  8. Dear all, I've been trying to connect to my costumer but I had to resort to teamviewer (Ugh) because everytime I try to take over a computer I'm greeted with this error: The eventlog's are clean, the agent has been configured to allow remote desktop (downloaded additional components), the computer shows as online in my Pulseway Remote desktop manager. I tried this from both my laptop and my desktop, both are running Pulseway Remote desktop Version 5.0.0 build 124 Server is running 5.0.1 build 203 release 221 with a nice SHA2 certificate. Clients are also running 5.0.0 build 124 The error occurs when trying to connect to whichever computer. …

  10. Hi There, I've just installed the enterprise server. I have installed the certificate for pulseway.mydomain.co.uk I've also added the CA to trusted roots. however in the server admin config - I'm getting this error when attempting to set the web server: I'm not too sure which FQDN I am supposed to enter here - I've tried pulseway.mydomain.co.uk and also the full PC Hostname FQDN? The certificate works from outside the network, and I can land on the web app sign in page without any cert error - however, the same error shows when trying to login: any help would be very much appreciated as I'm lost as what else to try! …

  11. Hi Getting used to, and liking, version 6. It's good to be able to apply policys to systems within Groups. However, as a lot of my clients are small, I have lots of small Groups. Is there a way to apply a policy, or individual setting to machines in more than one group e.g. applying to a scope for instance. At the moment it's time consuming to make a change in each group. Sorry - think this may have gone to wrong section...I'm not using Enterprise Server.

Hello. We are using Pulseway Enterprise Server as SaaS. One of our servers is restricted both inbound and outbound for the traffic it can handle by our firewall, but we want to be able to communicate with Pulseway for monitoring. Do you have a list of host names or IP addresses that we can allow in our firewall so it can communicate? I can see from previous posts if we allow HTTPS it should communicate but we would like to lock down the source and destination ports for security purposes. We've done some packet monitoring but we are getting various server responses back (for example load balancing servers) so I want to make sure we accept all Pulseway connections. …

I'm trying to set up the Enterprise Server, but I cannot install it because it will not accept my SSL certificate: --------------------------- PC Monitor Enterprise Server Installer --------------------------- An error occurred while importing the certificate. Make sure the password is correct. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- I've exported the private key multiple times, making sure I don't mistype the password, but PC Monitor will always give me that error.

  16. Any one want to share info on the hosting setups they are using? I was hosting internally and moved my server to Amazon ec2 with VPC. I monitor approximately 30 machines. My cost is going to be around $50 - $60 a month. Would like to hear feedback from other Enterprise Users....

PC Monitor Enterprise Server supports unlimited accounts allowing you to split the areas of responsibility within your team by allowing multiple monitoring accounts and the ability to "share" the monitored computers and notifications between the team members. To enable this feature start PC Monitor app on the monitored computer and press the "Change Account Details" from the Accounts tab. From the "Associated Accounts" tab you can share any computers with other accounts as read only or full access with or without notifications. You can add multiple entries for the same account sharing a subset of computers as read only and another subset with full access.

We have in our own business office 10 servers. In total with our customers we have about 50 servers. We would like to install the Enterprise server in our own business office. But what if the Enterprise server is offline? (server down or line down). We can host the server in another datacentre but it could always go offline for what reason it is.

i extend my enterprise servers capabilities by own applications and i use the pc monitor logon (username/passwort) to authenticate. i had to notice that my notification router (the app) cannot be used anymore since the passwords are salted before stored into the database. has the salting started with an update of the enterprise server? i didn't install/change something. i need to know the salting algorithm to make that working again, i have to be able to calculate the salted-hash outside the enterprise server in my own application.
