Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your logs. You need to add the 'securityadmin' role to the SQL user you've configured in Pulseway Manager. Chris

Dashboard requires administrative privileges
Chris replied to Martin Stevnhoved's topic in Dashboard
Hi Martin, We require administrative access so that we can write to the Program Files directory (to install updates). There is no way for you to run Pulseway Dashboard without administrative rights without breaking some functionality. Chris -

Hi, Please delete the /var/pulseway/pulseway.id and restart the Pulseway daemon. Before creating an image of the SD card or rename the pulseway.id file to prevent identifier collision. Chris

Hi Andrew, I recommend you to read this forum post too: Chris

Hi David, Thank you for your feedback. This is a great idea, would you like this for all items (so you won't navigate from the details page) but only open accordion and display the contents there or support both navigation and accordion? Chris

Hi Guy, We are considering on allowing you to add notifications for other monitored systems in the future. We'll let you know if this reaches production. Chris
-
Hi Guy, You can only use the RESTful API to generate notifications for instances created using the RESTful API. Chris

Hi, Pulseway cannot directly monitor RAID arrays however you can use the following tools that redirect RAID events to the event log which Pulseway can detect and notify you. For HP you can use the "HP Smart Array Event Notification Service" and for DELL there are built-in event log writers in the drivers (documentation). Also check to see if the RAID Adapter supports SNMP which Pulseway can hook into and monitor the status too. Chris

Hi Guy, Welcome to the Pulseway community. The instance_id is a unique identifier for your API instance. This is generally the serial number of the application or some identifier you use to differentiate an application instance from another. Chris

Hi Markus, It seems that you're running a very old version of the windows agent. Please uninstall it (your settings will remain), download the latest windows agent from here and install it. Chris
-
Hi, Can you attach a screenshot of the error or type in the error message? This is required to understand what the issue is. Chris

There is no GUI application for the Linux agent. You can configure the daemon by editing the configuration file from: /etc/pulseway/config.xml.sample and then renaming it to config.xml . Service notifications are also configured from the configuration file. Chris

Hi, Do you have any directory notifications enabled? What plugins did you install on that system? Chris

Hi, You can setup a Pulseway group policy to automatically enable the Remote Desktop module (the service will automatically download and install the latest version of the module). Check out the page 19 of the user manual (link). Chris

Hi, We are working on introducing this feature as part of the Remote Desktop module. Would you like to transfer files between your mobile device (or webapp) or between monitored systems? PS: You do know that you can send files from a system to your Inbox, right? Chris
-
Hi Bastian, Thank you for the kind words. You could setup a device access policy for his mobile phone to only give him read-only access to the systems. He will still receive notifications and be able to check the status of systems but no commands will be displayed or allowed from his phone. Check out this blog post. Chris

Hi Paul, Thank you for your feedback. This is a great idea, we've added it to our todo list. Chris

Hi, Welcome to the Pulseway community. Pulseway cannot monitor and manage smartphones as of now. We'd love to have this feature in the future. Chris
