Hi, it seems that the Notifications -> Event Log -> Event Log Filter is one of the usefullst things for me. Now I need to know, if I can use wildcards. For example: I use Altaro VM Backup for my backups. I searched with EventLogSourcesView for all possible sources on my system. In the moment I use this list: "Altaro Offsite Server, Altaro VM Backup, Altaro VM Backup Controller, Altaro VM Backup Engine, Altaro VM Backup Hyper-V Host Agent, Altaro.HyperV.WAN.RemoteService". It would be easier, if I could just say "Altaro*", but I don't know if this would work. Thanks Christian.

Is it possible to set notifications remotely after pulseway has been installed? I have been looking over the manual and forums and have not found anything.

Hey Forum, We have a lot of notification pairs that are hardly relevant because they are pairs. E.g.: a ping doesn't respond for ten minutes and than it comes back again. Personally I don't mind these because it gives me a better understanding of what's going on in my networks, but my employer heard from the reseller that a simple script can delete the notifications when a pair forms. I do have to admit that it would be nice if rebooting a server wouldn't make such a mess of these notifications. I was told to look into implementing it, but I can't quite find it. Does anybody have any suggestions? Is this even a real thing? - Jaapyse

Ok, So I am trying to schedule Windows updates for some of our clients using the web app. However the only option it gives me is to install them immediately (At least to my understanding.) Is there any feature that lets me schedule them during a down time such as late at night.

Hi, I am trying to setup this ping monitor for like 30 ips, i already put it at 1000ms and 1 min, but it keeps on saying pinging error. When I do a continuous ping in command prompt the results are fine.

Hi, I'm trying to setup pulseway to monitor a UNC path and when that path is no longer available to send me a notification. The problem is that I CANNOT ping the path due to security reasons so I will have to use UDP to watch the path. I cannot find where to do this. Ive tried the ping options with no luck. Any ideas will greatly be appreciated. Thank You Tony

Hi I am currently testing Pulseway Remote Desktop on my own network and have RD, Manager and Dashboard installed on both Windows 7 and Windows 10 PC's. Both systems can see each other in Manager etc. but when I launch an RD session I get the error, "The agent failed to start the session" any ideas. Thanks in advance, D.

We host our own Pulseway server in our office. Everything was working fine up until yesterday when all the systems we monitor (Over 200) stopped responding. We checked the server (Windows Server 2012 R2 64Bit) and everything was fine, no errors. We checked the SSL Cert and it too seemed ok as it is not expiring until 2019. We restarted the server (Like that helps...) but still no joy. We keep getting the error: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority 'pulseway.micronetcomputers.net'. Not sure how to repair this.....any help would be great. I read through the blogs but so far nothing is helping. Thanks, …

Hi there, I installed Pulseway Manager 64-bit on a Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server. I can open Pulseway Manager without any issues. But once I fill in my account details and press " Validate Account " I get the an error as shown in the added image. I've already installed Pulseway on about 20 servers ranging from 2012 R2, 2008 to 2003 32-bit without issues using the same credentials. Does anyone know what causes this error and a possible solution? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have set up 1 system with Server 2016 Std that i would like to monitor and remote control via the Pulseway features. Everything is setup fine and i can connect to the server via the Remote Desktop Client and the Dashboard. The only thing i cannot do is connect to the Console session because i cannot get the Send Command (from a Windows 10) to work. I can see the Servers Desktop but cannot send the CTRL+Alt+Delete command to start the login process. I have checked the manual and rebooted the system /Regards Daniel

Good Morning (Australian Time) ive started using Pulseway for a few of my clients and have found that if i reboot the machine, Pulseway doesn't automatically start up again on two of them, was wondering whats going on, one is a win 8.1 machine the other is win 10. If i manaully log onto the machine i have to open pulseway and press start services for the device to start responding to dashboard, remote control etc..

I want to send a batch file command through jenkins that will alter the config files for all the windows machines (i do this easily on my Linux machines). Reading through the documents here i see instructions for importing config files but that is it. Am i supposed to create my own config file and import it into my pulseway file? If so how do i go about this, I am having trouble understanding where to go from here. Thanks, Aaron

When I install this way: "\\GP1-LAB-FSVR01\Software\Pulseway Agent\Windows\Pulseway_x64.msi" /qn username=my user name password=my password group=Default server=my enterprise server a folder is created and I can access it, but there is no desktop icon and it does not appear in the programs and features section (when i look to uninstall). I am attempting to do a mass deploy of Pulseway across multiple windows machines using Jenkins via batch or powershell. I have two PCs on my local network, 1x Windows 10 home - wakes via 4G cellular network and local LAN 1x Windows 10 Pro - only wakes on local LAN I've tried forwarding port 9, checked that the NIC settings are correct (magic packet etc...), made sure the drivers were up to date, disabled fast boot (though it is enabled on the one that works) and checked the Pulseway settings (same for both PCs). I can't work out why one wakes and the other doesn't. The both have the same type of NIC. Any help?

Hi, Long time user just for my home systems and just built a new gaming rig and installed Pulseway and as per the title am unable to set a notification for any hardware monitoring on the CPU, which is an I7 6700k ? I've installed Pulseway and rebooted but no joy? Running on Windows 8.1 Pro adn when viewing the new device in Pulseway monitoring it show the CPU usage (%) and the BIOS version etc. but unable to add the notifications? I know both the Motherboard (MSI Z170 M7) and CPU (Intel i7 6700k Skylake) are very new, so is it just an update of Pulseway needed or am I missing something ?

Where are these values set? I can see the System Manufacturer, but nothing i change in the registry will get the model to change from "To Be Filled by O.E.M" - I'd like to get my motherboard model in there.

Hi All, I have a handful of computers and I only have remote access to them. Is there a way to import/push a config to a site without having to "log on/load the app/import config"? I can edit the config settings remotely but cannot import remotely. Can this be done? Thanks Tony
