  2. Hello to all, I currently have a problem to deploy the agent on a machine. I have activated the Administrator account on the machine, but nothing works. I created another administrator account but still this error: "We couldn't access the admin share (\systemName\admin$) on the target system." I would like to understand in order to be able to do a mass deployment in the future. Sincerely

  3. Hello everyone im trying out Pulseway right now but i wanted to give you a nice idea how you can push software to clients in an easy way. You could use chocolatey and then just open a powershell session and type for example choco upgrade all -y to upgrade all applications installed to latest version. You can type choco install 7zip -y to install 7-zip. and so on. You can read more at chocolatey website. You can also set up your own repo for software and updates. Im using proget to host my internal choco server. Just my two cents

  4. Hi I had MPM installed on a Windows PC that had its harddrive wiped. I have a backup of the files that were on it. I never did export my settings while everything still worked. Which files do I need in order to get my previous settings back in a new installation of MPM on the same computer? Or how do I get my settings back?

Thanks

  8. Hello all, I have been deploying webroot to a few sites through pulseway. This is the first time I have had to manually install webroot. Webroot would not install through pulseway on three computers. The manual download installed immediately and began a scan and reported into the webroot console. In pulseway the status for all of these was install failed and there are no actions available. I waited quite a while and no change. To get actions available I then installed again thrugh pulseway which imediately worked.

  9. Hi, Today I get notification that server is offline. I connected to machine via remote desktop and everything looks ok, server has internet connection but i can't validate my account in Pulseway Manager. I get timeout error (screenshot in attachment). No changes were made in firewall. Pulseway is working properly on different server in same location/data center. Adam

So following the directions it's pretty odd. Installed the Agent/Desktop Manager on a test server and this is what I'm getting... Cannot validate, though the service starts anyway (I though in the directions it said machines wont populate unless the service is started and the service won't start unless validation is complete. All I'm getting is a constant username/password error. Even after password resets. Current passwords on 2 different accounts allow me to login into everything else, Dashboard etc...Go figure... So yeah, no idea what the deal is here.... Regards, Joe W

Hi guys/gals, I have a client that in the past i made a user account for so he can use the windows app store Pulseway to keep an eye on his systems and it worked great. I gave him access to his group only. However, he brought me a new system that I added the agent to but this system does not display in his app. (It does in my systems fine, but I am an admin and he is a user) Where do I go to set what systems he has access to view? I have picked through all the settings and just can't find it again like I did initially several months ago. I just figured that since he should have read access to his group...and this new system is IN his group, it would appea…

I am experimenting with a trial account and trying to configure offline notifications, and I can't get them to work. I have checked "Send a notification when the computer is offline" under notifications->status. When I shut the machine down, it correctly shows as offline and greyed out under Monitored Devices, but no notification gets sent. Test notifications work fine, as do a few others in the list (e.g. removable disk insertion). Is this a limitation of a trial account or am I doing something wrong? I couldn't find much in the documentation to help troubleshoot.

  13. After receiving a verification on my phone I get this nasty gram. So far: .Net 4.0 install was blocked because a later version was already installed. So I don't think it is a .net version issue. Any help would be appreciated. --Tim I blocked out the server name to keep it annonymous I blocked out the server name to keep it anonymous. Also, please ignore the localhost:8443 page. It is irrelevant as far as I know.

I have several computers with pulseway that have either stopped working or reporting. When trying to reinstall or uninstall it pops up an error: Error 1001: Exception occurred while initializing the installation: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly file:///C\Program Files\PCMonitor\PCMonitorSrv.exe' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Is there a way to manually remove the application and then install it back? Thank you for your help.

Hi. I have been using a free version and it has been amazing. Unftortunately, after I have upgraded my Win10 laptop to Win11, it's not working. I can start the manager, but I get the message that the service is not installed. Uninstalled everything, downloaded Pulseway_x64.msi and I get this error when trying to install it. After that, the old version cannot be removed. Please help. I have Windows 11 Pro 21H2.

Hi there, I'm wondering if someone here could help me out. I was just installing Pulseway on a server and the installer crashed part way through. So now the service is on the server (but not running) but the rest of the application is not. So if I re-run the installer it detects the presence of the service and stops, saying that Pulseway is already installed. But I can't start the service because it detects that the program files are not there. Likewise, because the program files are not there Windows doesn't show Pulseway as a program I can uninstall if I wanted to clear everything out to get a clean start. Can anyone suggest a way forward for me here?

  19. Hello Everyone! I signed up for a trial of the enterprise version, but I had a few quick questions moving forward. First of all, I'm pretty sure I signed up for the trial of the enterprise version so that I had access to the fullest of features as that is what I would want to sign up for, but I see several options within the interface about an enterprise server. Does this apply to me, or is it just a matter of having access to all of the extra features Pulseway enterprise. About the agent install, it looks like the only thing I can find that as an agent, actually installs the complete Pulseway management interface on a system. In managing my …

I am very happy that Pulseway finally released a way to deploy Feature Updates. That being said, we don't use WSUS any longer, we only rely on the ability of the Pulseway Agent to download and apply updates according to the rules we have setup. I am just curious if anyone using the Windows update GPO to control any of the Windows Update features on workstations that have Pulseway installed? I guess, is there any need for it and if so, what do you like to control? Do any of you disable Windows Updates entirely on your workstations and only rely on Pulseway to manage updates?

Hey Forum, We have a lot of notification pairs that are hardly relevant because they are pairs. E.g.: a ping doesn't respond for ten minutes and than it comes back again. Personally I don't mind these because it gives me a better understanding of what's going on in my networks, but my employer heard from the reseller that a simple script can delete the notifications when a pair forms. I do have to admit that it would be nice if rebooting a server wouldn't make such a mess of these notifications. I was told to look into implementing it, but I can't quite find it. Does anybody have any suggestions? Is this even a real thing? - Jaapyse

Has the 8.8.11 Agent update changed the behavior of the -support flag I'd heretofore been using with pcmontask.exe to bring up the Support Request window? I can confirm that "C:\Program Files\Pulseway\pcmontask.exe" -support still brings up the Support Request window in 8.8.10. If this is a permanent change, is there another way to bring up this window? Clients found using the taskbar icon to request support frustrating as Windows often shunts it to the "hidden items" section, or the icon is simply not visible, so as such I'd been using the aforementioned desktop shortcut with the -support flag. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I've got a bunch of x8 and x9 series SuperMicro motherboards that Pulseway doesn't monitor the hardware on. Fans, temps, power, etc Both the SuperDoctor 3 and SuperDoctor 5 utilities detect the hardware as well as HWInfo. How can I get these monitored? Baring that, how can I get SNMP setup to check the local host to monitor the output from SuperDoctor 5?

I had to reload my counters with a command in order to get CPU readings at all. I got that working, but now the only accurate CPU reading is the CPU tab. If I open the processes tab, some processes say 0% and others don't even show up. Do I need to reinstall? Windows 7 x64 intel core2 duo E8500 Mainboard MSI MS-7357 nVidia 470
