  1. I have just noticed that I get a success event and email sent when the backup only partially works. I am using Windows server backup and backup 2 vitual servers from the host. If the backup manages to backup just one of the VMs but the other fails I am still sent success info. I do get failed if the entire backup fails but getting a success when it has not properly backed up is a bit of a problem tbh. Any fixes or workarounds?

    I have been running the software in a hosted environment with a company called OVH out of canada. For $22 a month I get a Windows 2012 virtual 2 core, 4GB ram and 50GB HD, 100mbit and 5 TB of transfer. So far the solution has worked flawlessly. Much better than amazon. I have full IP KVM console access and actuall support people I can talk to. I now have moved all my hosted solutions to OVH.

  3. Hi Just taken on a client with laptops that have encrypted hard drives. They need a password when starting up so does anyone have experience/ideas with regards to remote support and monitoring. I use Pulseway to apply Updates, for example, in an evening but with many needing restarts I'm then unable to check all is well before the start of the next working day. Cheers, Andy

    I'm not going to say what I really am feeling about this product right now because "my content will need to be approved by a moderator". But I am baffled by this company at the moment. I recently renewed for another year and the invoice does not match the amount my card was charged. It's only a few dollars different but accountants are sticklers and in order for me to submit my credit card statement to accounts payable I need an ACCURATE invoice. The "ask a question" is the only apparent support when logged into my account but doesn't actually get an answer or response of any sort.     Hi This morning one of our servers was rebooting ever 5 or 6 minutes and since I could not find a cause I removed the PW manager and the Problem was solved. Reinstalled it and problem was there again and so I removed it again and we'll called it a day for now. But like 6hrs later my phone was going completely nuts with one warning after another and almost all server were in the same bootloop, restart and after 5 minutes the next reboot So I checked the workstations and yes same issue here, I just don't have warnings for them. We have a server with a lot of brute force attacks RDP: 3389 SQL: 1433 We can see in event viewer two repeated events (failed loing attempts) eventID: 4625 Microsoft Windows Security Auditing eventID: 18456 MSSQLSERVER We want to receive a notification when we receive "5 o more" failed login attempts in RDP and SQL. Can we use "Pulseway Counters" or "Pulseway evenlog"? How?

    Hi all. A colleague of mine have created a patch management policy and assigned it to several groups of computers. This works as indented and have made everyone happy However, if I create a new patch management policy it's impossible for me to go to Patch management -> Agents status, search for a group and change the patch policy. When I hover on the "Change Policy" or "Remove Policy" buttons, the mouse pointer transforms into a "forbidden" sign and the tooltip says "Disabled by policy". What policy is that, and how can I assign a new patch management policy to a group? I have the admin role in the Pulsway portal, and I'm able to edit patch policies.

  21. I was referred to Pulseway via one of your staff (Jamie) on Reddit but the evaluation form is saying I need to use a different email address. I'm using my work email address, I am the IT Manager for a high school. Is there a restriction on *.edu.au domains? I can't even contact Pulseway via the contact us form due to the same error.

  22. From the : Get Start" page , I was asked to fill " company email address" . even when I fill with " personal" in " business " section , the webpage will not let me go to next page . From another route, I managed to setup an email address ,user name and password , and have completed the email confirmation process However when I used the App in phone , I still got " Account error" with the user name and password. Is Pulseway now a pure business program?

  23. I'm in the process of cleaning up some of the duplicates that came from the 6.0 upgrade. One of the scopes that we are having trouble with is the All Systems for <username> from <username> account. we've removed all reports and tasks in the system that were using the scope, but we still get an error message when attempting to delete the scope that its still being used by a report. How can we go about removing these?
