I signed up for a free trial a couple of hours ago, and the iOS app seems great (but for a couple of bugs), but the Windows browser based interface is just awful . The scroll bar is exactly 6 pixels wide which is so thin that I can't hit it accurately. The normal browser scrollbar is 20 inches wide (IE and Google chrome), so you made it 70% thinner for no good reason. Making things worse, the space bar and the down/up arrows can't be used to scroll the window either. After playing with it for about 10 minutes, I just gave up. This is just poor interface design. It seems that you concentrate on mobile apps, but the Windows interface could really use some work. …

Hello, When examining a connected computer under New Systems (Beta)/Systems/<Machine Name>/Printers I can only see "local" printers (Send to Onenote, XPS writer and Fax). The network attached printer (shared from a local server) cannot be seen. Is this by design or a yet to be implemented feature? Appreciate your time in reply.

Any ideas what's going on with the main PW website? I've been getting 403's since last week. (tested from multiple systems, sites) If i keep trying, I'll sporadically get good pages, but not often. Finally got my account renewed after 3 days of trying.

Hello, I've had a couple of occurrences lately of a remote desktop limit violation, with the error message "There are too many concurrent remote desktop sessions for this server.". While the message is obvious, as far as I'm concerned we shouldn't be near the 5 session limit we are licensed for. Is there a way to establish what connections are open and by whom? Kind regards

I'm a little frustrated with the fact that I can't monitor RAID configurations and Drive failures and also can not monitor host resources on ESXi hosts. I love the remote features but does anyone have suggestions on how I could monitor RAID arrays remotely. Hopefully via Pulseway. Actually very frustrated Over this even though the product is good in other ways.

I have the Pulseway agent installed on 4 servers at one site. I was checking my weekly firewall report and Pulseway has sent/received 204GB of data in one week. This amount of data usage seems very excessive. Is this normal?

IOS app updated to 4.9 today. The server apps did so a few days ago. I noticed the extra features described on the server apps first, but couldn't see any trace of settings or config for them in the application. In IOS we now have a "Tasks" icon on the main toolbar. And in it some sample automation tasks, and some sample reports. But I can't see any way of adding or changing either. And I don't even mean radical changes, even what surely are intended ones .... reports->templates->sample: Update for All systems. I have been searching for a way to have my Mac Pro running 4D Server app notify me if the server app has "hung" or crashed outright. I am not a programmer, but simply a small business owner trying to stay on top of the systems we have. Having stumbled into Pulseway this week, I am so far impressed with its capabilities. It looks just like what I need! However, I could not find a way to tell it to notify me if my database app runs into trouble. The physical machine is extremely stable, but I am grateful for the notifications that Pulseway offers in terms of dismounting volumes, failing drives, etc. My one last need is to be notified if the server application hangs or …

Maybe someone can shed some light on this. Using the PSA system, I have gone several times now into the Service Desk module, selected hardware assets and assigned them to their respective clients. Every 24 hours or so, as I am entering in tickets and trying to assign a hardware asset to those tickets, I am finding that a bulk of the hardware assets are reverting back to my company as the client asignee. I have have to repeatedly go back and re-assign those hardware assets back to the clients. Besides the colosal waste of time, it makes me wonder if any other information is not being retained in the databse. Any clue? Shawn

Hi guys I have a client PC on W7 Pro. Customer reported that the PC rebooted on its own. After this incident I can not see the pc on pulseway. I have updates locked down so I can remotely choose which ones to install. Haven't been on site yet to examine the logs, doing it tomorrow anyone seen this problem before? After installing some new software (not related to Pulseway) a reboot was required. As it happens, the server went down and no notifications were sent out. Looking at the Pulseway manager it looked like it was monitoring the server, however i got NO notifications about the downed server. When i ran a service pulseway restart... i quickly got a notification that the server was on-line. That seemed to resolve the problem. My question is why does Pulseway not automatically do a restart when the machine is rebooted? Is this something i need to do every time a server is rebooted? I use Jenkins when i need to run mass jobs on our servers. Should i create a job that …

I have Webroot on most of my servers and workstations. Recently I have noticed a discrepancy in the WRSA process usage. If I look at the process in Pulseway, it will show the usage to be a lot higher than the process view on the device. Example: Pulseway will show webroot is using 1140 mb and on the device it shows 36 mb. I can kill the process in Pulseway and it then will mirror the device fora short time before it returns to the discrepancy. Has anyone noticed this?

Hello, I figured I would re-post this issue we have been having. Only to solve one issue this time. I have successfully uninstalled the pulseway application from a user's computer that was having major issues. (Deleted all pulseway services, related folders, and registry entries). However we are unable to install the program again. The user is using Windows 7 64 bit. Please assist, as I don't want the users PC to be not monitored.

Hi. By default, when adding Pulseway agent to a machine, and monitoring services, it monitor all Automatic services. Thats fine. Some services are Automatic, but not started, as they get started as an when needed. Then I have a manual task of unselecting the services that are on Auto, but not started on all machines, so that the Pulseway agent does not trigger an alert, for example, "Software Protection" Then a couple days later, I get an alert stating the service I asked PW kindly to stop monitoring, is now being monitored, and has stopped!! Grrr.

Hi Just taken on a client with laptops that have encrypted hard drives. They need a password when starting up so does anyone have experience/ideas with regards to remote support and monitoring. I use Pulseway to apply Updates, for example, in an evening but with many needing restarts I'm then unable to check all is well before the start of the next working day. Cheers, Andy

Will activating a device in Patch Management override the default behavior on the target machine? IE, if the client is set to receive all updates automatically and the policy is set to only check once a week will it stop the updates defined in the client without manual intervention? I assume that's the purpose but just want to be clear. What if updates are configured by GPO? Will it still override? Thanks

Hi, I see we can share computers between logins for Pulseway RMM. Groups and Tags are also shared between users. How can we share scripts and other items? I have been putting in Scripts for everyone to use, but I am the only person who can see them. We have 4 techs at this point, do we need to add the script 4 times in the RMM? The only solution I can thin of is to have everyone login into the RMM as the same user, so we can all share everything. Gary

Hi, We install RMM agents to all systems from one account, and then share the systems to other accounts to manage who manages what. The Patch Management "Agent Status" only works for the user who installs the agent. BUT, creating policies can be done by anyone. And the Policies are shared between all users. Is there a reason only the person who installed the agent can apply Patch Management via the Agent Status link? Also...The "Patch Policy" link on the Android App does not show up unless you are the person who installed the RMM on the client system. But all other features are there. Hi all I'd love to see a way to exclude certain patches from alerts and reports. More specifically Windows Defender and Windows Malicious Software removal. Since we use Webroot, Defender is not needed, yet every single day all my systems are showing at least 1 missing Important update (Defender). It is therefore virtually impossible to create a report with a good overall score. It also creates too many notifications. It would be great to have some sort of override options to be able to exclude certain patches.Or maybe we can separate critical and important alerts in notification, as right now they are treated the same.
