Hello, I'd like to use PSA to track incremental billing against a fixed price contract. Kind of like a reverse retainer contract. Instead of being paid upfront for the retainer and chipping away at it with billable labor I'd like to create a fixed price contract for a specific value then bill against that contract normally until it hits that fixed price limit. Any labor against the fixed price contract after the limit would be zero. Thanks for any ideas/help!

Hello! We just got PSA installed and working, now we're wrestling with auto-assigning / auto-queue routing. Does anyone have some tips on how to get this working? I've been trolling through the manual, and checking the docs and forums, and I thought I had it narrowed down to Admin -> Business Processes -> Workflows, but that thing doesn't quite seem to have what we'd normally use (i.e. Enchant, SupportBee, Freshdesk all had a "If subject contains (your word here) then put in queue (your queue name)", where as I can't seem to find the analogous setting in PSA. Appreciate any help in advance! Mario

Hi, I'm importing inventory products using the API. You can set product cost from each supplier and also your sell price (Pricing level). But i can't find any way to set the Cost variable that is used as the actual purchase price: You can put in the prices for each supplier, but how do i use that as the cost for the product? The rest of the values can be set when adding or updating a product using the API Url: "https://server_name/api/inventory/products/" You can GET the Cost by using the API Url: "/v2/inventory/products/{productIndexId}/defaultcost". But i can't find any Url to post and update the cost.

Hi, I created a quote, and followed the process to importing the final invoice into QUickbooks and I get the following error. 2/3/2018 6:17:41 PM-Invoice# Inv_3 - Failed to Add Line Item (3-Port Hubble wall plate) - Missing Income Account Reference - Check your Billing Configuration. The issue is that I did not use the Inventory to create the quote at first. I just used Items and filled parts and prices there. I noticed I can not add Income or Expense accounts to the items I enter under "Items" in the quote. My question. How to I set a default Income and Expense account for "Items" in a quote so I can import the invoice into Quickbooks…

We are looking to use PSA but we need a better way of making tickets that as easy to use for our techs on the road. Features such as Location based customer selection for Ad-Hoc tickets Adding signatures to a ticket directly from the app. Allowing the tech to fill in Start and end time for tickets nut just start time and duration. Adding pictures directly from the app. Or a way to do this from different apps probably by using PSA API to send the data to Pulseway. With enough information we're willing to code the app ourselves if this is possible.

You can place it under the customer? For example: I have listed "printer brother" for 100 dollar in my inventory hardware list. Customer1 needs a new printer. Engineer1 takes the "printer brother" and placed it at the customer. What should the engineer1 do now. Create a ticket and he can add the "printer brother" from the inventory in the ticket. I have set up a workflow rule to send me an email whenever a new RMM ticket is created. The problem is that it only works half the time. Other times no emails are arriving in my inbox. I can check the Audit log and it does indeed trigger the workflow rule, I am just not getting the emails. I've checked my junk mail and quarantine, but there is nothing there. Also when doing a message trace I am not seeing them. I've already tested changing the outgoing email server in Settings to use smtp.office365.com, but that doesn't seem to be making a difference. Has anybody else seen this?

Hello, I need the ability to set up ticket templates that only a few members of my organisation can access. For example a "New Starter" or "Leaver" template pre-populates loads of info, saving time for my admin team, but if I give everyone in the organisation access to these templates they will do what people do and attempt to circumvent the admin team. Is this something we can see in the near future? Seems like a simple enough thing to implement. You already have a couple "share with..." options on the template creator menu, perhaps we just expand on this a bit? Thanks

Hi, In V4.0.17 the following was added to the release notes. Time Zone and Date/Time format for the Client Portal can now be configured via new fields on Account Location. (BMS-5337) (Tine Zone and Date and Time formats) I do now see Time Zone under CRM - Location for all of my clients, but it is blank. Is there a bulk way to change this for clients, or do I have to go into each client and make the change manually? If it is manual, can I suggest in the future when items are added that we can be given a way to bulk change information. I have way too many client locations to click and change the Time Zone info. The phone that was registered with pulseway PSA was migrated to another device, which moved most of MFA codes except what seems like Pulseway PSA codes. I cannot login to psa portal with no recourse or a way to fix this. What are the steps to get this resolved?

I'd like to make a request to add the following to a future release of Pulseway mobile app. We definitely love the mobile app as we can do many things on the go but we are missing a few items that I think would be beneficial: 1 - When viewing your own tickets there is no filter option. Completed, assigned and new are all displayed. 2 - Cannot assign Issue Type and Sub-Issue Type

Setup a workflow like the attached images, then respond to a ticket with [#CLOSED] and the PSA will change the ticket to completed for you. Yes, use the brackets and everything in your reply. Change the workflow and hashtag to do what you want, I may add one for escalation next.

It is really great that you have made it so that a helpful bubble thing is available to start a chat anytime, even though there may be no one avaialbe to chat with. But, I am totally not enjoying this helpful chat bubble widget right now. As helpful as that chat bubble has been, I want it gone or a way to turn it off.
