Bottom line... can i change the computer identifier to something new? I am using a copy of a VM.vhdx to create a new secondary VM. However, the computer identifier is the same on both after setting them up. What do I need to do to create a new computer identifier? Deleting and reinstalling Pulseway is not enough, it still shows up with the same one. I assume somewhere deep in the registry I need to delete some things to stop this from happening. Thanks

I have an issue with WIndows Group Policy Unattended Installation. The initial package installed correctly, I created a transform file with Orca and successfully rolled out PC Monitor to the desktop PC's. I noted after a couple of weeks that not all of them seemed to be auto updating correctly,when a new release came out so I downloaded the up to date MSI and in Group Policy selected to redeploy the application (I tested this in a test envirumnet first and it redeployed Ok) however on this domain it appears to have partially uninstalled the application so the files have been removed from c:\program files etc but the PCMonitor still appears as a service although obvious…

I'm using the PC Dashboard with a direct internet connection (behind a firewall), but it throws a connection error (295). Is there a document defining the ports that need to be open for the dashboard application? I also tried to use our MS proxy server, but that also throws an error "(407) Proxy Authentication Required", despite having the correct details in there. Help!

Hey forum, When I click "Next" to start the installation of an agent on a certain machine, I immediately get the error "The installer was interrupted before Pulseway could be installed. Hello, I created a GPO to install the Pulseway_64.msi application and modified a few things via Orca. However I don't know what values to modify so it installs the Pulseway application for all users on a machine. Any assistance on the issue will be a big help.

since I renewed my subscription yesterday 2 of my servers are having the same problem. In the event viewer I get 3 information notifications, the first one is event ID 0 service started successfully, the second event ID 24001 new update found and the third service stopped successfully. I am using Version 3.2 build 4668 on Windows server 2008 R2 64 bit. Any idea what could be causing this? cheers

Hey guys, Almost at the end of my trial period and liking almost everything I see so far, with two nitpicks. One is the lack of file transfer, but I'm told that's "on the roadmap." The other is "unattended installation." To me "unattended" means someone just has to run an executable and it works. For example, I'm coming from Meraki Systems Manager. They produce an installer that is account specific, so I just need the person at the remote machine to download and run that file, hit next next next, and then the agent checks in with home base. Title says it all - new install on the first Authentication panel when entering account details. I am using my main pulseway account login detail as I did with the first system I registered which is working fine. This is a second system I am adding. I am currently testing PC Monitor on a workstation. When I do a proper Start=> shutdown, I get an email (shutting down). When I get back into Windows, I get an email (up and running). When I pull the plug on the workstation (simulating a sudden stop), I don't get an email telling me it is offline. Is it possible for PC Monitor to send out an email for abrupt shutdowns? I've seen other simliar PC monitoring programs linking two workstations together allowing for systems to monitor each other and send out notifications if a system suddenly shutsdown. Thanks.

I'm new to Pulseway and need to deploy it to a number of customer servers, hand-configuring each one is going to take quite a bit of time, and the group policies section does not provide configuration of server modules. Can I customize pulseway.pcmcfg and use it as a new installation template? Am I able to trim down the config file to only the items I need to change/configure?

Hi, The remote desktop tab in the Pulseway manager displays greyed out options. I'm not able to tick or untick the "Enable remote desktop" despite being an admin. I managed to enable it using Powershell. However, I now have the problem where the "Ask for user confirmation before allowing any remote desktop session" is also greyed out and "deny the connection" is ticked. Is there a powershell command to change it to "allow the connection" please? Thanks in advance.

But i want to configure the android app so that i can wake up my computer with the mobile network on my android phone. With another app it works fine cause i can use my dyndns adress. We host our own Pulseway server in our office. Everything was working fine up until yesterday when all the systems we monitor (Over 200) stopped responding. We checked the server (Windows Server 2012 R2 64Bit) and everything was fine, no errors. We checked the SSL Cert and it too seemed ok as it is not expiring until 2019. We restarted the server (Like that helps...) but still no joy. We keep getting the error: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority 'pulseway.micronetcomputers.net'. Hi all, fairly new user to Pulseway here. I have my customers up and running with some "standard" configs I made by exporting/importing them as I went. That's was all pretty smooth. Now I would like to make a change to a customers computers - specifically I would like to monitor for a running service. I can see how to do that by going through each machine from the dashboard and remotely editing the config, checking the service to be monitored, turning on service based alerts - and this all works. But I'm looking for a way that doesn't require me go to each computer one at a time. I looked into Pulseway Group Policies but they don't seem to be able to control tha…

Hello, Still testing this great app, but I have a question: I can select te services I want to monitor, but how do I get a warning/notification when a service is down? When I do a test on (for example) DHCP service, I can start and stop is via webUI and iPhone, but when it is not running (as a test) we don't get a warning of notification. Is there a script or task that can enable the User Support Request feature if it was not turned on during the initial Pulseway Manager installation? This would be very convenient vs. having to remote in to each machine and configuring each client.

If I use Group Policy to push out a configuration change to PCM clients via registry, does PCM automatically start using the new configuration, or do I need to bump the PCM service, or open & close the GUI?

Notification on when a website or app pool is down is the main reason I'm looking into this software. Originally I shut down a single site for 30 minutes with no alerts to mobile device or email, I've had IIS completely off for the past 45 minutes with no alerts of any kind. Is there something I'm missing?

Hello, after installing Pulseway Agent on a Server I got following message when registering the machine: There was no endpoint listening at https://ourcompany.pulseway.com/Server.svc ...... There are other servers in the network where the installation did work without any problem. I have set proxy settings, without any success.
