General discussions about using Pulseway

Is there a way to easily check which tasks and scripts have ran for the past xx days with its status for a particular machine? I would have expected to find it when selecting the machine amongst all the other information Instead we have to go to Tasks , and then Execution History, but it is per task, and there could be hundred of executions for that task, and we need to open then one by one to find the desired machine. Not easy Basically, very quickly, we want to check what has ran or not, and if the tasks were successful Thanks

Hi. We now have various systems running the upgrade to Windows 11. Despite the global rule 21H2 --> Don´t Install Can someone please send (urgently) clear, complete instructions what to do, how? Group policy is out of the question as some devices are running as workstations. I hope someone from the tech team will take care of this entry. And no, users did not click "Update".

Hi there, I've recently started using pulseway again after mostly phasing it out of my use in my home environment. I'm aware that you've changed policy and now no longer have a free tier, although users who previously signed up still have access. I would like to know about the process of converting my existing free tier account over to a paid account as i've already hit the limit of two endpoints again which stopped me from fully adopting pulseway the first time around. Looking at the pricing it seems you have a flat fee rather than a per-endpoint. What is the total number of endpoints included in that plan? And how would I go about transitioning my account…

Is there a way to display time stamps on reports? For instance, when running the the CPU use report - the graphs is great and all, but it would be nice to have some more data like time of day. Or maybe at least can I find out when the agent polls the server?

  5. Due to an issue this month with the Windows updates on some domain controllers I would like to pause (skip) the scheduled updates I have set in Pulsway this month. I assume I could just change the scheduled time to next month but would be way simpler to just be able to click pause. Is there a pause option? Do i need to change the scheduled time of the update or is there a better way? Cheers :-)

  6. You can now discover computers from Active Directory through the Discovery & Deployment probes if they are a domain member. Additionally, you can now deploy the Pulseway Windows Agent through Group Policy Objects for all domain-joined computers or for just a selection of Organizational Units. This will automatically enrol newly added computers in Active Directory to Pulseway and place them in the correct Agent Group which in turn will apply the endpoint monitoring policies, optionally install an antivirus product, and start managing operating system and 3rd party patches too.

How can I produce a report that shows activity on an endpoint? The audit report only shows current status. I would love to be able to show my customers: On this endpoint, this month 9 Windows updates were installed 4 3rd party apps were patched 2 new apps were installed 1 security event was resolved and these scripts were run 4/1/22: Backup - successful 4/2/22: Backup - successful Configuration - successful 4/3/22: etc. Every script run should be shown. If scripts were run as part of a task, a workflow, or manually from the UI, they should all be shown with date/time, script name and result. …

I have 2 systems that keep going on / offline in Pulseway. It's 1 physical system with a VM. It'll go off/on every few minutes for about 30 secs. Then stop for a while and start doing it again. Not at the same time either. The physical machine will show offline but I can still interact with the VM. Never experienced this issue before. I tried to restart the systems but didn't help. I reset the network they're on but that didn't help either. I believe it's an issue with PulseWay. Should I try to uninstall / reinstall?

Hi Folks, I've recently deployed Pulseway, and getting my staff to start using "Request Support" feature. Is it possible to have the "Request Support" set to a different priority than the default of "Normal"? For example, set it to "Low" by default? Are there any customisations available regarding the priority levels? For example, can I insert a custom priority & set this as the only option for "Request Support"? Thanks.

  10. Hello. Just started with Pulseway.... I have several ipFire firewalls that I need to monitor. I have already "tried" a little myself. However with moderate success. SNMP? SSH? I must say that I don't know anything about SNMP. Also I don't know the possibilities... Therefore... to come to a result... - Does anyone happen to have the ipFire - Pulseway constellation in use? - Can someone help me directly? - I would want to pay for the performance! Gladly! I would like to have a solution! # Questions - Is the system online? 5 minutes - alarm - What is the core version? (cat /opt/pakfire/db/core/mine) - CPU, RAM, HDD --> nice, but not necessary. …

  13. Good morning, we use Pulseway for our customers, they are then billed by us per server and per client. Is there an easy way to see which customer has how many servers and how many clients?

  15. We had a user who somehow got upgraded to Windows 11 over the weekend. She swears she didn't click on the update to 11 icon in the taskbar. In Pulseway, our patch policy she is assigned is set to install all updates including Optional. When I look on my Win10 laptop under Windows Updates > Optional, Win 11 is in the list. Does this mean users will get upgraded? If so, everyone needs to be aware. Pulseway, anything in the works to block this? I'm not afraid of 11, I just want to roll it out in a more managed way esp since we have to upgrade SSLVPN client after upgrade to 11.

  16. Hi there! I haven't started using Microsofts AutoPilot (part of Intune MDM) yet, but I'm considering to do so in order to make the "out of the box"-experiences easier for both myself/IT and the end user. However, I don't want to hand over a new machine to one of our employees without knowing that Pulseway is installed and functional. I guess Intune can do some installations like the ones currently being handled by Pulseway, so some people may find this unnecessary, but we're currently managing as much as we can through pulseway (scripts, patch management, antivirus, remote control etc) and I'd like to keep it that way as much as possible while adding the benef…

  17. From the : Get Start" page , I was asked to fill " company email address" . even when I fill with " personal" in " business " section , the webpage will not let me go to next page . From another route, I managed to setup an email address ,user name and password , and have completed the email confirmation process However when I used the App in phone , I still got " Account error" with the user name and password. Is Pulseway now a pure business program?

What is the proper way to disable a system from running network discovery probes? I no longer need device discovery on a network, and have removed the system from being designated as a probe, but it is still running scans daily via 'C:\Program Files\Pulseway\Probe\Nmap\nmap.exe'.

  22. I have an ad-hoc report that I want to use to give me a list of all the recurring contract details. I can use the column "Service" from the category Finance>Recurring Services Contract Details. But I also want to display the columns "Service Name" and "Description" from the contract. How can I add fields to my report?

Hello, I'm trying to find where to run an uptime / downtime report or get some type of history (graphed would be excellent). I assume I'm just missing it somewhere, seems like a pretty fundamental feature of RMM. Thanks!

  24. This is becoming a growing issue for us, to the point where I'm actively looking for alternative solutions. Remote control works great for Windows computers. But for Mac OS...not at all really. Maybe 1 out of 10 times will I actually be able to connect to the Mac. And even then, oftentimes my mouse wont actually be on the remote screen where it shows up on my side. I just don't know what else to try.
