  1. I would like to request that CrashPlan backup monitoring be added to Pulseway.
  2. We are having issues installing the anti virus on a few clients with Symantec already installed. Please assist.
  3. My company has been testing out PSA/RMM systems for about a year now. Hands down Pulseway has been the BEST, however it's looking likely we are NOT going to be using PW because you don't have 2 simple features MOST others have. LDAP Integration is CRITICAL for our end users & security. We want to seriously "DUMB IT DOWN" for them. Emails DO NOT ACCOMPLISH THIS. On a constant basis no matter how much training they (end Users) get, they more often than not send emails like "It doesn't work." or "I got an error." Asking for further details beyond that kinda makes me wish I had become a dentist cause pulling teeth would probably be easier. For the same reason as stated above a web based ticket portal where we can control the "REQUIRED" fields would be amazing. This would give us the information we need to triage the incident and respond appropriately. We are looking for a system that makes us pro-active not re-active. Furthermore with the above LDAP integration some fields can be automatically populated like workstation and User (cause yes some people don't know how to spell their own name at times). With this Web Portal Ticket System we can make an easy button or desktop icon they can get right to without having to hunt for it. In summery: LDAP Integration and Web Based Ticket Portal. This could have made us customers for a very long time.
  4. Hi All, I am trying to get some of the CRM features up and running and we seem to be falling at the first hurdle. When trying to update an opportunity and provide a quote we are not being shown any products? I am assuming that this is because the system is stating that we have nothing in stock, however I don't see why this wouldn't allow us to quote? I have tried resolving this temporarily with ad-hoc quotes, however this then brings up the issue of the VAT not showing, although I believe that we have this input correctly. I know that this is a little vague, however more looking for pointers to look in the right places at present. Any help appreciated Thanks Craig
  5. So I copied a VM hard drive from one server to the next (lets say it was HDDx1), I just need to make a redundant VM (lets say it is HDDx2). I have done this successfully many times but never on VMs that are monitored by Pulseway. After I set up HDDx2, I did a system prep and reinstalled windows on it, gave it a new IP and name (I also renamed the copied VM HDD as well). Everything seems fine, except for Pulseway. It continues to send notifications that HDDx1 public IP has switched to HDDx2's IP and vice versa... What information can you provide to help me with this? I have tried uninstalling and reinstall Pulseway but it continues. I am not sure if I am fully uninstalling Pulseway though... any help would be appreciated.
  6. I made a install script for CCleaner to do a Silent install and clean if needed. Improvements are welcome! When a new version of FireFox comes out, just change the firefox version or url to the new value. # Silent Install Firefox # Download URL: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ # Path for the workdir $workdir = "c:\installer\" # Check if work directory exists if not create it If (Test-Path -Path $workdir -PathType Container) { Write-Host "$workdir already exists" -ForegroundColor Red} ELSE { New-Item -Path $workdir -ItemType directory } # Download the installer $source = "https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-51.0.1-SSL&os=win64&lang=en-US" $destination = "$workdir\firefox.exe" # Check if Invoke-Webrequest exists otherwise execute WebClient if (Get-Command 'Invoke-Webrequest') { Invoke-WebRequest $source -OutFile $destination } else { $WebClient = New-Object System.Net.WebClient $webclient.DownloadFile($source, $destination) } # Start the installation Start-Process -FilePath "$workdir\firefox.exe" -ArgumentList "/S" # Wait XX Seconds for the installation to finish Start-Sleep -s 35 # Remove the installer rm -Force $workdir\firefox*
  7. Can we run a script on all the Windows Pro Machines to enable bit locker?
  8. Does anyone know of a script that can remove Trend Micro? I am not versed in scripting and would like to find one that would save me from having to remove it 50 times manually. Thanks!
  9. Bottom line... can i change the computer identifier to something new? I am using a copy of a VM.vhdx to create a new secondary VM. However, the computer identifier is the same on both after setting them up. What do I need to do to create a new computer identifier? Deleting and reinstalling Pulseway is not enough, it still shows up with the same one. I assume somewhere deep in the registry I need to delete some things to stop this from happening. Thanks
  10. Hi, I think I have asked for it before, but can not find it. I think it would be very easy for you to implement :-) For CPU-notifications we can provide a timespan, but not for memory. This gives us a lot of notifications on memory peaks. We would like also to provide a timespan for memory. Please consider this a feature request. Br, Martin.
  11. Hey guys, I'm fresh to Pulseway, and I must say this stuff is an eye opener to our current remote access tool!! I do have a few questions that I would like to ask before converting our 100+ devices to Pulseway. We have a satelite PC's and laptops that we want to install Pulseway on (which we would do unattended for the majority of).. Without having to go into each and every config afterwards and password protect the config with 'click here to prevent changes' and lock it down - is there a global change option that we can do for this? - the issue I have is with leaving this open is that someone only has to make changes to the username, password and servername, and we have complete disconnection to the monitored device... I know we could 'import Settings' from a file to get the system back up and running again, but telling some of our users how to do that can be time consuming.. So, is there a lock down available? Also, in the case of an ICT employee / contractor leaving (with knowledge of the Admin / install credentials), we would change the password and have it propagated to our agents - if we selected a selected propagated time and the device wasn't turned on during that time - does that mean a monitored device will not be connected again? Is this why we would employ the 2 factor authentication? Thanks - Grunta
  12. Network Discovery and Automatic Deployment Is it possible to find a network appartment with the discovery tool? What's more in the planning for this feature? Is it possible to customize the IP address? Probe
  13. Hello, I have reinstalled my server. When logging in I get the following error: There was no endpoint listening at https://xxxxxxxxxx/WebApp.svc that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details. What can be the reason? Windows Server 2012 R2 SQL Express 2012
  14. Hello, I have reinstalled my server. If I want to change something in the Pulseway Server Administrator, I get the following error: „The request failed with http status 404: Not Found.“ Can someone help me? Best regards Nikolaj Kinas
  15. We use GFI MailEssentials for our anti-spam system, and we're having problems with the internal queues growing to a point where the system stops working. Does anyone know of a way to monitor the size of specific queues within Windows Message Queueing and of course notify at a given level. Please, no replies about our choice of anti-spam system...!
  16. I see that configuring policies / monitoring is done through the agent. What happens if you want to change the default workstation policy, how do you apply this to everyone? How can you upload files to pulseway? For example if I want to push out an installation currently I would push it up to our current RMM, and then push down to all machines and run script accordingly. Windows updates and third party patching - Kinda confused on how this works Are there any plans to change monitoring policies from the web interface instead of the agent? That's what I have so far. I'll post more as I go along.
  17. I've installed the self hosted RMM on a server with configuration: Windows server 2012 R2 MSSQL Express 2016 Domain joined server Trial license Now I'd like to add some Active Directory users. What would be totally awesome is if I could just create and AD group, say 'RMM Admins' and have all members of that group be an admin on the RMM platform. I haven't seen this feature in the manual or in the Pulseway Enterprise Manager. Am I missing something ?
  18. we have set a monitor event and want to only get certain types of logins, to alert to failed attempts, Right now, if we set it, we get all the 4624, but we just want the 4624 with type 7, and disregard all others. We want to see the errors for 4624 but when I put in Logon Type: 7, just as it is from the event log I get nothing. I only want to see type 7 events how could I do that? I am trying to do the include only event logs for options which are not working. Your support response was: Unfortunately it is not possible to configure the Pulseway event log filter to detect the Logon Type at this time, however we will add this functionality in the future release. Can you give us feedback on when these failed log in attempts can be filtered correctly?
  19. Hi, it seems that the Notifications -> Event Log -> Event Log Filter is one of the usefullst things for me. Now I need to know, if I can use wildcards. For example: I use Altaro VM Backup for my backups. I searched with EventLogSourcesView for all possible sources on my system. In the moment I use this list: "Altaro Offsite Server, Altaro VM Backup, Altaro VM Backup Controller, Altaro VM Backup Engine, Altaro VM Backup Hyper-V Host Agent, Altaro.HyperV.WAN.RemoteService". It would be easier, if I could just say "Altaro*", but I don't know if this would work. Thanks Christian.
  20. I made a install script for Adobe Reader DC to do a Silent install. UPDATED VERSION 2 With auto detect if Invoke-WebRequest exists Improvements are welcome! 21. Hi, On the Android phone app I noticed a red exclamation balloons on all my servers. If I open the app and look at the notifications it lists each server as going offline at the same time, but back on the main page none of the servers are grayed out and I can view live settings such as CPU temperatures just fine. I did not receive any emails alerts or an alert in the top bar on the Android phone. All the servers seem to be fine as I can remotely access them. Should I ignore the messages and delete them? Any idea whats going on?
  22. I made a install script for CCleaner to do a Silent install and clean if needed. UPDATED VERSION 3 With auto detect if Invoke-WebRequest exists Improvements are welcome! When a new version of CCleaner comes out, just change the ccsetup526 to the new value. # CCleaner Download / Update Location # http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download mkdir C:\CCleanerInstall Invoke-WebRequest http://download.piriform.com/ccsetup526.exe -OutFile C:\CCleanerInstall\ccsetup526.exe Start-Process -FilePath "c:\CCleanerInstall\ccsetup526.exe" -ArgumentList "/S" Start-Sleep -s 20 rm-R -Force C:\CCleanerInstall If you want you can also add: Start-Process -FilePath "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe" -ArgumentList "/CLEANER /AUTO" Start-Sleep -s 20 This will do a Auto Clean with CCleaner You can add this to Scripts as a PowerShell Script.
