Hi, I have an old legacy app server, (Windows 2003) running pulseway just to monitor Up/Down Status and it went offline last night in the pulseway system. The server is still up and gives an error: "Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority... " when I click "Validate Registration" on the main page in Pulseway. I searched the forum and support site and I see references to importing a certificate to replace an expired certificate but I cannot find any that expired recently in the certificate manager. I completely understand this is an old system, but it needs to stay up a bit longer until a new system rollout is completed…

Hi there, We've noticed that a number of our devices aren't receiving Adobe Reader/Acrobat patches from Pulseway, despite the option being selected in our patching policies. The version installed appears to be 22.3.20282.0, not the 23.003.20269 expected. Are you able to look into this for me please? Cheers!

I've recently disabled powershell.exe for users to run directly and was notified by those users that they've seen a Windows Script Host error. The error is C:\PCBP\UnitrendsScripts\ApplySambaCredentials.vbs, line 14. That line leads back to a call on powershell.exe to run ManageSambaCredentials.ps1. Since this is the only change I've made in recent memory that would cause this behavior, is it not possible to run Unitrends Backup Agent if powershell.exe is disabled for the user? The comment in the .vbs states "This script is necessary so the ManageSambaCredentials.ps1 powershell script call be called by the system with no visible window." Any information …

So I have a few devices that get stuck on the "Status - Checking" when attempting to run a patch policy. I've tried unregistering the machines and changing policies but that doesn't seem to help. I've tried uninstalling Pulseway from the device and then reinstalling. The only way I've been able to get past this issue, is to fully wipe the device and start over. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hello, We have a couple of computers that kaspersky update is extremely out of date. Tried to uninstall the KAV using removal tool, run scripts in powershell and reinstall from Pulseway webapp and manually reinstall from KAV folder and still nothing work. Still getting the malfunction error, the update will run and stop at 70% then will give malfunction message. Does anyone encountered this issue?

Hi! I noticed this first on my iPhone after the iOS 14 update, but since then i can't start my computers with either phone or now the windows app. Am i the only one? If so the problem must be at my end. Please let me know it drives me crazy. ToddeSwe

Hi, We use pulseway for monitoring servers and workstations, but there is a risk that the support employees do push an update to servers. In the Dashboard applications there was a option to make those groups unseen, can't this be done in the Windows 8.1 app? Or even nicer, to make them visible but make those blocked for pushing instructions to certain groups. This wil make it much more usefull as also a support departments can use it safely to monitor and still cant do anything on the server itself. Kind regards, Remko Kamp ITea Solutions

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. We mostly work through the Windows Application (on Windows 10 tablets), and the version we have installed does not have a "Scripts" option like the applications for other platforms. This is a great function, and I would really like to be able to use it from our Windows machines. Is there an update I am missing? Thanks! Matt

Hey we are chasing an problem in our SQL setup and in that quest we come across some heavy requests called often by the pulseway client the querylooks llike this This comes in at 1 place and 3 and 4 place in top most CPU consumin queries We are running an "large" SQL db (600GB) with 850 users online... so a lot queries are running alle the time... We received (see below) the following from one of our agents (followed up by a similar 1 new application has been uninstalled with the same lack of details). Our client claims they ran an regular monthly update for a database application on that server, but this is the first time I've seen this kind of alert from Pulseway. I've looked at the event logs for the time period when the alerts came out & I'm not seeing anything particular. The only thing recently (5/18) installed the Shopping App by Ask (which I'm not particularly excited about). The Hardware page in PulseWay is not showing any items for this system at all. It's a SuperMicro SYS-5018D-FN4T system with a X10SDV-8C-TLN4F motherboard. Xeon D processor, running Windows 10. Is there any way to monitor hardware for this system? Thank you Jerry

I have downloaded and installed the Windows 8 metro app to have a look at but when I run it it shows the splash screen "PC Monitor" and just displays a blank screen. I can call the Charms menu up and even if I do "About" it doesn't display anything at all. Other links in the Charms menu ie "Terms Of service" call up IE and "Request a Feature" jumps to email. Any ideas? Regards Mark

When attempting log login to the windows 8 app I see this message: "Sign In Error one or more errors occurred". I have checked Windows Event Viewer -> Custom Views -> ServerRoles -> Administrative Events and found not events related to this logon attempt. I do have an Enterprise License. Both the PCMonitor Server and the Windows 8 computer are on the same subnet.

It appears there is no way to scroll down in the group view of the Windows 8 app. I tried both with touch and a mouse and was unable to view anything past the ninth system in the group. (Most of my groups have 20 to 25 systems.)

Hi Hard to explaine but i'll try: I want to start the original monitoring software where i can see all my computers. But since i use Windows 8 i can just start the metro app but not the one for Windows. Is not Windows 8 supported? I don't like to have it running metro style. ToddeSwe

Hey Ive been using PC monitor on android for a while now but have recently got a Microsoft Surface, running Windows RT and have downloaded the app on that. However, im finding that when the target PC is sleeping/hibernating, that the wake up command doesn't work from with windows RT app. I keep getting a message saying "Wake up command failed" This is still working fine on my android app though. I haven't changed any settings, as I simply connect with my account username/password. Any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks, Rich
