  1. Just an FYI - their API docs are linked below. They just did a major overhaul or the web interface and agent. https://apidocs.symantec.com/home/SEPC Thanks!

  2. Would be great if we could copy and paste into the remote desktop connection. The only way you can do it at the moment is to paste into the chat box. Which can be awkward if its a password.

    1. Would be great to read the logged in user name and use it in chat instead of computer name. Then possibly confirm with the user that they are indeed the person logged in 2. Give user option to enter their email for chat history. 3. Allow admin to set email to send it to when chat is ended. (add button to end chat on admin and user side too)

I know this would be a major change in the reporting interface, but how about an option to interact with the results of a report. Maybe one can choose an additional "Report Format" when editing a report and have an option for Interactive? When this is enabled the output of the report is immediately displayed in web format with hyperlinks to automate certain tasks by sending a back-end task/script to the agent. For example: Report Interaction Script Task (Relayed to the agent) Applications link next to each agent to uninstall the application Assets …

It would be nice to have a have a way to send a message to users through the PC monitor agent to the users letting them know that a system outage has/is occurring and when it is resolved. Currently we send an email out with the outage information, however, if email goes down, we do not have a determined notification process. such as snapcomms.

Hello, I'm doing a trial of the Pulseway system at the moment and would love some feedback form users. Are people monitoring Linux boxes? How is this working out for you. We are currently using Site24x7 but are in the need for a change. The majority of our servers are web servers. When working in the PSA, I find it takes around 4 or 5 seconds before an action is done and it moves to the next part/page - anyone else expierencing this issue? Is this normal/expected? Thanks

It would be beneficial if Pulseway had its own URI handler so that given something like <a href="PulsewayRemote:c1ff43df-5f0d-40d1-be9d-06055047d1aa">MYPC <br> SystemIdentifier: c1ff43df-5f0d-40d1-be9d-06055047d1aa</a> Would launch a new instance of your remoting desktop application and connect to the System Identified.

  8. Currently when searching the list of Hardware assets by category or by any other field, then this search option has to be repeated for every record which needs to be edited. As soon as you go back to Hardware assets view it is no longer filtered by category, therefore search should be repeated. It would be much better to search all records at once and then edit them, rather than perform search each time when one record needs to be edited. This would improve the user experience.

  9. Started by Matto,

Would it be possible to expand the number of API endpoints available for the RMM? While the API is useful for gathering information about systems, it doesn't have much in the way of being able to perform many built-in operations that exist in the web application, like check for and install patches, run single line commands on the system, being able to run scripts on a system and not just tasks, add tags to systems, etc. This would be great for creating custom automation and would help with removing a lot of tedium in cleaning up small alerts.

Are you every going to introduce run scripts as current logged in user ?

  11. After playing around in my trial account for a bit, I have a few suggestions regarding policy configuration. Allow the creation of policies that inherit settings from other policies and track which settings were overridden. This would allow MSPs to create one or two "Global" policies (Servers/Workstations) as a base, and then create individual policies (for each client) that inherit settings from those global policies. Allow overrides to policy settings on specific systems, track which systems have policy overrides in place, and allow reverting the overrides to the policy defaults. Allow attaching scripts/tasks to policies to run during on-boarding (as …

Currently, any machine that is offline displays only the last know public IP address. It would be very useful if it could display all last known information. Such as serial number for example.

  13. I was getting the policies configured for my new setup and I noticed that Patch Management only allows you to select categories of patches and just decide to install them as a whole or not. Unless I'm missing something, there's no ability to approve or deny patches on an individual level. This is a somewhat vital part of any RMM suite as we may often need to decline individual patches that are known to be causing issues (a common problem with Windows 10 these days.) I'd say this is something vital for Pulseway to get implemented as I've worked with a number of RMMs over the years and it's the first one I've seen that doesn't offer this.

  14. I was curious if there was a way to display multiple screens on the remote desktop for those that are working from home. I know about the toggle but I mean simultaneously, much like the Chrome Remote Desktop or even if we had to remote into the same machine twice and use two windows (which would work perfectly). It would make a lot of peoples life easier particularly during these times!

  15. Hi Team, I wanted to request that Frontapp be added to the 3rd party management tool since we have about 150-180 users who use it. https://frontapp.com/ This is becoming increasing necessary since we are adding remote phone system to the Front app . Let me know if there is anything i can do to facilitate this need. Thank you, Sean Faria

I noticed that there is no Asset info section for Linux agents. Can this be added? I know that the Dev team relies on OS built-in commands to gather hardware and BIOS info for this section, so I wanted to offer some insight on how to gather hardware and BIOS info in Linux using built-in commands. Here is a gist outlining the basic commands for your Dev team reference: https://gist.github.com/flatlinebb/87bba149eed8ce91b8553c20dfae027d For those that do not want to click on a link to an external website, here is a snippet: How to view the system specs in linux Open terminal and type sudo dmidecode --type. Don't click Enter yet! after --type, you can wri…

  17. I would like to request the ability to setup a system (server) as a central repository for patches and software per customer/site. Figure this could be along the lines of a probe node. A good example of this type of configuration would be ManageEngine's Desktop Central. This type of setup is a nice solution to reduce Internet bandwidth usage and allow direct management of the packages (software deployment).

  18. Hi. If it is possible I would like to exclude full automation scripts from the diagnostics log "trace.log". In normal situations it is fine with just an indication of the execution with the script name. I guess you could add one more checkbox like "Include full Automation Scripts" in settings, and let it be disabled as default. Best Regards, Martin.

  19. Hello, I would like to see the ability to run dual screens viewable at the same time on the remote control. That way customers who need to run dual screens and have to work from home arent stuck playing swap between screens. I think either opening a second connection to the computer with one of the separate screen would be fine, but maybe there is a better way like how Remote Desktop works or Google Chrome Remote Desktop works.

  20. Started by longyklee,

Due to ads on Linus Tech Tips, I wanted to try out Pulseway. I currently run a Synology NAS at my house, but unfortunately I cannot find any version of Pulseway dedicated to Synology NASes. I would like to ask if there is a workaround (maybe a .pat file) or if Pulseway is officially implementing this feature soon. Thank you!

  21. Often, we like to initiate chat before we access a users system. It would be nice to be able to start this chat from the remote control app as it is closely tied with the remote control features.

  22. In trying to diagnose systems, often we need to be able to connect to a system before the user prompt for login. This allows us to see statuses of updates, rollback errors, etc.

  23. Adding the ability to make an API call\web post as a remediation step in workflows would allow for more 3rd party applications to be tied in with the solution.

A Dark Mode option for both the RMM Web UI and PSA UI would be nice.

Hello Currently only 2 options are All Tickets and My Tickets. Could you add a "Open Tickets" view? Ideally, we could create our own filters, but currently tickets are not sorted by date, so I can have a dozen closed tickets, before coming across 1 open one.
