In order to import a Pulseway configuration file you need to start PCMonitorManager (Pulseway Manager) from Pulseway's installation directory with the following parameters: PCMonitorManager.exe /config=C:\Configuration\NoPassword.pcmcfg If the exported configuration file contains the account details then you need to provided the configuration password as well: PCMonitorManager.exe /config=C:\Configuration\WithPassword.pcmcfg /configpassword=s3cr3tpassw0rd Note: The PCMonitorManager will not provide any console output or custom exit codes based to indicate the success of the operation.

I have setup 2.7.1 on my WHS and enabled the lock to prevent changes. When I login to this PC and click here to allow changes a window pops up for the password. I input the password that should be setup and it doesn't accept it. Is there a way to reset this password?

Hi there, I installed Pulseway Manager 64-bit on a Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server. I can open Pulseway Manager without any issues. But once I fill in my account details and press " Validate Account " I get the an error as shown in the added image. I've already installed Pulseway on about 20 servers ranging from 2012 R2, 2008 to 2003 32-bit without issues using the same credentials. Does anyone know what causes this error and a possible solution? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I would like to move away from using TeamViewer. LTT was just advertising Pulseway, I thought I would try it out. I installed the Remote Control Desktop client (6.6.3) and the Dashboard client (6.5.1), and proceeded to set up an organization, group, site, and policy. Then I downloaded the "Agent" client to the desktop I would like to be able to remote into. I installed, registered my product, assigned it to my group, and checked the "Enable Remote Control" box. I was under the impression this is all I had to do. Although both the Remote Control Desktop and Dashboard show the computer, I'm unable to "Start Remote Control Session". It's grayed out. Interestingly,…

Hello and TYIA~ I am trying to put together a work flow that will hold a ticket for 7-days once we believe it is complete. Once assigned to a particular status, I would like the ticket to stay open for 7-days, then if there are no further updates, close itself. Does anyone have anything like this they wouldn't mind sharing?

Hey guys, I'm fresh to Pulseway, and I must say this stuff is an eye opener to our current remote access tool!! I do have a few questions that I would like to ask before converting our 100+ devices to Pulseway. We have a satelite PC's and laptops that we want to install Pulseway on (which we would do unattended for the majority of).. Without having to go into each and every config afterwards and password protect the config with 'click here to prevent changes' and lock it down - is there a global change option that we can do for this? - the issue I have is with leaving this open is that someone only has to make changes to the username, password and servernam…

Hi all, fairly new user to Pulseway here. I have my customers up and running with some "standard" configs I made by exporting/importing them as I went. That's was all pretty smooth. Now I would like to make a change to a customers computers - specifically I would like to monitor for a running service. I can see how to do that by going through each machine from the dashboard and remotely editing the config, checking the service to be monitored, turning on service based alerts - and this all works. But I'm looking for a way that doesn't require me go to each computer one at a time. I looked into Pulseway Group Policies but they don't seem to be able to control tha…

Hi, I use Pulseway only for parental monitoring, so my kid won't play online games instead of studying when I am not home -I get notified when he launches the game program and then I can kill the game from my mobile phone-, but the little bastard learnt to kill all processes in task manager before playing. I know Pulseway creates an entry in the task scheduler to launch "watchdog.bat" if it goes down, but, I don't know why, but watchdog.bat no longer exists in my pulsway folder (I reinstalled it just in case, but no, no watchdog.bat). If I create a task to launch PCMonitorSrv.exe and pcmontask.exe every minute they would not start, so I assume they must be launched …

How can I set an alert so that when a Win10Pro Administrator level user account logins I receive an alert? Side request: does anyone know a way (Win10Pro) to give a Administrator Level User Account Runas ability while setting deny local login? I understand it might be possible via a GPO? I have a location (Peer-To-Peer) where all the Windows User accounts are being set to Standard Users and they will have a 2nd User account in some cases to allow Runas ability. However, I'd prefer to not allow the Administrator level account show on the login screen as an option. Another option might be to use the new Automated features to trigger a logoff when a Administrator le…

We've used one single installation package which we've distributed via our old RMM. After the systems have been installed we've manually moved them to correct Org/Site/Agent Group. However, pretty much in the midst of this installation, I renamed the Org/Site/Agent group which we used for installation which resulted in that we can see a number of systems (100+) have the Pulseway software installed, but they are not visible in Pulseway. So somehow they are connected to a specific name of Org/Site/Agent Group. How can we get those systems visible? Do we need to recreate the old names of the Org/Site Agent Group? If so, the problem is that I don't have…

Has the 8.8.11 Agent update changed the behavior of the -support flag I'd heretofore been using with pcmontask.exe to bring up the Support Request window? I can confirm that "C:\Program Files\Pulseway\pcmontask.exe" -support still brings up the Support Request window in 8.8.10. If this is a permanent change, is there another way to bring up this window? Clients found using the taskbar icon to request support frustrating as Windows often shunts it to the "hidden items" section, or the icon is simply not visible, so as such I'd been using the aforementioned desktop shortcut with the -support flag. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

More and more, we purchase laptops and get them delivered directly to end-users. As par of their initial setup instructions. we send them the URL for the correct group so they can download and install the agent. However the process is quite chatty. Would someone know the syntax for URLdeployment for silent installation? Is there also some sort of flag in the syntax to disable the user to open the agent and change settings themselves? Thanks

Hey, I'm trying to do my first installation of Mobile PC Monitor agent on a Server 2012 Essentials box. (Latest agent downloaded from the website today) The installation goes through to the end and PC Monitor opens up to the main screen where you enter in your account details etc. (The Installation window is still open in the background) As soon as that screen is up I can't do anything, can't click on any tabs/buttons etc and can't switch to other windows or programs, nothing will respond except Alt+Ctrl+Del. From there I can open Task Manager and kill the PC Monitor window. However then the installation, that was waiting in the background, comes up with an error say…
