Hi, is it normal that PCMonitorSrv is hanging on so much DISK READ I/O? It consumes 90% of all disk I/O reads on Windows Server, where all Windows services, Exchange and Oracle DB do not consume alltogether the rest 10% disk I/O:

Hi there, I have installed Pulseway on 2 PC's and according to my subscription page. I get 2 free licences. I was using Pulseway quite successfully last night till I received an email saying I had reached the Notification limit and to remove this limitation I should consider getting a subscription. I have logged on today to try and purchase a subscription for 2 licences as luckily that is all I need at this stage but due to it saying the first 2 agents are free I can't purchase a full subscription for just 2 licences How can I get unlimited notification for my 2 free licences?

We reinstalled Pulseway on a re-imaged system and after the install we noticed issues. In the patch mgmt section, the status was "assign failed" in red. We rebooted the system and then the service was not starting. We checked the service, it was set to start automatically and in the event log it was generating this error: "Service cannot be started. The handle is invalid" We removed the system from Pulseway, uninstalled, and reinstalled. Service is starting normally, but still getting the same issue of the patch policy failing to assign. I tried moving the system to another group that did not have a patch policy at all and got the same result.

In tying pulseway to our PSA we need to know the frequency at which the endpoint communicates with the pulseway server in order to update stats like CPU/Memory Usage/etc. Can this be customized or can they be force updated via script?

Hi This morning all of my servers went through patching critical updates - the policy says install critical updates and reboot if necessary. When I checked the policy listed "updates marked important, no updates installed" but the machines all rebooted? - That seems weird to me as I would not expect and also do not want a reboot if no updates are installed. Is that a normal behavior?

Hi Team! I'm working with workflows for the first time to automate simple incidents such as disk full - and have a few questions regarding conditions. This workflow in the screenshot has a few steps above it to clear out temp/cache/defrag, then it gets to a condition that determines if the notification should be removed or set to critical. When executing this workflow on a system with less than 1% disk space, the OS disk was at 60% free space, yet it ran the "fail" actions instead. Are conditions re-evaluated at the time of execution, or is it based on the agents status at the time of workflow execution? Next question: Is it possible to log the results in your…

I am working on building an Ad Hoc report in PSA to be able to list on-hand products and serial numbers assigned to that product for inventorying purposes. I know the Serial Numbers are tracked, and are listed when deploying them as assets in Service Desk. Is there a way to get that information to display in a report to possibly inventory product & serial number?

Hi, I'm studying Pulseway, so far I liked the way to monitor Sqlserver with custom queries. It's all I need for Sqlserver. But, so far, I didn't find a way to monitor Oracle Database. There is a way to monitor Oracle? Even with custom script? Thanks in advance. D.

Hi there, This might be a bit of a long shot - but I have an end client who's interested in deploying custom Teams issues with Pulseway (as there aren't many users in-office for obvious reasons). I've attempted to deploy this by pushing a batch script, to copy the backgrounds from a shared location. The backgrounds folder in question is located in the user's roaming appdata (%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams\Backgrounds\Uploads). For this reason I wasn't able to use %username% correctly in my batch script, as the script is being run by some Pulseway service, rather than as the local user account. Please let me know if you've any ideas and have a great day. …

Hi all, I hope you're having a great day and are keeping safe. I'm having an issue with setting up email notifications via SMTP to Office365. I've followed the document on setting Pulseway up to talk with Office365. I've also been in touch with support on this and haven't been satisfied with their answer. Have any of you linked this up successfully? If so, which IP addresses do you have whitelisted? Is there anything obvious I'm missing? I've set up a relay and can't see any attempt at mail delivery via 365. Cheers! Joe

We have Webroot added to Pulseway One of the systems we added is now obsolete and we would like to remove Webroot from the system If I try to remove it from the Webroot section in Pulseway, it won't allow it, as the system is offline If I remove the system from Pulseway altogether will the Webroot association be removed automatically too? Thanks Colm

Is there any way to create an automatic - daily or weekly - report listing a particular type of notification? In my case, I'd like to report the ping notifications which I use to check connectivity of remote equipment. I see how to save them as csv files, but that needs you to remember to do it regularly and assumes that no-one has deleted the notifications.

We recently started trialing Pulseway, hosting it on our own platform. We use Cloudflare for DNS. If you haven't used Cloudflare, it basically uses caching and proxy technology. Obviously, with Pulseway, you can't do that. So we disabled the proxy route (for now). Cloudflare has the ability to create rules to bypass the proxy/caching features, but still provide security. Has anyone used Cloudflare before, and has anyone used it in front of a Pulseway Server? If not, my thought is if anyone is interested in working on this together, we could. Employing Cloudflare's security could be a huge benefit for security, and the best part, most if not all of it would …

Hi I am trying to deploy a new solution on my systems and I thought of a combo Chocolatey + PulseWay in order to facilitate deployement. I managed to install choco using the command: @"%SystemRoot%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe" -NoProfile -InputFormat None -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Command "iex ((New-Object System.Net.WebClient).DownloadString('https://chocolatey.org/install.ps1'))" && SET "PATH=%PATH%;%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\chocolatey\bin" When going to the targeted system, I can use choco without any issue. However, from the terminal or scripts in Pulseway, the command "choco" is not recognized. Would you have any idea wh…

When remote controlling into our office PC's the middle mouse button will not be recognized and there seems to be no input while clicking the middle mouse button. Does anyone know if there is a work around to allow this type of input. This will would be a pretty crucial operation while using certain software that we use while remote controlling each PC.

I am evaluating Pulseway and understand that for various reasons Windows Feature Updates are not included as part of the automated or manual patch management. I was told that they can be distributed via a Pulseway script. Two questions: Has the community built/shared such a script? Can the update be downloaded once and installed enterprise wide, thus eliminating the need to download these large files multiple times? Thank you

Hello, I've been trying to turn on my computer when I'm away from the house using both mobile data and another WiFi connection. When I'm on the same network the wake up command works but if I'm using mobile data I'll get the message "Wake up command failed" and when I'm on another network it says "wake up command sent" but nothing happens. I have the necessary port forwarded (UDP 9) and through the Pulseway android app port monitor I can see it works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
