After we stop Pulseway service either via Services-Stop or with PowerShell, a minute a two later the service starts running again. Why does it start again and how can we avoid that?

Dear Pulseway Support, In the Windows policy we have enabled a couple of events (e.g. To detect if someone has unlocked Windows - EventID 4801). However, now we would like to forward it through Pulseway, but it doesn't seem to be triggered at all while they are being displayed in the Security Windows log... The following has been configured in Pulseway (Event Log Filter): Event Log: Security Level: Information, Audit Success Event IDs: 4801 Notification Priority: Critical And on top of that, would it be possible to forward this notification via an email? Dear Pulseway Support, At one of our customers we accidently clicked on "Disable Pulseway User Agent (pcmontask.exe). From this moment we aren't able anymore to remote access the PC. Now we need to ask the customer to 'Enable' it, but I'm hoping that something else is possible, to enable it somehow from remote (via PowerShell -> Registry)?

When setting up patch policies, Office 2019 and Office pro plus are there listed underneath the third part apps to update, What can I do to get Office 2016 listed there that way all of our Office products are being updated.

Looking at these forums it is quite clear that the search function doesn't find currently logged on users. However I haven't been able to get it to work on manually set custom fields, notes or tags either. Is that also not an available function either? Edit: Never mind I see it now, its part of the drop down itself.

Its not very well documented but the following will work for removing Pulseway via the terminal tool in the Webapp. (note this is actually several commands strung together in one line) sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.pulseway.PulsewayHelper.plist && launchctl unload /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.pulseway.PulsewayHelper && launchctl unload /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.pulseway.PulsewayCommandHelper && rm -v /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.pulseway.Pulseway*

If I make a change to a policy those changes are not getting applied to the end servers. I have double checked that the correct policy is applied to the correct server under the configuration tab. Any ideas

Hi, Years ago when I first setup Pulseway there was an issue highlighted on the forums with servers and hard disk monitoring. It was advised at the time that you should disable this feature otherwise the HDD will get hammered with requests. I cant remember the actual reason in the forum post, but wondered if there we still known issues with having this enabled on production servers?

Hey guys, we had an issue for quite a while now regarding installed KAV licenses on devices that we are not able to access anymore - either the client removed the device from support before we were able to uninstall the Pulseway agent+KAV license or the device has malfunctioned and rendered obsolete. We do realize the proper procedure would be to uninstall the PWY agent and with it the KAV license goes too, but there are cases when it just isn't possible. Regarding the agent, it is possible to remove the device from within the ACCOUNT - MANAGE SYSTEMS - REMOVE SYSTEM part of the dashboard, but no such feature is available for the AV licenses. I am using a script to install rclone on servers when they are onboarded. The URL for the preconfigured rclone package is defined as a Global variable. Hello, I get Detection notifications from KAS through pulseway. The files are then found to be already in Quarantine Backup. The Status is QUarantined. The Date of the notification is current although the files were quarantined many days before. Deleting the notification results in a new notification. Is there a policy setting to prevent this, if not then how is it handled? Also Is there a setting to expire the Quarantined Backup? To clarify I want notification of the detection and that it is quarantined. But do not want repeated notifications after it is Quarantined

It seems as though, if I onboard a system that takes my total over my existing Pulseway license count, the new system does not appear anywhere in Pulseway. The new system will only appear if we upgrade the license count. There is no notification that there are systems pending a license. No alert, or error message to tell a user what they need to do. The Pulseway Manager indicates the new system is registered correctly and, again, gives no indication that anything is wrong or that a license is needed. Is this working as intended? If not, what am I doing wrong? If so, could you fix it? It's completely daft.

Hello, I have a question about the Pulseway app. When the pc is on all of the commands work great and are perfect for managing the pc. But I am attempting to turn on my pc when I am away from my home and then be able to fully control it like I was there. The issue is how the wake up command from sleep or from powered down will not work even when on my home network. How can I fix this. Also a side question, is there a way I would be able to see a live view of the screen or does it only allow screenshots of the screen. Thanks

I have pulseway set to send me a notification for critical updates. Normally windows defender definition updates would not fall under this. Over the past couple days I have started to get notifications for when these are released, which is many times a day. Is this a bug that these are now considered critical? If not a bug and is something new and intentional is there any way to exclude these?

We reinstalled Pulseway on a re-imaged system and after the install we noticed issues. In the patch mgmt section, the status was "assign failed" in red. We rebooted the system and then the service was not starting. We checked the service, it was set to start automatically and in the event log it was generating this error: "Service cannot be started. The handle is invalid" We removed the system from Pulseway, uninstalled, and reinstalled. Service is starting normally, but still getting the same issue of the patch policy failing to assign. I tried moving the system to another group that did not have a patch policy at all and got the same result.

Hi Team! I'm working with workflows for the first time to automate simple incidents such as disk full - and have a few questions regarding conditions. This workflow in the screenshot has a few steps above it to clear out temp/cache/defrag, then it gets to a condition that determines if the notification should be removed or set to critical. When executing this workflow on a system with less than 1% disk space, the OS disk was at 60% free space, yet it ran the "fail" actions instead.
