Hi all I got a message from pulseway support that my mobile phone was added to my pulseway account. I did not add it. This happened while I was working on malware removal on-site at a customers premises on today. I have changed my pulseway password with no propagation. Could this be related to the malware on my customers pc? Thanks,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place guys - I couldn't find a dedicated area to your PSA application so figured I'd stick to the general enquiries. Is anyone able to clearly tell me how Pulseway's new PSA solution integrates with RMM? As far as I can tell, so far all that happens is tickets can be automatically raised by RMM notifications. Haven't done a deep dive yet, but I can't even see where a ticket would be raised against a particular enduser/client/company? Is there any other functionality available that I'm not seeing? Appreciating the solution is new, I feel like there is a heap of potential here that hasn't yet been unlocked. For example, it would …

I've got Pulseway installed on a number of servers and it notify's nicely if a backup is successful or fails, but I've a couple of instances when a backup hasn't even tried to run so has neither failed or succeeded. I've noticed a number of posts requesting a feature for Pulseway to generate an alert when no backup activity has been detected in X number of days. Has this been looked at? Is this possible? Can this be developed please? Thank you

After installing some new software (not related to Pulseway) a reboot was required. As it happens, the server went down and no notifications were sent out. Looking at the Pulseway manager it looked like it was monitoring the server, however i got NO notifications about the downed server. When i ran a service pulseway restart... i quickly got a notification that the server was on-line. That seemed to resolve the problem. My question is why does Pulseway not automatically do a restart when the machine is rebooted? Is this something i need to do every time a server is rebooted? I use Jenkins when i need to run mass jobs on our servers. Should i create a job that …

Is there a way to monitor a service and started automaticly if the status is stopped. is this possible natively or does it require some kind of manual schedulet task to make this work? if it requires a schedulet task then this could be seen as feature request to create a automated service restart rule into the rules.

When a specific service goes down, i am getting the appropriate notifications; however, when it comes back on-line i am not getting any notifications. I would like to know when the server goes down but also when it comes back up... any ideas?

I hope that this will be a simple question to resolve. I need to enable repeat notifications that are sent to my phone. If i miss a notification and i may never know it is there if i dont get follow up notifications. How do i set this up to allow repeat notifications that are sent to my phone app?

Hi guys I have a client PC on W7 Pro. Customer reported that the PC rebooted on its own. After this incident I can not see the pc on pulseway. I have updates locked down so I can remotely choose which ones to install. Haven't been on site yet to examine the logs, doing it tomorrow anyone seen this problem before? I was just wondering, is there a way to create Notifications Templates? For example, we intend on using Pulseway to monitor workstations as well as servers. I'm quite happy to configure notifications for each server, but having to configure notifications for each individual workstation for all our clients is going to be a nightmare!

Maybe someone can shed some light on this. Using the PSA system, I have gone several times now into the Service Desk module, selected hardware assets and assigned them to their respective clients. Every 24 hours or so, as I am entering in tickets and trying to assign a hardware asset to those tickets, I am finding that a bulk of the hardware assets are reverting back to my company as the client asignee. I have have to repeatedly go back and re-assign those hardware assets back to the clients. Besides the colosal waste of time, it makes me wonder if any other information is not being retained in the databse. Any clue? Shawn

I have been searching for a way to have my Mac Pro running 4D Server app notify me if the server app has "hung" or crashed outright. I am not a programmer, but simply a small business owner trying to stay on top of the systems we have. Having stumbled into Pulseway this week, I am so far impressed with its capabilities. It looks just like what I need! However, I could not find a way to tell it to notify me if my database app runs into trouble. The physical machine is extremely stable, but I am grateful for the notifications that Pulseway offers in terms of dismounting volumes, failing drives, etc. My one last need is to be notified if the server application hangs or …

At previous RMM's we've utilized scripts to integrate ninite. We run the update switch to update all the appollications followed by the audit switch and write the results to a local text file. We then parse the file to verify that all third party applications are up to date triggering warnings and failed status's based on different logic, but to keep it simple let's say based on the count of the word "update" in the audit file, as this would mean that the applications have an update available. I can run the scripts using your scripting/automation engine, and i know scheduleing is coming soon so we can automate this, but I have not found a way to parse a text file from w…

I am setting up the Ping Notification feature and need some insight into how it works. My understanding is that it pings the selected device every 5 seconds. Is this a consistent 5 seconds for as long as i have the device added to the ping feature? I don't know that i need it to ping every 5 seconds (can this be changed) 300ms for 1 minute, i dont understand this... how often is it checking the device? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

I am new to SNMP and I'm having a little trouble getting set up. I understand that SNMP works by trapping signals sent from the Agent and they are sent to the Master. I don't see any 'trapping" in the Pulseway set up. I have successfully discovered a test device and have been able to pull up the MIB/OID list. This list however makes very little sense to me as it doesn't explain what I am trying to monitor. Could somebody give me some depth in this subject. What is Pulseway monitoring exactly? How do i determine what the OID is? Is there any trapping actually going on? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks, Aaron

Hi, I've setup the SQL Server server module, using a specific user login (who I know has permissions, as tested and used when checking the query later). I've then setup a notification using it, based on a query. However when that runs I get told that "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" can't access the database. This doesn't surprise me, but I don't understand why it's trying to connect as that, and not the user I set up. Any ideas? Thanks

I have MegaRaid controller cards in several of my servers. On my Windows servers I can use an app called MegaRaid Manager that logs errors and other info to the application event log that Pulseway monitors for me wonderfully. However, on my Linux servers the app different, it is called StorCLI. I can get plenty of information from this and even have a log generated but I don't know how to get Pulseway configured to monitor it. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Aaron
