues. In the patch mgmt section, the status was "assign failed" in red. We rebooted the system and then the service was not starting. We checked the service, it was set to start automatically and in the event log it was generating this error: "Service cannot be started. The handle is invalid" We removed the system from Pulseway, uninstalled, and reinstalled. Service is starting normally, but still getting the same issue of the patch policy failing to assign. I tried moving the system to another group that did not have a patch policy at all and got the same result.

Hi, wondering if anyone else if having this issue. I monitor ~34 servers and for the last 2 days, they have been randomly showing as offline. They are still up and the Pulseway service/software is running. On the Pulseway dashboard it keeps dropping servers off the screen and then they reappear and the complete list is never there now. A number of servers have the blinking "Offline Since xx days ago" but are not going red, some are. Reflects the same on my Android (Droid Maxx) phone. I just wanted to say thank you for a great product. We use Kaseya where I work and I can use that on my home machines if I want but right now I am using PC Monitor because it is just so easy and the mobile notifications, as opposed to emails, is more immediate and noticeable. I recommend PC Monitor to friends where Kaseya is either too expensive or just too complex. If I could make one suggestion .... please add some form of remote control other than RDP. At the moment I am using Teamviewer as well as PC Monitor but it would be great to have it all in the one package. Keep up the good work! David.

Having trouble finding where to do an exclusion in KAV for Windows. KAV quarantined some files that are required for some X-Ray software on a client. Need to make sure these files are not treated as a virus.

Hi, With the recent recommendation from NCSC not to use Russian AV as this could result in a Data Breach which under GDPR could be expensive for us and or customers! What is Pulseway’s stance on this, will you be removing support for Kaspersky? Maybe replace it with ESET or BitDefender? Paul
