The service ran fine until a couple of months ago, but I did not notice that it had stopped working until recently. I thought the issue may have been related to the name changing from PC Monitor to Pulseway so I first tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application, but the installer failed stating that a step that could not be completed. I then searched for and removed files and registry entries relating to PC Monitor, PCMonitor, Pulseway, and MMSoft and was able to reinstall the application. After entering my account details, I am able to validate my account but the service still will not start. Here are the lines in trace.log: 7/21/2015, 17:22:35.10…

  3. I recently upgraded my system from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro and the service for PW ("PC Monitor" to be specific) no longer starts on its own. I have a backup of starting the service manually if it is not running each time I log in or every morning if system is already logged in. Another issue with Windows 10 is the UAC for starting services which is another issue all together. Why is the service no longer able to start on its own. I can go into the services.msc and start it manually.

In the event viewer I get 3 information notifications, the first one is event ID 0 service started successfully, the second event ID 24001 new update found and the third service stopped successfully. I am using Version 3.2 build 4668 on Windows server 2008 R2 64 bit. Any idea what could be causing this? cheers

  7. Started by SyntechCS,

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue recently. Yesterday I installed Pulseway on 4 computers, installed and activated fine but after a restart they all showed offline and when I checked them the Pulseway service hadn't started. After an hour or so reinstalling and disabling other start-up apps I found that the only way to get it to start on a reboot was to set the service to Automatic-delayed start. This is obviously not a specific computer issue as it occurred on 4 different machines all installed one after the other, the only similarity is that they're all running Windows 10. I suppose it's possible that a recent Windows update or even a Pulseway up…

  11. Problem - when a service stop, pulseway do not send Notification... Process Notification do not send Notivication, if process stops...

  12. Started by Piers,

I have a policy applied to all workstations which under Notifications > Storage is set to send a notification when a non-system partition has less than 25% (this value doesn't matter for now), however I have one workstation where I want to change this value. I can do this using the Pulseway manager, but this involves logging onto the computer to do it. When I change this setting via Pulseway Manager I can see that it adds an entry in the registry under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\HDDList - so in theory I could script this/do it remotely without interrupting the user to log onto their PC to set it, however I can't see where the Id0…

  15. Started by Ikaika,

I've just deployed Pulseway on my office's workstations and configured the AV and patch management schedules, to run after the staff have left for the day. However we have a company policy, that came from the owner, that office computers need to be shutdown at the end of day, and stay shutdown till the start of the next day's shift. I know WoL could be used to turn the machines back on for the tasks to run, what I'm unsure of is how I can have the computers shutdown again when the tasks are completed. I had thought about changing the schedule so that both events take place on the same day and setting up a scheduled task to shutdown the computers at midnight, but in …

I added two switches to one of my Pulseway clients to monitor over SNMP. I added the agents in server modules > SNMP and then added the triggers in Notifications. I pulled a power cord on one of the switches and the alert tripped right away sending notifications to my phone and dashboard. I pulled a PSU cord on the other switch and no alerts. Looking at the values (3 is working correctly) I see the PSU value has changed to 5. Obviously out of tolerance but no alerts. I then recreated the variables for the agents seeing if something went wrong. Now the switch that didn't alert the first time alerts but the one that was working doesn't alert. Can someone…

Hi, I have pulseway on a Windows server 2016. The cpu is a Cpu is Xeon E3-1285L V4 3,4 GHz and the cpu temp alert is activated with a threshold of 92°C. Sometimes (couple of times per day) I receive pulseway alert that the temp is higher. If I check the graph it is only a spike (attached). Is there a way to set pulseway to send an alert only if the cpu temp is higher than xxxx for xxxx secs? I would like to filter the spikes.

"The paid Team plan is designed for MSPs and IT departments and offers a collaborative environment with multi-account management, Remote Control and additional features such as Audit Log, White Labelling and much more. The Team plan starts from 20 endpoints. The Starter plan allows 2 free endpoints and maximum up to 19 endpoints." How does this work please - is there a pricing difference ? What happens when you buy your 20th licence - do you automatically move to a Team licence ? Many Thanks

Hi, I setup PC Monitor a while back and it's been running fine. However one thing that's been bugging me for a while is that I still keep getting alerts for something I turned off weeks ago. I set a monitor on Free memory, below 2%.... As these machines run SQL server, it quite often munches all available and I can live with that. so have turned that monitoring off. But despite reboots, restarts etc. I still get the alerts. Any ideas on how I can turn them off? Thanks Phil

I've been monitoring a few test systems during my evaluation. How can I remove these systems from being monitored? If I uninstall the Manager app, I can't manage my other systems anymore. Or in other words, how do I stop monitoring a machine?

  25. I'm reasonably new to PW. I've just on-boarded 50 endpoints, and it automatically monitors Automatic services. That great, but Services like Bio-metric and Remote Registry; whilst configured as automatic, aren't always started.. So constant notifications. I know how to remove the service monitor, but is there an easy way to exclude certain services from being monitored globally?
