JMann
Hello. We are using Pulseway Enterprise Server as SaaS. One of our servers is restricted both inbound and outbound for the traffic it can handle by our firewall, but we want to be able to communicate with Pulseway for monitoring. Do you have a list of host names or IP addresses that we can allow in our firewall so it can communicate? I can see from previous posts if we allow HTTPS it should communicate but we would like to lock down the source and destination ports for security purposes. We've done some packet monitoring but we are getting various server responses back (for example load balancing servers) so I want to make sure we accept all Pulseway connections. Staff Chris Posted May 25, 2016 Staff Share Posted May 25, 2016 Hi JMann, You need to open the TCP 443 port (HTTPS) for the hostname of your Enterprise server in outbound. Thanks Chris
JMann
Thanks Chris, that's worked for us.
apatcas
So are we expected to just open up HTTPS to the whole internet. If we have a hosted instance can we just open up 443 to packets coming from that subdomain?
