Is there a way to monitor a service and started automaticly if the status is stopped. is this possible natively or does it require some kind of manual schedulet task to make this work? if it requires a schedulet task then this could be seen as feature request to create a automated service restart rule into the rules.

Hi We're looking for a way to monitor our client UPS' using the PulseWay Monitor. They are all connected to customer's servers using either USB or network. Is there a way to use PulseWay to monitor these, and to then alert us if there's an issue / event? The UPS' are all APC based. I believe we can use the SNMP module to do this, but my testing so far has been unsuccessful. Thanks Matt

Hi Guys, Apologies in advance for the long post. I've been playing around with Automation Tasks and wanted to know what will cause the task to be flagged as failed or successful. Basically I created a test task with a test machine in a test scope, added a bunch of random scripts to the task and ran it. All looked good and comes back as executed successfully. It wasn't until I actually go into the Execution History and look at the output that I find that some haven't actually completed successfully at all. One example is the Clean Temporary Files powershell script in which it receives an "Access Denied" message but continues on, I'm guessing due to the "…

Hi. By default, when adding Pulseway agent to a machine, and monitoring services, it monitor all Automatic services. Thats fine. Some services are Automatic, but not started, as they get started as an when needed. Then I have a manual task of unselecting the services that are on Auto, but not started on all machines, so that the Pulseway agent does not trigger an alert, for example, "Software Protection" Then a couple days later, I get an alert stating the service I asked PW kindly to stop monitoring, is now being monitored, and has stopped!! Grrr.

Having trouble finding where to do an exclusion in KAV for Windows. KAV quarantined some files that are required for some X-Ray software on a client. Need to make sure these files are not treated as a virus.

Hi, I've been using Pulseway for a few years. Never noticed any real issues. For some reason my monitored processes are not generating notifications when they close. Just for the sake of this post I've chosen the calc.exe process in windows server 2012 r2 and have pulseway 5.3 installed: If I start of by deleting any existing monitored processes then select "calc.exe" from TM..... Then restart calc.exe...it will generate an alert for the first start of calculator. But it won't do anything when I close calc.exe again. Then it won't work at all until I delete and re add the monitored process. Can someone please help me out and list reasons why th…

I have Webroot on most of my servers and workstations. Recently I have noticed a discrepancy in the WRSA process usage. If I look at the process in Pulseway, it will show the usage to be a lot higher than the process view on the device. Example: Pulseway will show webroot is using 1140 mb and on the device it shows 36 mb. I can kill the process in Pulseway and it then will mirror the device fora short time before it returns to the discrepancy. Has anyone noticed this?

Hello, I figured I would re-post this issue we have been having. Only to solve one issue this time. I have successfully uninstalled the pulseway application from a user's computer that was having major issues. (Deleted all pulseway services, related folders, and registry entries). However we are unable to install the program again. The user is using Windows 7 64 bit. Please assist, as I don't want the users PC to be not monitored.

Hey, If we receive monitoring emails from pulsway, they are blocked by the spam filter. Our spam filter is at normal level. I have had contact with our provider but that can not be changed. Hello! I started testing PCMonitor a week ago and I am very pleased with what it's offering except one thing ... I'm really missing an insight of monitored system history (uptime, cpu/memory usage etc.). It would be really cool if there were some graphs so that you could see how did the server behave through time. You do show a graph of cpu/memory usage, but that is like 30 sec or so which doesn't tell you much in my opinion. Can we, if we buy enterprise version of PCMonitor, configure it to retain information we are interested in in database and build a custom application upon it? Regards, Davorin

We have a server with a lot of brute force attacks RDP: 3389 SQL: 1433 We can see in event viewer two repeated events (failed loing attempts) eventID: 4625 Microsoft Windows Security Auditing eventID: 18456 MSSQLSERVER We want to receive a notification when we receive "5 o more" failed login attempts in RDP and SQL. Can we use "Pulseway Counters" or "Pulseway evenlog"? How?

I was installed Pulseway on 16 Servers 14 show online 1 show offline but it was online from yesterday dashboard flashing up offline so I was deleted from server group and no idea how could I add back this server again to dashboard.Last server I just installed pulseway 2 hours ago wont cameup in dashboard yet. Hello, I have two devices that I need a notification when a ping to them is successful. In normal operation, both IP addresses are off. But if ther eis a problem the IPs may come on, and if they do I need a notification. Any Ideas?

Hi there, Is there a way to change access/notification settings for multiple associated accounts at once (like a bulk select)? I know I can bulk select machines, but this is still done at an individual account level. When we have multiple users (set up for auditing purposes), whenever we add a new system we have to go through each account and grant them access to it. Thanks again guys for all your work!

I spent a while trying to find this issue here but didn't so I need to ask: How can I ensure the Pulseway service stays on for each of the remote devices in my domain? I set them all up and now many of them are turning off all by themselves. Some won't stay on at all.

Hello, I've just started using this software and think it's great and it will save me a lot of time, especially for installing Windows Updates. It works great for installing critical & important updates. We run Windows 7 Pro on all of our computers and I was wondering if there is a way to install the optional windows updates as well? We get notifications of systems going off line and they generate a ticket in the Pulseway PSA ticketing system. But if that system comes back on-line and shows a normal status, it does not automatically complete or close the ticket out. Right now we have to manually go in to each ticket and close these tickets. Is there a way that the system can automatically close these tickets when their status changes to normal?

Is it possible to monitor the internet speed? How do I configure that? Is it possible to monitor Backup exec? How do I configure that?

I am curious to know what you normally do to onboard a client i.e. 1. Install Pulseway on the computer 2. Create local admin account on computer 3. Push AV on computer 4. Run hardware/software inventory 5. Install specific applications 6. etc...
