    What is the proper way to disable a system from running network discovery probes? I no longer need device discovery on a network, and have removed the system from being designated as a probe, but it is still running scans daily via 'C:\Program Files\Pulseway\Probe\Nmap\nmap.exe'.

I've made some changes on config.xml in order to add more services and ports and also disable the shutdown and the power off options.   4. I am looking to use a probe to install the pulse way manager on a device. The device is found on the network by the probe, however the Remote Computer Administrator Credentials will not allow me to leave anything blank. The device i am looking to install the manager on does not have a password set for the administrator account. I can enter the account name, however it will not let me submit the deployment while the password field is empty. Is there something I should enter into the password field that will still work even though the target device does not have a password?

    not sure where to post this question, so gone for general. is there a way, or should i create a feature request, to create a disk space report (say a graph) to show disk space usage over a period of time, i know i can create a number of notifications, with priority getting higher and higher as the space gets lower and lower to see that the space on a selected disk is getting low, but would be nice to create a graph so we can predict when the disk is due to run out? thanks in advance Gary

  7. Pretty much what the topic says - I would figure (hope?) this would never be the case, but worth asking. I assume that setting the monitoring service to "auto update" itself would never cause a reboot of the host computer, correct?

    Hey all, trying out Pulseway RMM and love it so far. We're a small shop (45 systems, 5 servers) that has to be DoD and CMMC Compliant, so I'm wondering if anyone out there is in the same boat and had any issues with such? I'm aware how communication is encrypted and the slew load of security controls in place via https://www.pulseway.com/security but it's going to be a hard sell as "it opens up our network" (and we don't even have vpns going for this reason). So any insight? -V

Hi, i want to know how i can monitor the dropbox daemon on linux, i'v tried things with workflow but when i stop the service manualy it won't send me a notification or try to restart the service, and that is bothering me becaus on our servers we need to have dropbox running all the time for our application, i know that dropbox is weird on linux, it won't show with systemctl, but it's still like a daemon. I'm running debian buster machine all up to date with the last pulseway agent

  11. Hi Could someone assist in helping me to set up an alert when a network connection is dropped. This is happening at one of my client sites after changing to a new ISP. The ISP says the router/switch is fine but connections are dropping. I would like to be able to log when a connection drops (ideally knowing if the internet connection has dropped or just the internal network connection) I'm not sure a simple ping notification is good enouh in Pulseway to do this as I need to know if the connection has dropped for a few mseconds as well as larger outages. I guess the Event Viewer holds the answers but would appreciate it if anyone has done this befo…

    Is there any easy way to see which agents haven't communicated in 60 days? Need to clean up some computers that got replaced, etc. I didn't know if there was a report that could be generated or if there was already that functionality built into the web app. What is the best procedure to free up agent licenses and remove non-communicating agents?

    Hey, If we receive monitoring emails from pulsway, they are blocked by the spam filter. Our spam filter is at normal level. I have had contact with our provider but that can not be changed.   17. Is there a way to configure Pulseway to only send email notifications on critical alerts? I've had a look through the account settings and the agent but can't find anything immediately obvious....could someone point me in the right direction?

    Hi all, I send Pulseway email alerts to a email alert aggregate (PushBullet) and I was wondering if there is any way of getting rid of the promotional stuff at the bottom of the email? We primarily use the email notifications. I'd like to get rid of everything under the: "*Did you know" Let me know?

    I've requested a trial and I just configured a server. I'm using mycompanyname.pulseway.com. I've configured a mail server under server admin > settings > email and the test email is getting delivered but no notifications at my mailaddress. Did I miss something ?

    It would be awesome if the email parser went a little deeper. Sometimes a client emails us directly and we forward that email to Pulseway to open a ticket. The problem with this is that it opens the ticket using our company as the client. It would be great if we could get the parser to look in the email headers to find the address that the email originated from and use THAT to assign and client and user to the ticket. There are other ticket systems that do this. Alternatively (though not as elegant), It would also work to put a flag in the subject line like "@CLIENTNAME" to get the email assigned to the client. Is there a way to do this with workflow…

    Hello Team Pulseway! Can we assign a ticket to a custom queue by scanning keywords in the subject line? For example, we have made some custom queues for Hardware, Email issue, Epicor, etc. and would like to create rules to scan the subject line for specific keywords and place them in a specific queue and assign them to specific users too. I tried under Admin -> Business process -> Workflow, but it didn't seem readily apparent exactly what I should be doing from there.
