How can I create custom groups and move servers into them? By the way just wanted you to know I have been able to accomplish server admin functions quicker using this tool than my own workstation. Just amazing what you have done! CP

We are a small support company in NZ who manage many different clients in the same industry. Just struggling with the best way to configure pulseway in relation to grouping and scopes. How do others do this? One group per client with all their equipment inside the group ? Or groups dependant on task (workstation / servers etc ) so they can be attributed different patch policies and group policies easily. Would love some thoughts. Thanks.

Hi there, I'm totally new to Pulseway (teams/MSP) and I need an hand setting up a, I think, common situation. I have a client that wants to receive e-mail notifications (not push with app) for his servers. I have placed his server in a dedicated agents group, but how to achieve? I don't want that he can log in web app and mobile app too, only receive his notifications. Thank you.

Hi, Love the app! But I don't get any hardware details. In the Open Hardware Monitor util, which I see you are using libraries from, all temp and fan speeds show up, but not in PCM. Could this be down to a system setting on my part, or are you not using the libraries to get to hardware details?

The PC Monitor app will not show any hardware devices on the Hardware Monitor tab. This is an older server so I figured it would return status...it shows nothing. Does anyone have a fix or workaround? Joe

Hello to All members, I hope somebody could advise me if it is an issue of PC Monitor. At home I have a running server with several HDDs. It is setup to suspend/spin down the disks after 30 min of no activity. After installing PC monitor service my impression is that none of the disks get suspended. I run the WIndows 8 OS. The impression has been confirmed by the power consumption meter. Any idea what could be the issue and how to solve it. Cheers

On one of my machines, an SBS 2008 box, PCMonitorSrv.exe (2.4.1) takes about 30% CPU, while a SVCHOST.EXE instance that appears to be related to it takes about 20%. The SVCHOST instance stops with the PCMonitorSvc, so I'm assuming they're related. Is there a way to be alerted to GPU hardware changes? We have had a few clients who have Nvidia 3080s and other high end cards stolen and replaced with onboard video or lower end cards. We would like to be notified for these hardware changes via an alert. I know Pulseway is able to set up custom alerts, I just don't know what we need to do to make this happen. From what I read on Google, Windows tracks this in the System log?

How can I produce a report that shows activity on an endpoint? The audit report only shows current status. Hello everyone i have little problem when i want to use patch management. I have my app msi file, but when it install on device files goes to ( to be honest idk why. Probably pulseway services runs under system so it tries to install itself ) C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Programs\MyTestApp I want to change the installation directory or try hacky way to install my msi under Program files. Any suggestion? I'm new at pulseway i would like to hear best way to install msi. Also idk how install arguments works. How should I leave the arguments? .

Due to an issue this month with the Windows updates on some domain controllers I would like to pause (skip) the scheduled updates I have set in Pulsway this month. I assume I could just change the scheduled time to next month but would be way simpler to just be able to click pause. Is there a pause option? Do i need to change the scheduled time of the update or is there a better way? Cheers :-)

My experience has not been horrible, but it hasn't been good either. The high pressure that they put on you during calls is definitely not appreciated but I don't blame the sales people, upper management is probably leaning on them pretty hard. Overall, I think I would give them a 3/10. As soon as we can move on we will. Just like others have mentioned on Reddit, We have licensing issues from time to time that we just ignore and they will be restored a few hours later. The RDC isn't very good in a mixed PC / Mac environment. TEST, TEST, TEST, before you become a customer. They are not easy to deal with if you have any complaints.

Hi all, Wonderful app. Can't believe I only discovered this a couple of weeks ago. I'm using it with a computer at home and it's been really cool to be able to monitor (and administer) the computer remotely so easily. Quick question: I'm monitoring a Windows Server 2012 computer and looking at CPU usage (using the iOS PC Monitor app). The CPU usage reported in the app seems consistently twice as high as what I see in the Task Manager and Resource Monitor inside of Windows itself. When I go to http://pulseway.com/ and then log into 'My Computers' I can click on 'Manage Account' but I cannot find a way to change any of my information. Our technical support AD credentials have changed passwords and now we are getting hundreds of machines trying to login with the configured AD account PowerShell User Impersonation credentials…locking the technician accounts. These machines are spread out at 19 separate locations and over 600 miles, at remote locations. How do we remotely modify the Runtime PowerShell user credentials on those machines?
