Hi all, We have SMTP working fine in PSA Pulseway. I believe the settings are correct in the Email Parser but when testing it can never connect to the server. Any suggestions? I have read through all the asks here that came up when searching IMAP. Using the same user from SMTP settings page. Error! Connection to server failed. I have a policy applied to all workstations which under Notifications > Storage is set to send a notification when a non-system partition has less than 25% (this value doesn't matter for now), however I have one workstation where I want to change this value. I can do this using the Pulseway manager, but this involves logging onto the computer to do it. Hello to all, I currently have a problem to deploy the agent on a machine. I have activated the Administrator account on the machine, but nothing works. I created another administrator account but still this error: "We couldn't access the admin share (\systemName\admin$) on the target system." I would like to understand in order to be able to do a mass deployment in the future. Sincerely

Hello, suddenly I am unable to uninstall KAV from some of the computers (they both are in the same group) as in the RMM the uninstall option along with change policy are greyed out with notification "disabled by policy". Not really sure what that should mean as I do not recall any changes in AV policy being changed lately. Also uninstall from within the Windows is not possible, greyed out too. What gives? Thanks

Good morning Pulseway team, I came across an issue that was a big oversight and I'm looking to find out if there is a way to not allow an end user to uninstall the Pulseway Manager. The story is I had an employee that was having issues with their computer. They assumed that it had to be the Pulseway Manager tool since he's convinced that ever since the tool has been installed he has had a much slower computer. The real reason was his in truck hotspot wasn't giving him the speeds as he was getting in the office... Is there a way to “pre-configure” an agent for them so their machines show up in my scope after they install it?

After receiving a verification on my phone I get this nasty gram. So far: .Net 4.0 install was blocked because a later version was already installed. So I don't think it is a .net version issue. I am new to Pulseway, and have noticed that when I deploy manually by downloading the .msi and running as a local admin that the Pulseway Manager shortcuts get added to the desktop and the start menu. However, if I use a probe and deploy via mass deployment that the agent still gets deployed but without any shortcuts. Is there a way to replicate this behavior (no shortcuts) when running locally? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok need to know how to not show the Pulseway manager after install. We cannot always install onsite and have issues with employees changing settings. Plus how do we change setting in the pulseway manager remotely, sadly manager has more power over the the monitoring system.

I am very happy that Pulseway finally released a way to deploy Feature Updates. That being said, we don't use WSUS any longer, we only rely on the ability of the Pulseway Agent to download and apply updates according to the rules we have setup. I am just curious if anyone using the Windows update GPO to control any of the Windows Update features on workstations that have Pulseway installed? I guess, is there any need for it and if so, what do you like to control? Do any of you disable Windows Updates entirely on your workstations and only rely on Pulseway to manage updates?

I think one of our administrators has deleted the Pulseway service...... I have removed the reg keys, uninstalled and re-installed Pulseway but it's not installing the service. Any ideas please?! Thanks

Hi there, We've recently set up Policies to use on all of our servers. We have nightly/weekly reboots on some of the servers within each group. We would like to know if there's a way to have Maintenance windows on a server level basis? Not all servers in a group are rebooted at the same time each week so we wouldn't want to miss any notifications. Thanks in advance

When trying to install the Pulseway .msi on a Win10 OS I receive the following error message and the installer closes out. "This advertised application will not be installed because it might be unsafe…change the installation user interface option of the package to basic" What can I do to correct this error? Thanks

So I can't install the Pulseway Agent on a Windows 2019 Server. I installed it on 21 servers, but on this one fails. The error "The installer was interrupted before Pulsenay could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again." I tried installing the certificate, it changed nothing.

Hi All! I am excitedly coming to the end of a trial and about to commit to deploying Pulseway, so I hope I will be a regular contributor to this group. A niggling issue I am having is we have a number of devices with HostNames greater than 15 characters. When I install the agent, and it displays in the UI it is truncating any additional letters after the (NETBIOS compliant) 15 characters. Anyone else also experiencing this issue? I am looking to control a PC remotely, so I installed this one. I normally use Google desktop that works fine, but I want to more to a more robust solution. My first test to see if the FREE version works before I go in and pay. I have it all installed and I can connect to the PC remotely, but it is an image and I can't control anything. Is this the way this software is supposed to work? I want to control the desktop.

Hi all, I recently did a clean upgrade to Windows 10 on 2 WKSTs previously running Windows 7 with Pulseway installed. I am now at a loss as to how to re-add these units to my Pulseway instance. I see they are still showing up in the “Deployment Successful” tab under “Discovery & Deployment”. Is there a way to re-add these units without manually installing the Pulseway app on these WKSTs?

Hello! A few questions and i hope I posted it in correct forum Has anyone used Pulseway in offline mode? If to use pulseway in online mode, can you specify which softwares to download auto and can you access that folder? My issue is that I wonder if Pulseway has the option, where I can specify all the software updates needed, it downloads it automatically and then i can copy this to a usb or such and then take it to a replication pulseway setup but that has no internet, upload the folder with updates and then Pulseway pushes it to the clients from that folder or usb. Softwares is a mix of 3rd party + windows/office updates Is above doable? …

We currently have a Windows Update policy running on all of our computers and are having difficulty finding the best way to implement 3rd party patches. Working for a school district, we have different teachers who have different needs for their students. We are trying to find a way to set up multiple groups for machines so that the appropriate software gets installed only on those machines. Our math teacher, for instance, has 20 students that needs some TI Nspire calculator software, while we have another teacher that wants some art software installed on their student machines. Some of these students might overlap but we can find a way to assign multiple policies to each…
