I am getting a Notification for low disk space from one server, where I have removed all configured Storage Notifications. This is on a Windows Server (2012 R2) I had two storage notifications set up. One for C: drive and one for E: drive. The E: drive one was set for notifying when storage dropped below 25%. I wanted to change that to "less than 10GB" so made that config change. However, I kept getting the Notification for "below 25%". I have now removed all Storage Notifications, and I'm still getting the "below 25%" notification. Is there a further 'clean out' that I can do to stop this 'phantom' notification? Cheers, Geoff.

Hi, For many servers I want to disable the 'Send a notification when updates are available with priority' option. I would like to know if there is any PowerShell command which disables this function in the Pulseway Manager (Agent)? Kind regards, Laurens

Can I set it up so that it notify me when print queue is > 1 for any length of time? Basically, I want to be notified if my printer is being used and not necessarily limited to duration of # of print jobs. Thanks in advance!

I'm going under notifications and Processes to create a process notification. When I click 'Add' and then 'Select from Running Processes' I only get a list of 4 processes. I'm using windows server 2012. Any idea what I might be missing here? What I'm trying to accomplish is: Whenever a specific application is off for about a minute, send an alert. The file can be in multiple locations, as it's location is based on the currently deployed version, so I can't monitor a specific file.

Using USB external hard drive as backup devices and each drive can be recognized if manually added to the notifications/storage screen but I need to know if there is a way to set this to be automatic when the drive is replaced either daily or weekly. Also, where would this be set globally for are servers being monitored. Currently have 8.6.8. Thank you, Todd Kollars Onsite IT Services

Hi Pulseway I am trying to enable 2FA on an account. When i try to add the device as a trusted device, the device is gryed out and says: Two factor authentication requires push notifications which are not enabled on this device. App permissions are all allowed and notifications for the app is allowed. I have tried to uninstall the app and delete the device from the web-app and reinstall the app again. I cannot get the Samsung Galaxy A10 to be validated as a push-enabled phone. What can i do? Best regards Joachim Riisager

Hi all, I've been a satisfied Pulseway user for a while but I have a question that's probably more related to my phone platform (Android 5.x) than Pulseway itself. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get any good ideas from folks on the Google forums, so I'm hoping a sysadmin or two here might have some usable suggestions. The problem is pretty simple: I need to receive Pulseway email alerts during the overnight hours when the phone is in Quiet Mode. I don't want any other alerts, from any other source, to come through--no SMS messages, general email alerts, Facebook/Twitter blips, IMs, etc--just Pulseway's email alerts. Back when I had a BlackBerry that was simple …

Hi I have a computer that I allow to go into sleep mode (Suspend). The annoying thing is that I keep getting repeat notifications through out the day saying that the "computer in the group default is offline. Anyone know how to resolve this issue please? James

When I first setup my trial account a few weeks ago, I setup an offline notification for one of my PC's. This notification would alert me 15 mins after losing contact with the PC, and then every 10 mins thereafter. Sometime in the past week or so, this behavior has changed: It now sends one alert around 15 mins after contact, with no follow-up alerts. I can't find any documentation stating that this behavior should have changed, nor can I find any setting to revert back to the repeating alerts. Has this functionality been removed?

How does the S.M.A.R.T disk notification work? I have over 200 desktops with this checked to send me a notification if triggered. I have had multiple hard drives go bad without one notification. I have even installed Acronis hard drive monitor on a drive and it comes back with errors, but still nothing from Pulseway.

Select who gets notifications for policies set i.e storage threshold reached notifications. so when we have devices at a certain percentage all our admins get notified, we want to add a distribution list as the recipient of the notification

I am trying to set a notification for when the cpu gets hop but I have no clue how to go about doing this! The android market add descriptions says you can do this but I don't see anything in the notifications sections that implies that it actually does this.

I found an interesting use w/ the Ping notification (with help of another in the forum) feature of PC Monitor. I am currently using it to monitor the "ON/OFF" status of my WDTVs, net connected TVs and android phones in my wifi network. I basically setup my wifi router to assign monitored devices with specific IP based on individual MAC address. It is easier to deal w/ IPs than the resolved network name since not all devices can resolve to a name on the network. After that, you can setup these IPs in the Ping notification entries in PC Monitor and assign them appropriate alias such as "Living Room TV" etc. You will then get notification when these devices go online…

We've noticed a possible issue with local space monitoring. A server RAID controller went off-line(failed), the array disappeared, and we didn't get a notification of a disk space fault. Which is probably normal as the drive letter never hit our free space threshold. I was thinking of setting up a rule to monitor many drives and have it fall under 1 event. But performance counters seem to be based entirely on performance, and not appearance. Is there some place else where we can monitor local storage that turn up MIA?

Would anyone have list of the available notification types? Here are a few I'm hoping exists. Alert when someone signs in/logs into a machine. Alert when someone signs out. Alert wen machine is powered on. Alert when password is changed. Alert when someone uses the machine unexpectedly (without consent, such as remote users). Please let me know if these are supported. Thanks.

Hello forum, Lately I encountered a machine that couldn't monitor CPU-temp. There were just no devices in the hardware list when I tried to set the notification. The machine in question is an HP ProLiant DL380 G4 and the OS is installed directly on the machine, not using Hyper-V or similar software that could mess up these kind of sensors. Any ideas? - Jaapyse

Hi, My objective is to monitor Veeam backup and agent jobs in the most efficient way. Since there's no feature to monitor Veeam backup, the only way I know is to make use of Windows Event logs. When I tried to setup a new policy I found out that Pulseway web app only allows you to monitor "Application, Security and System" event logs. Problem is Veeam event logs are stored in a separate section under Windows event logs (Application & Services logs -> Veeam Backup). So according to my understanding this wouldn't work for Veeam. The other possible way of doing this is to configure to monitor Veeam backup event logs from the Pulseway Manger in a server…
