cjs1976
Hi, it seems that Pulseway has some troubles monitoring a simple harddisk (or solid state disk). Are there any solutions? Thanks, Christian.
Administrators Paul Posted February 13, 2017 Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2017 Hi Christian, Are you referring the hardware monitoring (temperatures / remaining life) or to the free disk space monitoring? What is the manufacturer and model of your SSD? -Paul
cjs1976
Hi Paul, I want to know if the harddisk is ok or if it has any failures, especially for RAID. I got to know if the disks are there and ok. Thanks, Christian.
Administrators Paul Posted February 13, 2017 Administrators Share Posted February 13, 2017 For RAID monitoring we've seen successful implementations through SNMP and Event Log. I could give some examples if you would tell me what RAID adapters you're using. -Paul

Administrators Paul Posted April 12, 2017 Administrators Share Posted April 12, 2017 Hi Cor, You should be able to monitor the Samsung SSDs through the health checks, if you want to check the RAID status please tell me what type of RAID adapter do you have? @cjs1976, try the OIDs from this page for the DELL server. -Paul
