  1. Suggest ideas on how to improve Pulseway

  1. Hi, I recently switched to using a Chromebook as my main device and was hoping to ditch TeamViewer as my main remote support app, but I have just realised that Pulseway does not have a remote support function for me to remote from my Chomebook onto any other devices, like TV does. Would be great if you could add this ability please.

I don't know why, but i have very low notification sound. It would be nice, if i could change it to my own .mp3 or whatever else file i have on. Thanks, good luck! P.S It think the native android notification sound is not suitable for this things. For a critical errors i'd like to have possibilty to set my own mp3 file with a siren or some loud noise.

Hello fellow forum readers! The new policies setting within Pulseway seems like a good step forward, great job on that! Now on to the request part of the post; It seems silly to just be able to assign a single policy to a customer. A better solution would be to allow multiple policy settings to a single Agent Group. This way you can specify a default policy for all customers, and finetune the policy for specific solutions. In the customer only policy it would be possible to filter out specific errors, which are a known feature for the particular Agent Group. Looking forward to a response, Alex Grolleman

Hi Guys, I realize this feature is on the road map for a future release, but could you please provide an indication on how long it will be before remote desktop assistance is available to mac clients? I love using Pulseway, but not having this feature is a major disruption to our ability to support our remote clients using this platform. Thanks in advance, Grant.

  5. I might have missed this one, but it would be great to be able to restrict where the notifications are sent. Example: We have 4 servers, two in Norrköping and two in Stockholm. I would like to be able to send the notifications from the servers in Stockholm to the guy in Stockholm and not to me as well.

  6. Hello, I would love to see a rule added to the patching policy where you could filter patches by date. For example, only install patches that were released before a certain date. This would allow you pick a date that you were going to role out to your different environments and make sure you were installing the same patches on all systems (Dev, Test, Prod, etc) even if patches were released during the time you were moving from dev to prod for example.

Client Portal is a good idea for very small sites, but if you have hundred of users it is not usable at all. Ideally, everyone should have access to the Portal via the icon without having to be setup at the back-end and required to log in. A default menu (populated with scripts, etc) should be available to all users. If it is not possible, an accessible workaround would be to integrate AzureAD with SSO and SCIM, so users are created/removed automatically and can login with no effort As it is currently, the client portal is not useful to us at all...

  8. Hi, it would be very helpful, if there would be the possibility to sort the tables with a click in the column header. Thanks, Christian.

Moderators, if this is not the right forum, please feel free to move it. I'm looking to see if anyone has integrated IFTTT into your workflow. What I would like to do is, upon receipt of certain alarms from the RMM, trigger an IFTTT recipe. From there what happens really isn't important, but it has to do with notifications to my NOC. I imagine I could setup a separate email or text alert and have that fire off the IFTTT recipe, but I wanted to see what everyone else is doing, if at all. Thanks!

  11. I like automation and workflows but it has one big drawback. It can only run PW scrips or linux bash scripts. we cannot fire off any pulseway RMM internal functions. for example. Lets say when a computer checks in i want to launch a 3rd party Patch Management policy. Right now i can only do this on a timer or manually or set the policy for if missed, i can not make this part of a workflow. another thing i can't seem to do is have a workflow repeat. For example. i have a workflow that says when a computer registers it checkes and installs updates. Oviously for windows this needs to be done more than 1 time. I cannot find a way to have it check and then reche…

  12. Greetings All, I'm a new Pulseway PSA user, just getting familiar with the product. I'd started by using the To Do List as a repository for my master list of tasks for clients. Some of these I had linked to tickets. The other night I accidentally marked my whole list of To Do items as done. I went to the Already Done tab and saw the "Remove All Done" button, selected all items and clicked it. Doing this permanently removed all my completed tasks, including those attached to tickets! Support has informed me that restores, a) involve restoring the entire SQL DB for 4000 and extracting my data from that, and b) incur a significant fee I'm st…

Especially on our own server instances. It's not like the namespace is shared. What do you do with names like Tim Wah or John So ? Me: Hi there Mr Lu, welcome to our MSP. Your username for our RMM tool is wanluxxx. Have a nice day. Mr Lu: ... Where do I submit my resignation?

The following Features would be great to see added Select which items can generate notifications and certain hours, for example, i don't care if something failed to ping at 3am but i might want to know if a server goes offline at 3am. So i want to be able to pick and choose certain items and which hours those notifications are active. ping but do not notify (just to view when needed for troubleshooting)

  16. Started by Greg Weides,

Would be nice to have a configurable pop-up with some basic troubleshooting steps such as "Please restart your system" when someone opens a Request Support window from the tray icon.

  17. I would like to request the ability to setup a system (server) as a central repository for patches and software per customer/site. Figure this could be along the lines of a probe node. A good example of this type of configuration would be ManageEngine's Desktop Central. This type of setup is a nice solution to reduce Internet bandwidth usage and allow direct management of the packages (software deployment).

  18. Currently when an agent is offline you really don't have that much information. Like maybe the agent is offline becuase it was out of memory of diskspace Or show some meta data of the computer, what kind computer is it, system information.

Hi, It would be really useful to have a record of the commands typed or favourite commands you can just click on (perhaps a 1 to 5) into terminal for Linux based systems For example cat /vat/log/syslog. Kind regards, Peter.

  21. Often, we like to initiate chat before we access a users system. It would be nice to be able to start this chat from the remote control app as it is closely tied with the remote control features.

I would like to be notified when QuickBooks and QuickBooks Enterprise needs updating, if it can not be done through pulseway, then a "notification" would be fine. I have a lot of clients that uses QB and this will prevent them calling me, and this allows me to do my job better and faster. Thanks

In the mobile phone app you can go to device and then run a script could you add scripts to group tasks from the mobile app? when on the road it would be good to run a script on all devices in a group. otherwise we have to go into each device to run the script thanks phil

  24. Started by Spicy Support,

It would be really good if when you use the chat feature, it would send a notification when they respond. Saves hanging around the chat window or having to pop back in to check if they have replied. The ability to add custom responses in the chat window (i.e Have you reboot your PC? etc), saves a lot of typing for the standard things we save in IT support.

  25. Hi Team, Can we have an event log for when Maint mode is triggered or removed? Not a bad thing to have when tracking a problem but also we can then use things like automations based on events. It would be good if it said which user triggered it but even just a simple maint mode on / off with a standard event ID would be amazing. Use Case: Medium to large organisations have lots of people managing servers even third parties. By seeing who / when a device was put into maint mode it would help track changes. Another key use is that if i can trigger an automation based on Pulseway maint mode i can have it do various things such as se…
